[Q] Bootloop with stock firmware and usb debug off - Galaxy Note 3 Neo Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have a stock Galaxy Note 3 Neo, I bought it 6 months ago so I have more than a year of warranty. All of a sudden the device didn't boot up, but it got stuck at the boot logo. I tried to erase the cache from recovery but it kept getting stuck at samsung logo. Usb debugging is off, so the computer doesn't see the device, even when I try with adb. I have many files that I need for work and don't want to loose, so I don't want to do a factory reset. I know that I could fix the problem by installing a custom recovery, but I don't want to risk loosing warranty. Do you think there is a solution to recover my data? Maybe a way to enable usb debug from the computer or somenthing? I know that it's a desperate case and that I have to do a factory reset, but I believe in you and your experience
Thank you in advance

Desperate Help Needed!

So I am the proud owner of a shiny, new Galaxy Nexus (GSM). Unlocked the bootloader and installed CWM recovery and was doing great. Today I decided to install the volume fix. Installed the zip through recovery, completed and rebooted. The phone got stuck in a bootloop over and over and over and over and would not boot Android at all. Did a ton of research here and everywhere and, in a panic, I booted into CWM recovery, reset the cache & did a full factory reset. NOW, the phone will not go past the Google bootscreen with the unlock symbol, no matter what I do. AND, I can't even flash the original google image because I can't get in to set USB debugging so my computer won't even recognize the phone (FYI, I'm on a Mac). I am at a complete loss and don't know what to do. If I could only get the computer to recognize the phone I could flash the original google image through Terminal, but alas, I can't. Any ideas? If I can somehow get this phone back up and running I would be eternally grateful. For now, I think I may be SOL. Thanks....
This happened to me, I was not able to solve the issue, even though I could push and pull data to and from the device via ADB. I could still not get past the google logo. I decided to lock the boot loader again and return to the store for a new device.

Galaxy Neuxs Encryption woes!!!

Hey All,
New to XDA but been using this site years so my level of Android knowledge is not bad.
I am currently having a huge problem with my Nexus. I used Google Apps encryption on it recently and that seems to have bricked my phone. I am unable to reset to factory settings to wipe the encryption as recommended by Google and I am stuck now with a bricked Nexus.
I also tried flashing stock roms with Odin which appears to work but the encryption still remains. All I am trying to do is put the stock back on my phone and re-root but I am having no joy. When using CWM to flash a new rom the system does not mount in recovery mode so I can't load any other roms. I have also tried the fastboot method but it stalls on waiting for device all the time.
If anyone has seen this and can help or if anyone just knows how to fix it please help me! I am stuck now with a useless Nexus. I should have just left it alone but as usual I couldn't.
Any help would be so appreciated. Thank you.
By some chance is your phone both rooted with CWM?
Hey, yeah it was so when I did a factory reset it could'nt use the stock bootloader so it didn't know how to wipe it. Unfortunetly once you apply encryption from a Google Apps the only way to remove is to factory reset.
I got around it by fastbooting the stock bootloader, radio and image from Google. Then I completed a manual reset using the original bootloader.
A world of hurt really! I have learned a lot but never going near Google Apps encryption again. It also slowed down the phone too.
Anyhow all sorted now, re rooted and running revolution rom now.
theres another thread with a guy who had the same problem. I wonder if vzw nexus has an issue with encrypting...
If the phone wasn't rooted I would have had no issues. It is simply a problem when it comes to loading roms. In CWM the recovery cant mount the data/system so you can't flash anything. Also doing a factory reset from settings doesnt work because the phone is looking for a stock bootloader which it doesn't have once you root. So I ended up in a loop and could do nothing. Fortunetly I learned all about adb and fastboot this morning, never heard of them before and that allowed me to reload stock and unroot. I still had to wipe the phone using the bootloader as I couldn't get into the phone or past the encryption.
If anyone is having issues with this I will gladly help as I really thought that my phone was bricked and was very frustrated. The only way I got help was from a guy on this tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1392037&page=3

[Q] Factory Reset Bootloop

Hello, all. I've had this problem for about a year, but I just kind of put the KF away once I got it replaced instead of fixing it.
Last year, I put my KF into a softbrick, factory reset bootloop. On boot, the KF warns:
Your Kindle has detected a problem and must clear App storage. The recovery process will erase some apps and data from your device.

