Is anyone else seeing faint horizontal lines on their screen? When the phone is off and a bright light is hitting the screen I can see a series of horizontal lines, which I know is the digitizer. The problem is I also see these lines come through when the screen is on, it's especially noticeable on whites. Just curious to know whether this is an isolated issue or other g4 owners are experiencing this as well.
Similar to the experience this user has had with his phone, looking straight on in any kind of light I see these horizontal lines: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748444
I tried looking very hard on a white background, but can't see anything like that.

Hey guys, I've been having some weird issues with my screen lately. I started noticing a lot of spots and weird lines all over my screen (they are dark, I don't really think it's light bleeding). In the darkest areas of the wallpaper, you can clearly see these random misshapen patches of black, is if my screen has bruises. You can see it really well in low light, and even better with nothing but the backlight on. I did some research and found out that many Galaxy S2 phones have that, all across carriers. I just wanted to know if anyone here had a similar issue and how they handled it. For now, I am planning to get this phone replaced.
So much for one of the best and vibrant screens on the market. What a waste of $230

Hey,
I got my Galaxy Nexus and want to know, how I can check the most common issues with my screen? Which are the most common issues? Which issue say that my screen is defective? Which "issue" is rather normal.
(I see little lines in grayer background, is that normal?)
Defective would e stuck, dead pixels on full screen colors brighter darker dots, but with this DPI you would need to strain a little to see one and one issue that I have seen from a friend is the screen started to peel off (I guess the digitizer from the LCD)they replaced his phone
Normal would be the persistent image that AMOLED has go to the market for example wait a little then scroll to the right and you can see lines on the screen for 0-2 seconds
Hope this helps
My moto 360 seems to have a grey ish patch above the bezel which is visible on a white background when the watch screen is dim. I'm wondering if it's a defect or if other people have the same thing - here are the best pictures I could get: http://i.imgur.com/qYIo84F.jpg [1]

Look just below "Sun 9" and above the bezel, and the white looks muddier, almost grey. It's more noticeable in person. It's always like that on a dim brightness, when the brightness is high it looks perfectly white.
Do other people have this too?
I believe I have a very very small spot kind of like yours. They are typically caused by uneven pressure on the LCD screen. If mine has a spot like that it is just above the flat tire, I can't always see it and nobody else can. I have no stuck or dead pixels so it doesn't really bother me.
When displaying a pure black image on the p2 the bottom left 1/3 of screen has a slight yellow glow to it when you look at it in a dark room. The same area looks more warmer than the rest when displaying grey. Anyone else noticed this? From searching around I've seen complaints about similar issues on some other amoled screens on nokia, oneplus, lg etc. So much for amoled showing pure black, if you want that it looks like you have to get a samsung phone. It's still better when compared to IPS but the uneven tone can be annoying.

I noticed this in dark environment, this is mostly visible when you pull down notification bar, I don't know the reason but noticed this - not a major issue.
Hi, I recently just got this phone and everything seems to work fine apart from the visible grid pattern I'm seeing on the screen, I know this has been brought up already but most people say they can only see this on white or lighter backgrounds, I only noticed it on white backgrounds myself at first but now I'm noticing it to a lesser extent on most solid colours, I cant see it on anything that has some sort of pattern or detail, just solid colours mostly, anyone else noticing it?
Mine has this pattern too but I only notice it if I'm really looking for it, and it's only visible on white and very light grey solid backgrounds.
