S4 Mini Dead - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello ,
So yesterday i dropped my phone and after i picked it up and put it back together the phone started up in safe mode and the loud speaker was probably damaged because it was wheezing ( dont know if thats how you say it i just translated it ), so i wanted to turn off the safe mode and the phone asked to be restarted i pressed OK and after that the phone didnt turn back on . I was trying to power it up but nohting was happening so i went home and tryied to put in on the charger but nothing happened either. The screen wont start up , no vibrating , nothing. I tried to remove the battery, sd card, boot it in to the recovery/download mode , plugging it to PC and i dont get any response at all. Could someone help me with it or should i just throw it to trash and give up with it ?
Thanks for all your answers.
Edit: I forgot to tell that the phone on the outside has no scratch at all only the battery seems to have like little holes in it , and that i tryied to let the phone without battery for like 3hours and put the battery in and nothing happened, also tryied to let the phone on charger overnight and nothing too , the battery was cold like if it wasnt charging at all , could the battery cause this ?

T-Mobile Dash wont turn on!!!!!

My dash froze up on me the other day. So I pulled the battery and inserted it right back into the device. Now it wont turn on. I get nothing. Wont even do a hard reset. I pulled the battery and waited 24 hours. Still wont turn on. Any ideas? I checked the battery in a friends dash so I know it isn't the battery.
Same problem
My battery was low and the Dash turned off..
I turned it on and it booted up and then booted down again.
Went to put on charger and it wouldnt charge.. then it wouldnt boot ever again.
Got a new battery from the T-mobile store from a display model so it was charged..
But it wouldnt boot at all.. The Cell Phone repair company in my area ( www.cellphonerepairvirginia.com ) has tried everything and got nothing.. They even reflowed the board, and checked for broken connectors and more..
NOTHING.. it just wont turn on.

Anyone ?
Any idea where to even look?
Is there a way to hard reset the thing?

CD, is your phone still under the warranty? Please explain the scenario before your phone started acting awkward. Did you do any system tweaks? IF so which ones did you do and when did you begin to notice any strange behavior?

Have you try connecting the Dash to a computer and see if you get any signal from it?

If the flashing procedure is interrupted then there could be a high chance that the ROM is corrupted and there's no way for the phone to boot up or reflash by itself (the installer warns you about it before flashing the ROM). Only the manufacture can reflash the ROM with a special device/cable.
The only thing you can do is send it in for warranty or sell it on ebay for parts.
Ya I know... Thats why when I hit it I was like ahh F... Anyway, I have one last idea .. thanks

[Q] Wont Boot just Flashes a dim Blue pules in notification area

i fell asleep and forgot to plug my phone in the charger and i woke up to a dead phone and i figured the battery just died ,
so i plugged it in and nothing happend so i set it down and went to work , when i got home it was still dead and no sign of life so i plugged it in over night and when i woke up it now had a really dim blue light pulsing in the top right hand corner but wouldn't respond to anything ,
it wont boot normally , download mode or into recover mode and my PC wont read it at all but it will make that blue light pules when plugged in like it does when its plugged into the charger .
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this myself WITHOUT going to sprint ?
Or is this a total brick ?
Any suggestions will help ...
Sounds like a battery thats been drained too bad. It doesn't sound bricked. I would get another battery from sprint or amazon. Flashing blue is battery drained beyond repair(in most cases, some have brought the battery back using an external charger as well as just letting it charge). Solid blue no flashing is a brick.
sent from MY BAD A$$ ET4G
i have one replacement batter i got off eBay that got the phone to fully boot and act normal then it did the same thing in a matter of hours , i don't know if the phone is doing this to the battery's or i just got a bad battery off eBay
this happens to me from time to time when i forget to charge it.messing with it n removing the battery a few times gets it back to normal for me though. maybe this is just a symptom of a bug that isnt well known yet

Phone just went dead for no reason

I was watching some tv and wanted to check the clock on the phone.. No problems turned it off again .. Then 5 mins later i wanted to check facebook but this time nothing happened when i pressed the power button. I tried holding it down for 10 seconds.. Nothing.. Holding down volume down + power button for 10 secs.. Still nothing.. Then i plugged in the charger which also gave me nothing at all, not even LED's lid up! Plugging the device into my computer yields nothing either not even a "USB device attached" sound from the pc..
Is there anything i can do or did the phone just kill it self? I would also like to point out that the battery was around 50% when this happened..
Took the device apart and measured the voltage on the battery. 3.9 volts, so its not the batterys fault it seems. I've let the device aside without the battery plugged into it. Later today i will see if it gets back to life when i plug the battery back in, but im not gonna get my hopes up..
I had JUST replaced the screen on the device 5 days prior to this.... Why couldnt this have happend before i had changed the screen
Alright after placing the battery back into the device today and it still doesnt do anything my conclusion is that the device is simply dead unless someone else has suggestions.. What a shame
dude go to service and see what they have to say..100% is motherboard.

