help on my i9195 - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi,
i need help on upgrading my i9195. i have flashed it way back (a year ago) to unlock and to root it. Now I want to update it's firmware or to do a full flash. i forgot the original baseband that it used to have before i flashed it, and not sure if i have changed it. i was looking for a stock version for it (probably the latest kitkat or lollipop if there is), and can't find it. please help me thank you.

[Q] Need Some Help

Can any of you fine chaps perhaps get the latest stock firmware of the SPH-L520 if at all possible? I've gotten myself into a mighty fine rut, and I won't be able to dig myself back out without the firmware. Unfortunately the latest stock image I have is several months old, and Knox prevents me from actually loading it into my ROM. Thanks in advance, and hopefully one of you guys can help me
Never mind, was able to flash a 4.4.2 ROM

Need help updating (near) stock T999L to 4.3 for my father

About a year and a half ago, I gave my father my T999L after I upgraded the phone. Since then it appears a 4.3 update has been released and in order to use his Galaxy Gear watch that he wanted for his birthday, he needs to upgrade. He wants to stick with a stock (or stock based) ROM and I need to get it taken care of for him today. When I had the phone, I was running Dandroid. Because I rooted, installed custom recovery, etc. it reads as modified software and will not receive the OTA even though I flashed returned it to stock before I gave it to him.
Any help would be great - apparently the 4.1.2 bootloader won't work with the 4.3 ROMs? Anyone have a link to something I can just use ODIN to flash and get it all done in one step? I assume the link here can do it? Hopefully...

EDIT : Never mind, we're good. I got it figured out

Kernel issue?! can someone please help?

i cannot for the life of me get past this!! bought a replacement vzw htc1 that came with 4.4.2. rooted it, flashed a 4.4.4(?) rom...now the sound does NOT work during calls? works fine otherwise tho. reading i found out its likely because i didnt update to 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 before i flashed? so im assuming its a kernel compatibility issue? i did find a rom that the sound KINDA works..but it isnt right and i hate the rom, the rom is a 4.4.2 ..old rom. so i AM rooted, unlocked and s-off i believe, how can i fix this?? flash a new kernel..which one? fastboot back to stock and go thru the updates? if so, how? i find nothing but CONFUSING tutorials (and im NOT really new to this). ideally id like sense 5.5 4.4.3 so i dont have to drop $25 just to root it? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone point me in the right direction

You just need to update your firmware.
Find my stock rooted Rom thread and flash the latest firmware in post#2.

HTC M8 Hong Kong Help (No version_main)

Hi everyone!
I recently unlocked my bootloader and rooted my m8.
I tried using firewater to "s-off" my phone and unfortunately, it did not work out. The way I understand it, I cannot install stock ROMs (such as the 5.0.1 GPE) without "s-off." Now, I want to unroot my phone and stick to waiting for the OTAs to roll out instead.
I followed the instructions in the "returning to stock" thread and noticed that I have no version main (see attached image). I looked around the forums and saw that the advice was to flash the latest TWRP version. Since I'm stuck with a phone that I cannot update, I'm trying to be careful now. Can anyone please confirm if flashing the latest TWRP will bring my version main back?
The noob in me also has a few questions/requests as well:
1. Since my phone is rooted, I cannot receive OTA updates and upgrade to lollipop once these updates roll out?
2. Please tell me which files to download to return to stock. Just trying to be really careful this time around.
3. Lastly, is it also true that I can only install custom ROMs once have rooted? As to stock ROMs, I can't install them until I get "s-off"?
Thanks a lot, everyone! Cheers!

Do I have to flash the latest TWRP version before proceeding?

Dont know my CSC nor PDA and I want to go back to stock ROM/Recovery on my S7 flat

Hello guys, I am new to the world of Rooting and ROM flashing. So I have a few questions that I cannot solve by myself (been trying and searching stuff for like 2 days and still can't get back to Stock).
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930FD, in the box it says SM-G930FZSUXSG) which has been manufactured in Vietnam but I'm using it in Argentina.
What is troubling me is that I cannot go back to stockROM after installing LineageOS (latest version to date) via TWRP and I'm struggling to find a solution because I feel lost in a sea of information that I don't quite get pretty well as a newbie to this.
¿Could you please help me out? I really need to go back to Stock ROM
By the way I can still access to TWRP and LineageOS
What I tried to date:
Restoring a backup for Oreo android from TWRP (not working)
Installing the stock recovery via Odin (not worked, maybe I'm doing something wrong)
PS: I dont know my PDA nor CSC since LineageOS didn't had this original information.
PSS: My device is rooted
Please help me
Never heard about CSC before. As for the PDA look at the box it came in. it usually starts with ipaq or dell, if you don't have the box then go: Start->Settings->System->About
Hope this helps
