Perhaps Your ROM is Modified Or Using Custom Rom
Also You're Using Rooted ROM
Anytime You Restore That Backup SU is activated
So You Should Able To Reblock Your Device Again
And Using Original RUU.exe ROM

Thanx for help bro but I unrooted my phone last night successfully by flashing a backup of stock rom with the help of twrp

It always asked me to update supersu binary, but it failed. Now i cannot restore all app from titanium backup, coz titanium needs root to run.
I also got knox warranty void 0x1. Hope some expert here can give me solutions.
Hi, you need busybox.

Please give me link for those u mention..
I'm currently cannot restore all my apps from titanium backup, since it needs root access to restore.
That new firmware has KNOX enable. Even i already deleted some knox app from /system/app, it seems to be run and block all su access.
I followed the root method, supersu icon already there and needs to be updated with latest su binary. But it cannot update, it fail..
ADB SHELL, then run su from command also stuck.. I cannot do anything in unroot condition.. I also tried to downgrade previous firmware, but cannot work. Odin fails too !! Samsung now put high protection on latest firmware, so they protect it cannot be rooted..
If u already tried and make sure this method working, pls give me the step by step method.
Thanks before and after..
Does latest firmware for i9190 needs insecure kernel to disable blocking access from su ?
I tried flash previous modem, odin success, but why the PDA version still no change ?
Problem solved !!
The correct way is to flash the latest update supersu zip from chainfire. Flashing rootkit v2 also no change.

I still don't know how to avoid knox trigger. Mine also has knox 0x1.. U cannot downgrade to previous ROM since the latest firmware has a new bootloader which protect u to downgrade the ROM.
If u already followed the step from page 1, then u have to do 1 more step.
Just download the updated version of supersu from chainfire. U can download from this link http://download.chainfire.eu/372/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.86.zip
Go to recovery, then flash it.. U can totally root your device..

As far as it goes I think after rooting it with CFroot you should update the SuperSU from the Playstore.

Hello, I was trying to update my note 2 with DN3 kitkat rom today.. But didn't work! :/
I rooted the phone. I got correct root access.
Then followed the instruction to flash the ROM.
After reboot, I could hear the welcome sound(new) and saw the samsung animated logo..then it stuck there. I waited for some 15mins, but nothing happened, only the animated samsung logo.
I saw an issue in TWRP.. saying there was a problem with permission. I don't know what was it. I tried to fix permission, but it failed.
After nothing worked, now I am in the process of recovery from kies.
Perhaps I didn't have the right step by step guide; from rooting the phone to flashing it. :/
If someone could please help, would be great!.. I really want to flash my phone for the DN3 custom rom.
Thanks.
Why do you need to root when flashing custom rom? It is already prerooted. You only need recovery.

As per rooting instruction, it is mentioned that the device must be rooted before flashing a custom rom from stock rom.
While installing the recovery the device is rooted or another way that I tried was to root by CFroot first, which was successfully done then I got the super user access to install a recovery like TWRP,,

Boot into recovery. If you see a black screen with a red triangle or green circle, that is stock recovery. If you see TWRP/CWM you are obviously still on custom recovery.
But in case that the system is not stock, lets assume some system file was missing, won't doing a factory reset resolve the problem since the factory reset is being done from the stock recovery!

Unrooting help URGENT

Hi I want to unroot my G3 so I can get marshmallow without the fuss and stuff. The thing is flashing a stock lollipop will delete my data, which to me is very important. So I really have no idea of how to backup fully(except rom) other than taking a nandroid. Are there any other ways of unrooting which will undo my mods and stuff, keeping in mind I'm on a stock rom which is rooted, or any simple way to do a backup and restore from a rooted rom to a stock rom.

If I'm not wrong, when you flash the .KDZ it will un-root automatically your device. But just download Titanium Backup and backup all your apps, then install the bumped version of the MM (if you don't have TWRP installed, it is very easy to do it in LL).
I don't remember if Titanium can install all your apps back with theirs respectives datas without root, but you can root the device again if you install the .zip via the custom recovery. You can do it as well if you flash the KDZ, but as I have installed the bumped Marshmallow, I'll let someone else explain it to you.
Of course, if you still want to unroot, as you are in lollipop you probably used Kingroot or some app like that. Just open the app and try to find an option to unroot, most of them have it right when you open it.
Sorry for any typo or broken english, I'm in kind of a hurry

You can always root it again and restore your data using Titanium =P. The recovery is only needed to flash custom roms ou .zip files, like Viper4Android (although you can download the non-official one from Play Store), mods and etc.
I know there are some apps that don't need neither root nor custom recoverys, but I haven't used any of them, so I will let someone with more experience in that area explain it to you.
Just one more thing: I saw that there are ways of downgrading back to lollipop if you flash the official KDZ, but they're a little bit tricky, so I still recommend you to flash the .zip through TWRP (upgrade it to the 2.8.7.1 version if you haven't done it already). If you need more help, or if I wasn't clear enough, just mention or quote me and I'll se if I can help

There are 2 ways to get stock marshmallow running on d855s now:
1. Flash via TWRP 2.8.7.0 by following instructions from here.
2. Downloading KDZ file from here and flashing using LG Flash Tool 2014 or LGUP tool.
I would recommend that you use method 1 since you are rooted. You can use TiBackup to backup your apps+data and after flashing you will still have root and you can restore apps+data using TiBackup.
Also, method 1 is better than method 2 because if you use method 2, you will lock your bootloader and lose root. You MAY not be able to downgrade to Lollipop, and I don't think there's a reliable way to root stock marshmallow just yet.

I think you're misunderstanding me, I'd like to go back to an unrooted version of lollipop and eventually get the official marshmallow update. I don't want to get involved in flashing and stuff, it's just time consuming. So to sum it up - go to unrooted lollipop with all my data(no root mods) and wait for official update.

He wants to unroot the phone and keep all his data, so the only way he could flash the LL kdz and keep his apps would be rooting again and installing the backup using Titanium.
@OP, what root metod did you use? Helium propably will work, but I haven't used it yet. Try opening your SuperSU app and selecting the option to unroot in the settings. Most of 'em have it.

If you flash the KDZ using the CSE_Flash option, yes, it will unroot the phone. If you just dirty flash it, I don't know, maybe.
If you unroot by using the option in SuperSU, you'll be able to update using OTA, you will only have some issues (aka bootloops) if you have a custom recovery installed. If you have, don't EVER try to install ANY OTA.

By repairing, you mean just unroot and install the stock recovery back? I don't think so, the .KDZ file is a full OS. If you flash it you will have your stock recovery and will unroot, but your phone will be factory reseted

I don't think there is any option besides restoring the stock recovery. I've seen a way of doing in somewhere in a Brazilian forum, but you would have to have a backup of it, which I don't think you do. Anyway, your best chance is to use titanium backup to backup your data (and move your photos and videos to the sd card), restore the system by flashing it using the flash tool, root it again, restore everything using titanium, and unroot. But I highly recommend you to keep your device the way it is, and update just when there is a deodexed Rom or a custom stock Rom available. After you get used to having root and a custom recovery, there is no turning back.
