Hello! Yesterday LG G3 Stylus got an upgrade to Android 5.0.2. After that GPS stopped working, it doesn't see any satellites, and won't locate the device. Does anybody know how to fix it?
i have similar issue. Google Maps works but sygic can not get GPS position. I reinstalled sygic but it didn't help.
I installed "GPS Status Test & Fix - No Ads". Then I did a "Reset GPS" and "Get Xtra data". This have solved my issue.

Having a weird issue with my new Telus LG Optimus 7. I'm unable to get a lock in Bing Maps or get directions. ScanSearch works perfectly fine, it detects everything near by - but MAPS will not lock....
Anyone experience this?
NM - figured it out. You need to enable Wireless in order for Maps to locate you or provide Directions.

Just wanted to check if any of you have had issues with the GPS/Maps?
I have a weird problem where apps like Facebook/Foursquare/Whatsapp are not able to obtain my location. It just stalls "waiting for location"
Whether I have GPS turned on or off it's the same problem
However when I load the Maps app, it is able to obtain my location without any issues, which is weird
Anyone else facing this problem?
When I turn on gps app (google map, navigation, gps test, navigon etc) , they all show 'searching for gps' something, and there is not a gps icon on the top left status bar.
I used to have the same issue on 4.1.1 , then I googled it and uncheck and recheck the 'let google use location' something in settings, the gps is back. But the other day, I upgraded to 4.1.2, and the issue came back and I can not solve it using the same way.
Could anyone help?

I recently installed CyanogenMod 11 FXP339 with the GApps mini package on an Xperia M2 dual C2005 and have noticed that I can't get a GPS fix in Google Maps but do get a fix within a few seconds in Navigator and GPS test. If I switch between Maps and GPS test I notice that GPS status is always "no fix" when returning to GPS test, but is set to "3D fix" in a few seconds. If I switch between GPS test and AndroiTS GPS Test there's seems to be a fix from the start.
The location setting is on and set to "High precision" (GPS, WiFi and mobile).
If I set location to "unit only" (GPS only) I get no positioning at all in Maps, but Navigation and the test apps still position.
I've seen this GPS fix thread but it seems to be for general GPS problems, while in my case it's only one app (Google Maps) that has this problem.
Has anyone else seen this and what can be done about it? I don't remember having this problem on the stock ROM.

Google Maps App and German Railways works fine.
Google Maps opened in Firefox does not neither.
Checked with the app GPS Status from the app store but ist not getting any position.
Anyone have the same issues or maybe a fix to this Problem?
Tried everything from Google Search (LG GPS Issues/Android GPS Issues)
Would like to prevent a fatory reset.

I had the same problem. A few weeks after updating to Android 9 (without factory reset) gps via hw stopped working. Reset solved it.
Had the same problem a few months back. I needed to reflash the firmware and maybe a factory reset.
Thanks. Somehow it has to be the Software. Tried something Else but only a factory reset has helped. Did it two das ago and now IT works better than before.
