I am still debating which version of the Note 4 to go with. AT&T claims there is a setting for HD voice somewhere in the menus. Can anyone confirm this? I am really interested to know if the phone can make calls over LTE.

OK. So you enable it that way but are the calls actually going over LTE? I know AT&T is currently testing it in a few markets but that doesn't necessarily mean you can access it without the appropriate feature codes on the back end.
Maybe if you take a screenshot of your data counters and then make a call for a few minutes and then look at the data counters again to see if anything related to telephony shows up?

In the keynote, they demo that we can answer or hangup the call straight from the notification.
how do i set that? everytime when i receive a call, the whole screen is being populated with the dialer app and the home button disabled.

They said you can 'hangup' from the notification - not initiate a call. You can also return to your call from the notification.
but there are sample image showing that is possible. (i just rewatch the keynote and realized i remembered it wrong)
but how about this image?

That is a mockup. Notice there is no icon to clear notifications in the top right?
That said...has anyone tried hitting the home button when a call comes in and see if that is where this feature comes in handy? Does it show up in the pull down then?
Are you already using the phone when you get the call? Works for me that way
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
or maybe we need to wait till mid july for the official release.. then they have it?
Hello all,
Tried searching for this but couldn't find anything. I just flashed to CM9 but I can't figure out how to connect to WiFi. I have WiFi turned on but no pop ups for networks found.

Menu->System Settings. Wifi should be the top option. Give it a touch, select your desired network, and it should be similar to the pop up from there
I walk on toilet paper cuz I'm the s###!
nope didnt work.
the wifi option is on like i said but no network popup comes up like on the official releases. is there a manual network search button for CM9?

That's strange, that screen shot is from my T-Mobile S6 Edge.
It's there on mine as well
Looks like you may not be running a T-Mobile Edge, is that correct? Maybe the International Firmware is different.

That's most likely the culprit
Has anyone found a work around for the call start/end tones on sm-n920f. Its not an option to remove like it was on the s5 and its bugging me no end.
+1
Settings>Applications>Phone>Call Alerts>Call Status Tones. Hope this helps!
I'm looking for the phone menu in the HTC that will let me know if it's doing carrier aggregation. Verizon says they're doing it in many of their zones but I have no way to verify. It will have something in the menu like "CA:ADDED, SC_NUM:3" but I currently can't find a menu that would have this.
*#*#3424#*#* shows me the testing menu.
I use viper and looked in the "hidden HTC Info menu" in venom tweaks but it doesn't show this information either.
Any other ideas?

You need to be rooted...

No root here, so no luck.
It's working!
You have the 4G+ icon, and when you start a speedtest and really need more speed it activates the 2nd frequency automatically.
The thing is... Stuff is still WAY to slow.. on 4g Only I get about 20-40mbps ~.~
Anyone knows of a way to deactivate CA?
Yes, if you have the + that means it's carrier aggregated. That's on LOS/AOSP. Not sure about sense.

Incomming calls cannot be recognized. Most of incomming calls (it not depends on he/shi is or not in my phone contacts) are recognised as "Unknown"
How can I solve this problem?
I had the same problem with another ROM.
For this I had to deactivate VolLTE.
VOLTE/VOWIFI profile was set propably incorrect by phone.
to set it right I must change profile with code:
*#*#663368378#*#*
Then - MBN config loading and activating tool
Then : search for your country operator and select
Choose - All_SUB
Then click on - Act
Wait few sec
Your operator settings will be activated and stored
Incomming calls will be recognised again
This trick works on my phone with Xiaomi.Eu roms
Not working on my phone. I get the attached screen.

I do not see any setting about VoLTE in any menu.
Can you please explain where did you deactivate it?
