Hello guys.
I need a help!
My cell phone is LG G Optimus Pro F240K (Korea Version).
I was setting up Android on the "Hidden Menu" through the code "3845 #*240#" when my Back and Menu Button are disabled. The lights come on, but when you touch doesn't is executed the function.

anyone no which to choose in the windows folder so i can set my left soft key to lock the phone??
thanks
Why not go to the options of battery status -> tools and DeviceLock on Wake up, check lock if display is off and vice versa.
Then all you need to do to lock is hit the power button, very effective.
Cheers
Matt
Or..
...get Slide2Unlock - search the forum for that
devicelock and remapsoftkeys ?
You can find a tool here on xda-dev: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=305402&highlight=DeviceLock.zip

i never used this tool but it sounds good for your problem.
If you want to replace a softkey and you can't with this tool - use remapsoftkeys:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1060151&postcount=1 and you're done...
But what brings this button on the screen ?
why don't just push the hardware button on the right side of the phone and your display is out = phone is locked ?
IMHO i think it's useless
cause if the power botton for the screen is pushed on the side the wi-fi connection drops and it conects via gprs to msn so i wana soft key to push (quicker than the apps the lock fone through the home screen )
i just need to no which one in the windows folder would control that ??
thanks

Isn't it the DeviceLock-Tool you're searching for ? It's the same effect with
this app...the 'original' built-in phone lock - no idea where it is stored...
Just curious. how are you experiencing the NFC performance?
- distance at witch it works
- types of tags recognized?
I ordered two xperia smarttags from amazon, I'll let you know when I try them out.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Also looking forward to your feedback.
Thanks in advance.
Sooo, I got my XPERIA SmartTags today

After installing two Sony apps, I just had to swipe the tag on the back of the phone to go to the tag settings:
As you can see different actions can be set to be automatically executed whenever the mode is turned on (smarttag) or off (manually). The actions available are:
Turn bluetooth on/off
Turn cellular data on/off
Turn wi-fi on/off
connect to a specified bluetooth device (headset for example)
launch an app
open a webpage
make a phone call
send an sms/mms
post a FB message
speak current time
speak messages
set sound mode (normal, silent, loud)
set volume settings for media, ringtone/notifications and alarms.
The tags are detected from ~2cm and they still work when my TPU case is on. The back cover should be on in order to get NFC to work so anyone who's planning on using third party covers should make sure that they are NFC-enabled.
One more thing, NFC won't work when the screen is off neither on the lockscreen. I guess this is how NFC work in android in order to increase security (but I remember reading somewhere on xda that there is a workaround for rooted devices).
I hope that this little review helped you.
Hi Guys ,
finished testing it and it working good , check it out
TeXTe (Sounds like texti) is a very simple and straightforward emergency SMS app.
With TeXTe you can set-up a code word that will start a high volume alarm sound whenever someone who knows the code word will send it to you via SMS .
So in case of an emergency, your : husband / wife / son / daughter / friend / pet.
Can send you a text message containing the code word and get your immediate attention, even if you are in a meeting with your phone on silent mode, or you just forgot your phone on vibrate...
TeXTe's features :
- The high volume alarm will start even if the phone is in silent \ vibrate mode
- The code word can be sent from any phone ( if your phone is broken or drained of battery)
- Simple and easy to use UI
- Compatible with 2.2 or later
** may not work well with GoSMS pro / handcent etc...
If you have problems with the app please let me know and i'll fix it .
Enjoy !

Hi everybody, let me present you SpyKit, and app designed for taking spy pictures in a very simple yet powerful way!
The motivation was to address the main problems in most of the existing spy cameras: lack of polisheness and counter intuitive user interfaces.
Right now this is the only spy camera that works when you screen is truly turned off!
How to use it?
The first thing you have to do is activate it through the main switch in the upper right corner. You can also put a widget in your desktop for quickly enable it.
Then there two ways you can use the app:
-> Using your device buttons. (PLAY, PAUSE, VOLUME UP/DOWN)
By default all buttons are mapped to the Single Picture Action.
-> Using the Motion Detection feature.
By default motion detection is mapped to the Continuous Shooting Action
You, of course, can change this mappings at the settings screen.
SpyKit, by default, displays a floating preview which you can drag and resize as you like. It allows you to keep using your other apps while the preview is active!.
If you don't want the preview to be shown, you can disable it at the settings screen.

We are trying to make a good quality app and we would love to hear what you think what we have built so far, from new ideas to even translation things (we are not native english speakers).
Thank you all!
I am still debating which version of the Note 4 to go with. AT&T claims there is a setting for HD voice somewhere in the menus. Can anyone confirm this? I am really interested to know if the phone can make calls over LTE.
yes i can confirm HD voices work

OK. So you enable it that way but are the calls actually going over LTE? I know AT&T is currently testing it in a few markets but that doesn't necessarily mean you can access it without the appropriate feature codes on the back end.
Maybe if you take a screenshot of your data counters and then make a call for a few minutes and then look at the data counters again to see if anything related to telephony shows up?
