no scams here. the full details of what happened are below but essentially i'm giving away 1 touch pro 2 cdma 2000mAh battery. if you're based in australia, you're most welcome to it and all i ask is you pay for shipping....which will be less than 5 bucks. we can settle it through paypal or bank deposit. sorry but i can't ship international as mailing systems here are quite strict about sending batteries. so if you're interested, do drop me a pm. i also have the original box and the manuals if needed. i bought the battery from ebay, the brand is andida. i'm quite satisfied with it when it was being used by my unit.
the reason i'm giving it away. last nov 12 was my last day for working for my company. on that very same day my phone was stolen. i reported it to security and lo and behold they said they couldn't help me as i was no longer an employee....just one of the reasons why i moved to greener pastures. anyway, had my sim blocked as well as the imei.
i have property insurance and have now received my replacement phone (hd2). with that, it'll be shame to simply chuck the battery in the bin or in the cupboard. thus, do drop me a line and i'll send it off. if no one's interested, i'll probably give it off in ebay for 99 cents. and if that fails, bin it =)
cheers
Do you by chance have a docking cradle that charges the seperate battery? I could REALLY use one of those.. but being out of work at the moment I can not afford any more toys... I could cover shipping though... Thanks in advance for your responce
Hi!
First of all, I hope I'm in the right forum...
If this is not the right forum for this thread, please move it.
I want to buy a white One X (int.) in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Someone know where I can buy it there? I want a store that will let me open the device, and check there are no build issues, and a low price. (If I'm right, I should get a 16% tax refund because I'm a tourist from outside EU)
Thanks for helpers!
The phonehouse should have unbranded phones and proper DOA services, but they are expensive...
i got lost in there site... didn't find the one x on the search.
someone knows more stores?
if you are staying in Amsterdam for a few days, order it online. there aren't many shops with the hox in stock except maybe as mentioned the phonehouse but they are expensive. I ordered mine from midi media, cheapest in the Netherlands (only e513 including delivery) but the phone is Vodafone branded .
check this site: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/
i would be there for only 3 days.
but it will be in 2 month, you don't think it will be in stock?
EDIT: does midimedia has a store in Amsterdam? if so, what is it? (i cant read their site, and google translate dont want to translate it )

I went looking for one this week and the shops I wanted to buy from (ie. were not much more expensive than the best internet deals) did not have any in stock. Maybe you can place an order and check out the phone. I can recommend mycom, I bought many product from them, tried them out, decided I did not like those products and got my money back without hassles (even after opening all the packaging)

i cant order from the internet to israel, because when it will get here ill have to pay at least 16% tax.
and midimedia is much cheaper...
have it delivered to your address in amsterdam
also the new government in holland (already dubbed the butt **** coalition (sorry mods, that's what the new coalition is dubbed)) decided to raise VAT from a whopping 19% to an unbelievable 21% , so you will likely have to pay even more. Why not get the device back home?
(edit: vat probably won't matter a lot because you might get a refund, okay than preorder it from mycom to get it from the store of your choosing)
bought my white One-X at Belcompany in Eindhoven, no problems with the phone, build date 28 march 2012
in the stores, they're always more expansive than online
First of all our vat is currently 19% rather than 16% as mentioned. I got mine from marktplaats.nl (like Craigslist), brand new in an unopened box from a guy that got it with his corporate renewal for €400, not kidding. You'll have to go pick it up at someone's private house though and be prepared for some haggling.
Make sure you call ahead and ask if the seller has the receipt that states the imei. If it doesn't, leave it as it's likely stolen. You might still be able to get the vat back at the port of exit if the receipt is recent enough (most people that get a renewal put the phone on marktplaats the same day they get it). Make sure the receipt doesn't state the buyer's name, which it mostly doesn't.
Good luck. I get all my phones this way, no problems so far. We're a pretty decent and friendly people ;-)

