[Q] D855 shuts itself down when I receive call. Why? - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi! My phone keeps shutting itself down when I receive calls. Well not all the time but, it happens a lot lately. It just rings for a second and shut itself down, when I turn it on, there is nothing in call log. No way to tell who called, very annoying.
It started to happen on CM-based roms. Resurrection Remix and Darkobas, that's why I went back to stock. There was no problem for days (when it happened, it happened everyday at least once) but for the last couple of days, it started to happen again.
Does anyone have this problem? Any solutions?

Odd vibrate problem

My Desire (Orange Uk) decided to stop vibrating the other day. Nothing could make it vibrate - I tried emailing it, changing the profile to vibrate-only, locking the phone and moving my finger over the little circles to unlock (the phone usually vibrates a little as you pass over each one), phoning voicemail (the phone vibrates as a call is answered) and powering off and on. Then, suddenly, about 15 mins after I powered on it started working again. Has anyone else had this? Perhaps you have a quicker way of getting it working again?
Update: Since then, it refuses to vibrate for phone calls/text messages/emails. I'm told I can do a factory reset and that might fix it. I don't really want to, though - not every time this happens. Any one else had this and managed to fix it?

Gnex randomly shutting off?

So... maybe someone else can help me out here. My phone started doing this really cool thing about a week ago where it will just shut off out the blue. I've been scouring Google for similar problems, but cannot find anything. Lots of people complaining about reboots or sleep of death, but not hard shut downs. I don't have to pull the battery to reboot or anything, and it's not restarting, it just shuts off.
Sometimes it will only do it once or twice a day, other times it will do it 5+ times an hour. There seems to be no pattern to it either. Sometimes I will just pick up my phone and its off. Sometimes I will be listening to music with it in my pocket and it goes out. Quite a few times I've been texting or something and watched it just shut off.
It was right around when I flashed AOKP M5, so I assumed it might be that. I tried a new kernel first, which didn't help. Today I flashed MIUI, hoping it would fix my problem, but nope. Still getting reboots. So it does not seem ROM related.
Anything else I should try before trying to get my phone replaced? Who would the warranty even be through. I bought the phone from Amazon wireless. Them? Verizon? Samsung?
go back to complete stock, then see if the problem occurs
Maybe try using the samsung stock rom, without root. If you still have the problem, I think you should contact amazon. Be sure to reset the flash counter before you send it away
Sent from my GT-9100 using ICS Remix pro AOKP
There isn't a flash counter on the GNex.

Suddenly my mt3gs starts to vibrate and reboot

This problem it's becoming more and more frequent - it was once a month, then once a week - now almost daily
The mt3gs starts to vibrate very fast for 5 seconds, black screen with no interaction possibility, and then reboots.
Ever happened to anyone?
I'm running CM 7.2

Cant say Ive had the exact same issue, but have had similar. Could be a number of things. Some ROMs have problems with phones rebooting when WiFi is turned on. Not sure about CM7 though. I would recommend making a nandroid backup, and reflash your ROM. If it stops happening, it is likely an app or something corrupted causing it. If it continues, go back to a stock ROM and see how it acts. If it stops now, then it was probably something wrong with the ROM. If it continues, it may be a hardware problem that cant really be fixed. (try a different SD card too.)
Yes, sometimes when i turn on wifi, the phone reboots, but it is a different behaviour - the "wifi reboot" it's a system crash, so the screen suddenly turns in the mt3gs boot logo.
When this happen, it is starts to vibrate a lot (for example, it happened at 4am, it woke me up, even if it was far from my ear), then "dies" for a few seconds (doesn't respond to any button press), and then reboots
very strange...

Phone not receiving calls and randomly rebooting

I have the sprint version of the phone. For the last couple of days I realized I have not been receiving calls at all, but I can still make outgoing calls just fine. Also, my phone has started to randomly turn off repeatedly. It had done it a couple of times recently, but it has happened 5 times so far today. I haven't changed anything on it in a long time. It is rooted, but running the stock rom on zv4.
If you also have problem turning on phone on battery, you can read post and check do you have similar problems.

Reboot Loop

Hello All,
I was one of the first to get my hands on the LG G3 when it came out last year. The phone has been excellent so far, with no issues whatsoever. Lately, the phone crashes very frequently and there is a sort of reboot loop (without evening powering up to the main screen) that goes on until I manually pull the battery out. At first, it used to happen once in a while, but now it seems to happen every time i use the phone for more than 5 min.
Do you know what may be at fault over here?
I have the same issues on my G3-d855.. I did a hard reset but I had no luck.. I also installed the v21A stock ROM but nothing.. I have noticed, though, that there is a pattern in the reboots: they mostly happen when I am receiving an incoming call ( It happens before I answer the phone) or there is a switch from Mobile Data to WiFi and vice versa.. I came back to xda to find a new radio/modem to flash.. I will tell you how that goes..
