Anyone know how I can make my tablet shows the stats of the battery well , because sometimes it is 40 % and jump to 15 % , and i have calibrated the battery but still the same . The only thing I could do to display either the percentage is disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, but it only lasts a few hours. Anyone know of any .zip or other method to fix the percentage?

I recently had a problem with the battery of my Defy, shows that this charged and stops charging even at 95%. I tried calibrating the battery, with the app and the same from the recovery, and removing the battery.
I can't think what else to do. Help Please!!
Edit, i'm on CM7.1
Have you tried wiping battery stats from recovery??

have been facing the same problem right since the day i upgraded to CM7..but what i have observed is that even though it says that the battery is fully charged @ 95%, it still keeps on charging...check after half and hour and it goes upto 100%..yes, but when u start using the handset after charging, this 5% comes down very fast!
Im having the same problem with the first 10% of the battery disappeared really quickly? Im on standard rom 2.2.2.

Just my observation... In Defy though the hardware is capable of 1% reporting of battery state the software is configured to assume near values. For Example 25% to 34% is considered 30% and 35% to 44% is considered as 40%. Hence when the battery reaches 95% it assumed 100% and reported as fully charged. But if you don't unplug the phone the charging will continue to 100%. In my Defy I don't see any significant difference in drain other than the first 1%. To know the exact charge I use ledefy with LED indication. Ledefy can be configured to change the colour of LED at exact 100%.
yeah, but now it goes up to 100%, i think its solved, but if this persist i'll report the issue to cyanogenmod forums...
thanks for the info pprakash
One thing I found that showed an accurate battery % is Android Circle Battery Widget.
This showed my battery % to 1% accuracy (1% 2% 3% rather than 90, 80, 70, 60 etc)

LEDEFY also have similar notification. It can display the same in the notificatin bar saving space on the screen or if you are having customer rom you can use a different framework-res.apk which can display 1% values ( This is my case for exact values ).
Try clean the battery stat created by older ROM, and use Battery Calibration free app which you can find easily on the market to calibrate ur battery... i think that would help
I hv flash a .sense Rom on my WFS and i used battery calibration, everything seem to work fine, but i notice the battery percentage indicator is incorrect.
Case 1:
I charge the device till full and run battery calibration, after few hours without using the device, the battery shown is still 100%. after that i run some apps n games, the battery immediately shown 96%, after few minutes the battery drop to 88%.
Case 2:
Battery shows diff reading after a reboot, let say I now have 50%, after 1st reboot it show 45%, I feel that is getting weird, then I reboot again, the battery show 48%..
Anyone know what is going on n any solution for that?
Thanks..
You have a miscalibrated battery...Try wiping battery stats via CWM...if it doesn't work try removing the battery for 2-5 minutes...with 4 minutes for me being the sweet spot...the latter solution works for me...try and test...
Battery stats doesn't actually do anything people.

Yeh all I've read about battery calibration in the past few months since I got my WFS unlocked and started playing around is that Battery Calibration is a pointless task that does nothing.
Anyone else find it amusing that some ROMs still include it as part of the initial setup?
Hello
I have new Samsung Galaxy S4 I9195, and everything will be ok, if the battery life will live more then a day. First few days the battery life was around 2days. Yesterday i plug off from charger (i only charge when it drop abut 15-10% to 100%). I go sleep with about 70% battery, and in the morrning what was my suprise when the battery was below 45%. What the **** i mean.
And i looking for the suff about the cell standy and i dont know what to do.
I find something like that:

I use only 2G and in home i have always wifi turn on. As you can see in 15min phone eat 2% from battery when i write this post.
Phone is 90% time in one place where signal power is-73dBm 20asu
Whats the problem ?
I find this normal, 15 min - 2% (depends on what you are doing) i suggest you to turn your phone off when you are sleeping.
if i use chrome for like 5 min it drains 1/2 %
candy crush 10 mins drops 3/4 %
i have 17/18 applications so, it also depends on how many apps you have.
more apps is more battery use
so dont worry
Edit)
and 2% drain for posting this?
your lucky bro, my phone will drain probably 3/4 % (not sure)
@lgorek, to have some hints, read all this thread :

It could be a bug in the stock ROM. arco68 seems to have fixed it in his custom stock kernel :

For 99% there is problem for now i test it and search of the bug.
I notice that when i restart phone when is charging or after charge the battery life is at normal drop, BUT when battery drop to 10% i plug the charger and it reach 100%. Something is not working fine becouse the cell standaby power drain more battery.
I give more info in few day i will have more photos and you can see it.
dsavard i will check it, but first i test like i write up.
Hi, i have a problem with my Galaxy my Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, can not remember when it started, but the problem is with the Android battery indicator, this start when i left 40% off remaining battery. Example: im playing a game, stop playing and the battery is at 27%, lock the device or turn off the screen for about 30 or 40 second, i look back and indicates that there is 36% remaining battery.
Sometimes indicates remaining 15%, in 30 second or 1 minute, show 5%, i connect to the charger for about 10 seconds, and show 20%.
I have calibrated several times, change rom several times and in all i have the problem, also i have completely discharge the battery, let it charge all night off, when i turn on is at 100% and back to calibrate, and the problem persist. ( i use battery calibration)
If anyone know how to solve this, or know another form to calibrate the battery, please tell me.
Thanks
I have the same issue, mine takes forever to charge but drains fast then States different levels from high to low. I've used several roms but haven't calibrated yet and will calibrate when I'm fully charged. Since you said you have calibrated already I believe the best thing to do is back up your system into recovery then wipe and reflash the rom you're currently using it might help.

From my experience with the G3 (D855) it appears that the battery percentage indicator on most roms is horrendously off.
On stock based roms I have seen the battery percent hang at 100% for an alarming/comforting 20 or so minutes of SOT. From there it seems the battery percentage gets even less accurate until it almost drops a percentage a minute towards the end of the charge. I see that this is blatantly false representation of the true percentage of battery remaining on my device. It annoys me to as when using my device throughout the day I like to have an idea of how I must adjust or limit my usage in order to get to a charge, but with rouge percentages like so, it just doesn't make any sense.
I should not have to reset the battery calibration file as other users have reported this too on other battery threads. I was wondering if anyone has discovered a fix for this annoying bug? Or if we can bring some ideas together to make a flashable fix for it?