if there is any problem with the device, who gives me the warranty? HTC? i mean if i have yellow spot or something like that, i need to send the device to HTC?
So I'm ready to get one of these babies, and I saw a OP3 for sale in a town near me so I can avoid the shipping delay. The picture shows the phone is still sealed (unopened), but the seller says that he got it as a prize and doesn't need it, which raises some alarms. I've heard of people selling stolen/financed/blacklisted phones. If the phone is factory sealed, how can I verify its legitimacy? The price is a flat 400, same as from the website.
Is this a scam? Should I just order from the website and wait an extra week? Or, what papers should I request from the seller to make sure I don't get ripped off?
Dude, just buy it from OnePlus directly, I even got the no payments and no interest for 6 months promotion they had with PayPal. Just wait a few days it wasn't even a week, I bought it the day it came out and received it today.

Also, buy a case, I bought one from Amazon Prime the same day and received it two days later. It was a Pleson branded clear case, great quality, though it lights up the entire phone when you run on the flashlight lol

I have been trying to purchase the OP3 from the official website for days. All my cards keep getting declined, despite working on Amazon, Newegg/other places. Their website and payment processor are a wreck. So at this point I just want to buy the phone somewhere without getting scammed.

I don't think you should worry that much. If the box is sealed and he's got a receipt there's nothing to worry about. But your only problem is going to be the warranty. I was chatting with their customer service today and asked if I bought a oneplus 3 from a private seller would the warranty be valid. They said that theres no guarantee they would honor the warranty which is just retarded if you ask me lol

Some people finance the phones, then sell them for cash and stop making payments. Then the imei gets blocked.
The guy says he won a phone in a work contest and 'doesn't need it', He says he has a distributor slip that came with it, which im not sure is a receipt. I see lots of these types of posts on craigslist, so it raised a few red flags. I talked to oneplus support today and they said that if I call them with the serial number they will be able to determine whether the device is paid for and all additional information. I think that's good enough honestly.
I would only buy from the official website. Oppo sold the OnePlus One when it first came out and there were a few issues with the units. Even from a major distributer that. That being said, I would not buy from some one who said they "won" a device. People who are excites about the new phone are bound to take pictures. This person could easily get there hands on those pictures and pass them off as their own.

Yeah, I'd buy from them, but I can't. Their website doesn't work. I'll talk to support tomorrow again but if none of my cards work IDK what i'm going to do.
They are normally pretty adamant with their support. They responded when I broke my One withing two days. They should respond pretty quickly. Good luck!
Looks like I made the right call, the guy stopped responding after I asked for IMEI. I was finally able to order the phone from the website and with priority shipping it came in 4 days. Thanks guys
Hi,
I was wondering you anyone has order from Any sellers from Aliexpress, thinking primarily of Top-One, Goldway to europe. I know some sellers have relay services to get it toll free into EU (although it's a moot point for me since I live in Norway).
What are your experiences especially shipping with DHL? Did it go painlessly?
How are your experiences with DHL and customs?
Do chinese sellers declare low value? If so, does it get stopped in customs?
Should I explicitly ask to declare normal value in order to not have customs problems?

Toll charges comes about a week later in a letter from DHL.
DHL always charge you for the tax. Their policy prohibits the sellers from under-marking the item value and they calculate it in advance rather than waiting for the UK, Germany, France etc to review the shipment and apply any charges.
The seller could technically get around it by creating a second invoice with a lower value and using that for the customs paperwork but then can complicate matters when it comes to returns and other things.

Ordering from TopOne has no problems with VAT or anything else. They send the phone from HK to UK, and sign for it. Then they package it and send it to an address inside EU. Confirmed with 3 phones so far.

Yeah unfortunately their prices are a little expensive for my taste though. Including shipping the phone costs around $30-40 more from them than it does from any other seller.

My mi Max was $303 for 64gb version so I think this was a good price considering every other store was around 340-370 when I was getting it and shipping around 50.
Shipping on TopOne was 26 every time.
So all in all it was a good deal.