I ended up buying another cheap One X with a faulty battery and cracked lcd.. Took its motherboard, and used my lcd and battery and now the device is working again so yeah you were right.. It was the motherboard.. But i noticed that the motherboard i got was blue where the one that was not working was green.. Does this mean anything?

Bricked LG G3 and need to get files off :(

Hi guys, seems i never learn my lesson on backing up.
Well my g3 had died a few times on me, each time getting progressively worse. Last time i ended up replacing the battery and it was fine.
This time i was just using my phone and it died. Then wouldnt turn on. Battery was atleast 80% but still thats the first thing i did. Ran out and bought a new battery but still the same issue.
Tried everything listed including trying to get into the hard reset menu, but i get no response from the phone, not even a light. Tried the battery out and start button on for min then plug in charger or battery and still the same (no response).
Ok left it over night and the next day i tried plugging it in without the battery, it switched on and complained about the battery. SWEET !! so i plug in the battery and then pressed the on button. Phone loaded up after what i thought was a loop in the boot up but then the main screen wouldnt respond. No response to buttons, swipe (no password) or double tap.
So i tried restarting the phone. Back to the old problem.
Tried this again this morning after leaving it without battery in over night i got the same response but didnt get as far before the phone died itself.
Any ideas what to try next ? If not would anyone know how i can buy a working one and get the data off this one (if possible) as i have quite a few shots of my little one i would like to get off.
thanks in advance.

LG G3 is my phone dead?

Hello. Im sure there is plenty of such topics in the forum, but I believe, that my case is specific and I hope we could resurrect my phone somehow together.
So last night I just send a WhatsApp VoiceMessage to my friend as suddenly my phone started shutting down, just like if it had 0-2% battery power... But it actually had over 40% battery life... I thought ok, yeah, might be battery, so I plugged in the original charger and the phone didn't show any signs of being alive. Then I've unplugged charger, toke battery out, plugged charger back in and I saw that its still alive, telling me "please put the battery in, there is nothing inside me to be charged". So I placed battery back to the phone and guess what.... It shows no signs of being alive again, the battery wouldnt charge... Then out of panic I started to do random stuff like holding power button for 10secs for soft restart, holding power button and volume down button for what ever that was... Plugging charger in and out like crazy... The phone was just dead! So I had to give up... I toke the battery out and let the phone lay for like I dont know 2-3 hours. Later on, I came back, put battery inside and tried power button + volume down again.... woohoo!! , it worked, my phone started to boot! I thought this is it! Hes alive again, but ahahaha.... 6-7 secons during the boot, it just turned off immediatly. I thought yeah, must be battery, so I order new, original LG G3 battery... And while the order was on his way to me, I managed to charge the old battery after letting the phone lay for 2-3 hours and then plugging charger in again. It started to charge... I let it go up to 66% I believe and tried to turn on the phone again.... Guess now what? LG intro screen poped-up and the in left corner I just saw something with "boot error blah blah geeky stuff" and suddenly red and blue LED started to blink, red/blue/red/blue/etc... and the screen just turned off.... I couldnt do anything.... So I removed battery again and waited for my order... Next day I got no success turning my phone on with new battery.... I was playing around with different button combinations and remove/put battery and conclusion is.... The phone is dead except if you let lay without battery for few minutes... Then you can start charging battery for example... After that you can try to boot it, but it will just shut down immediatly after few seconds. Or you can try to boot it, but again, it will shut down immediatly and then you cant do anything until you let it lay without battery. I also managed to access recovery mode but I didnt start it, because I would like to get at least my data back somehow.... The phone is not that important as the data on it. I also tried to access download mode, for recovering my data, but without success....
LG G3 D855 Europe version
Lollipop 5.0 OTA version
Not rooted, Not modified
Any help would be really appreciated. If its impossible to resurrect the phone, can I save at least my data somehow? What would I try, please?
[Edit]
I just tried to start factory reset for sake of god.... Found some data recovery software on the internet, that might help after factory reset, but phone just shut down immediatly after I confirmed that I want to reset and nooow.... I see the LG logo like it would try to boot for already 20minutes and nothing happens

Thats what it appears normally when this happens a new battery is most of the time the fix....
Only other recommendations are try different usb cables and charging blocks....
As well as if you did not purchase a legitimate G3 battery I would try to purchase a new oem battery....There are cheaper aftermarket ones But I am one the the stick to oem type To many quality control issues imo...
I know Lg dont have the best track record for quality control either.....