The rest is the generic factory reset info. Press power to proceed. This looks like it goes through the process, restarts, and just boots back up into this message. Thus, bootloop. I've tried looking up others with the same problem, but no one has had the same one I mention. I don't have a custom bootloader or TWRP.
As for what caused this, if i can remember correctly I was having trouble with google apps permissions and changed a folder in /system/ to something else. The fire freaked out and I rebooted it. The above has happened ever since. So the only modification is being rooted. I've tried getting access to adb, but it hasn't listed the device. Maybe I installed the drivers wrong or something, but I didn't mess with it for long because I don't like being in Windows if I can help it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not in too big of a hurry, though, as I have a Nexus 7 currently. ^.^
Get a factory cable to force it into fastboot so you can flash a new bootloader and twrp , then flash a new rom. You can also attempt to race it to factory reset and reset it some have success.

I knew about fastboot, I should have mentioned. I just don't have the money to spend on one currently. What do you mean by attempt to race it to factory reset and reset it?
Just what I said you have just a little time to race to settings and factory reset it before it fc`s and shuts down some people manage to pull it off.

S20 Ultra exynos stock OS stuck in boot loop. Data recovery?

Hi Guys,
As the title says my S20 Ultra has managed to get itself stuck in a boot loop as of last night. I can boot into recovery mode, download mode and safe mode. When booted into safe mode it will stay on the home screen fine. However if i try to unlock the phone to use it, it crashes and reboots into a bootloop.
If I just plug in a usb to access the files via usb in safe mode before the phone is unlocked the phone is not detected (device manager detects a samsung device but nothing in file explorer most likely because the usb services haven't started up yet and won't until the phone is unlocked).
Im sure a factory reset will solve the bootloop issue but I don't want to lose the date on the phone until it's backed up (recently renovated our house and I have pictures on there of before and afters I would like to keep).
Is there a method I could use to get the data back other then sending the phone off to a recovery service? Maybe something that doesn't void the warranty of the phone but if there is no other choice I would consider voiding the warranty. I used to install custom roms on all my old android phones but never felt the need to on this one. I'm fairly tech savvy so am Just looking for ideas.
Cheers

Try flashing the same firmware you're currently running using Odin and HOME_CSC to keep your data, possible it will replace and fix the corrupted files causing the bootloop
So last night I tried what you have mentioned. It didn't change anything unfortunately.
I then thought it might be worth trying an older firmware. I tried rolling back to the previous firmware and then to android 10. Both of these ended up making things worse and it would boot loop at the android startup screen.
Luckily I managed to get back into Odin mode and put the current firmware back on and I'm now back to square one.
OK so I have had a thought. I've seen that some people have managed to establish a USB connection to thier device through TWRP and managed to backup their data through that. I've also seen that on older phones you can use odin to only flash TWRP and then boot into it. I'm not sure if things have changed drastically and you are unable to do that on the S20 ultra now. After my data (pictures and videos) was backed up I could then reflash the recovery back to stock and do a factory reset to fix the bootloop.
Does this seem plausible?

Question Stock on loading screen factory locked - Bricked - can any data be saved at this point?

Hey folx, you seem to be my only hope!
My stock Android factory locked Moto got out of sudden into a loading screen loop. I learned it got bricked without me even trying to anything at all to the phone. Problem is that I cannot do a factory reset as there is lot of important unbacked up data. Unfortunately USB debugging is disabled and I cannot even load up recovery mode. The only place I can go to is fastboot, but I cannot use ADB.
Is there any slightest chance my data can still be saved somehow? Tried Googling up all day, but would not find a solution to the problem. Have no idea that a stock android phone can generate a load loop. I am pretty desperate. Please help!
Thanks
Six
I have a similar problem. Did you find a fix or solution? Please share, I'm pretty desparate too
I'm in the same boat, I used orange fox's bootloader by accident, switched slots and now Im stuck on the fallback bootloader
Guys even I have the same problem I can't even boot into fastboot or recovery mode. Oh and USB Debugging is off and Bootloader is Locked. Pls help