Mi Max
I ordered my Mi Max from xiaomidevice on a Monday and got it the following Monday using DHL..came a day earlier as Tuesday was suppose to be the delivery date..glad I was home to pick it up
My buddys family goes back and forth to China and they picked me up a 128GB Helium for $313 USD.
I ordered from Carry-it electronics with DHL. Major error!
They didnt declare anything so i had to pay 46 euros to dutch customs first to even get my phone.
Afther 7 weeks now the phone went completely black.... Dead. It still was stock..... On directions of Carry it i took it to local phone store...15 euros to check it. Mainboard defect! Not repairable by them. Carry it doesnt believe me so they avoid any responsibility. I should sent it back and make more costs... No way. First make more costs to customs because of their error.... Then 15 euros to check the phone... And then ship it anyway......
Folks.... Don't do business with Carri-it
I ordered from my Mi Max from Top One, price I think was 272 dollars total, to Czech Republic. 64GB version. Very smooth transaction, received it one week later via DHL, no customs, no hassle, they even put Google Play on it. Would gladly deal with them again.
Issue right now is that out of the box I know they don't support all the LTE bands in Europe and I am trying to find if someone has a patch that will unlock them. I am getting about 12Mb/sec, which while not as bad as my first test which as a horrible 1MB, still far from what LTE can be. Outside of that, what a great phone, easy on the eyes, fast, and great battery.
Phone came with 7.32 or something MIUI. Unless the MIUI that is out there includes more LTE bands, I am not going to chance updating right now, just my preference.
Officially MI max 128gb GB is not available.. Can anyone recommend be a website in Hong Kong where I can buy MI max 128gb? Plus some accessories
Hi All -
I purchased a Mi Mix 2s in White from GearBest back on May 14th. I still don't have the device, in fact, it took until the 3rd of July for it to ship due to some kind of problem with the white model shipments that GearBest was receiving. The shipment has been sitting in HK based on the tracking information from 4px, and based on what I found online, the average shipment time from HK for 4px is apparently 52 days. Does anyone else have any feedback on this process? I couldn't change the shipping on this device when it was ordered, they weren't allowing any other shipment method, or I would've paid for some other kind of expedited shipping.
Am I really looking at delivery at the beginning of September?
What do the supplier say? Sometimes the shipment gets delayed, or misplaced. Just had a shipment from Ali, that stopped in Chinese customs, and was returned to the seller. If I had not communicated with the seller, none of us would have known. They resent my order. (not a phone, but).
Sent fra min Mi MIX 2 via Tapatalk
GearBest replied to my inquiry saying shipping is outside their control and that they do not have any more information than what was provided on a tracking site they use (less than using the 4px page). I guess it's just a waiting game now. Phone didn't move from the 4px facility since the day they picked it up from GearBest.

GearBest is normally quite good. If you used PayPal cancel it or file a dispute. I think the time limit is 60 days for a dispute but if you never received it that's different. Either way, never buy from any Chinese vendor that doesn't accept PayPal.

I bought mine from AliExpress, which doesn't have PayPal but I trust them. I placed loads of orders and never had any issues. My mix 2 was shipped from Singapore to UK and it was delivered in 15 days. It would have been delivered faster but it got stuck at Heathrow and had to pay custom's which was about 12£.

Mine showed "despatched" (yes, typoed) on the 4px page and SingPost tracking page. Bound for LAX according to that via air, but that was 3 days ago. USPS says they don't offer tracking for packages from Singapore Post anymore, and nothing's been updated. Still hoping it gets here, but we'll see. It's been so long between order and actual shipment that I don't think Paypal will do anything at this point.
2018-07-10 18:40 USLAX / Despatched to overseas
2018-07-10 18:08 HK / Hand over to airline.

Well, been buying for several years from Ali, no problems at all. One does have to be a bit patient, as the seller does not have any control over the shipping company, other than checking up delays. Ali has always refunded me if I have opened a dispute. (Happened with 3 of maybe 200 orders..). Most sellers will answer you politely,if they're difficult, open a dispute or complain... Many are very small shops connected to the bigger ones, as AliExpress, Banggood, Gearbest, etc.
