How to install twrp/how to install roms

I want to install new roms but my device dosent seem to work,i have already rooted and installd "TouchRecoveryInstaller-v1_01" but cant seem to have permission to back up my current rom b125 and install new ,help please..

With CWM you can't backup/restore ROM. Try TWRP.

thanks but I think I just killed my phone I formatted it but it didn't restart its now stuck on logo am tryn vol up+vol down but nothing is working

You can install any firmware with dload method but when installing b118 thr is chance of brick your device. I refer you install kitkat if you want unlock bootloader.
Yes you can flash B111 anytime you want

You can backup and restore with CWM. First install CWM and than flash TouchRecoveryLoader.zip from this forum:

First of all if you flash b118 , b120 or kk your bootloader will be unlocked for ever it will not locked when you flash b125. If you want kk rom then flash kitkat beta using dload method
Then install twrp recovery.
Then goto twrp recovery. Then follow the steps i said. You will know everything when you enter twrp recovery. Gapp and superuser you have to download and install after you install ROM( without wiping anything. Wipe only before you install anyrom)

in my P6 with B125 is problem with wifi Self disconnects although good signal
Therefore, I wanted to install your KK rom
I do not know whether KK beta is good idea I hope this will be resolved in your KK rom.
I have P6 one week and battery problem resolved with upgrade to b125 but wifi work wrong
When I install KK beta bootloader still lock?
What do you think about KK beta is it better than B125 JB? Have I install it or wait for the official version of KK?

I think kk is much better. If you install kk it will unlock bootloader. I am using Kk and dont have any wifi problem.

I'm using B125, now I want flash it first with KK beta to unlocked my bootloader. Yes, I flash B125 and that was my first time.
So now I want to folllow your instructions as mention on your post. So, I'm still confused with what TWRP to use, then installing

How install back rom b111?

Looks like your goal is to go back to B125?
Just flash recovery only from the link you posted:

You don't need to flash KK beta, flash B125 immediately.
Place UPDATE.APP from B125 in dload folder on your external SD card. Turn off the phone.
Turn it back on while holding volume down+volume up+power. Hold for at least 3 seconds. Update should start by itself.

As I understand surdu_petru stated that you can flash TWRP 2.6.3.7 only on KK Beta, and 2.6.3.3 only on B118 unlocked firmware.
For flashing any custom ROM you have to read what ROM developer says. If developer of the custom ROM says "you can only flash it on B118", then you must be on B118. I would not try to flash it on B125 unless I was brave/dumb!

First, please install stock recovery KitKat, than you are able to flash any firmware you want by : external sdcard/dload/UPDATE.APP method !

[Q] [Noob] P6: backup on SD via Recovery? HOW?

I have bought an Ascend P6 (my first Android phone, so I have started to learn using tutorials and XDA). I have only:
- updated the firmware from B606 to B125 international
- rooted the device
Now I would like to install Xposed, but first I'd like to make a backup of the smartphone on the SD card using a Recovery. Here on XDA I have found CWM (but at the moment, as I understood, it can't backup/restore) and TWRP. This one works only with B118CN and B120CN. What does "CN" mean?
In your opinion, what should I do to make a backup (more or less) safely?
I am still not very familiar with some terms and practices, so please explain every step

CN means that they are Chinese firmware and they come with unlocked bootloader, which is required in order to flash twrp. But check here how you can unlock BL on any firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2666116

Ok, so I have to use adb to unlock the bootloader. I found some guides on this forum, but I ask you: do I only have to install Huawei Hi Suite and adb/fastboot tools? Or also Android SDK? Is there a specific procedure for P6? I didn't find it.
I read in the thread linked above that the factory reset should not happen, but in that case (Murphy's law)... what would happen? Is there a risk of "bricking" the phone? I just made a backup with the Huawei "internal" tool (under MGMT folder) and I don't know what I could lose while unlocking the bootloader. I still have a little confusion in my head

UPDATE: I installed Android SDK and Huawei PC Suite. I entered fastboot mode and used the command "fastboot oem unlock UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" to unlock the bootloader. Then I rebooted the phone (fastboot reboot).
Now I want to install TWRP. Please confirm me these steps:
- I have to download twrp_2_6_3_3_recovery.img (where do I have to put it?)
- via adb commands, I have to enter fastboot mode and use the command "fastboot flash recovery twrp_2_6_3_3_recovery.img"
Then? Just reboot the phone?

It worked, I installed TWRP but when i boot in it, the phone starts vibrating and I can't use it.
Should I install Kitkat beta and then downgrade again in B125? Both via local update, right?
After that should I flash TWRP again?

I read that I'm not the only one with this problem... but I couldn't find a solution for now.
I don't know if re-flashing TWRP would solve this. When I boot in TWRP I see the menu, but the phone vibrates and the screen does not respond correctly to my taps. Luckily, if I press Power + Vol up + Vol down the phone reboots in normal mode!

Install TWRP on KK Beta... Safest method.

Ok, I installed the stock recovery and it worked! now I'll see if install Kitkat beta and keep it or go back to B125... I'm afraid that B125 and TWRP will continue to give me the "vibrating" error. Anyway, thank you for your help!

Need help to update rooted B520 to B708.

Hello guys. I'm android newbie .
I wanna install B708 EMUI 3.0. I have B520 now. My huawei p6 is rooted. I have TWRP. I put update.app to dload folder. When I'm trying to update it by "local update" from phone menu, phone is asking me about reboot. I'm clicking YES, and then I have TWRP menu. So i can't update it. Could you give me instructions how to do that?
Anyway, is it possible to root B708?

I think you will need to use rom that is compatable with TWRP. The huawei firmware won't install unless you have the stock recovery on your phone. I am on stock 708 I rooted with king root.

What is the easiest way to return to stock recovery in my case?

Not sure never been on TWRP. Are you sure you have it installed. You should be able to install stock recovery as a zip file from TWRP.

If you have TWRP. I'd install the 709 repack from oxalis. Can be downloaded from p6 development thread. Put it in a folder boot into TWRP and install from there. Make sure you read all the threads so you don't have any problems.

You could use Minimal ADB and fastboot from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790 (just google for commands)
But I think it's possible with twrp as well. Just put the zip file on your SD card, go to 'install' in twrp and choose your stock ROM.zip on external SD (after the usual wiping).

I think that if you have b520 then you could get a repack of 708 or the oxalis one and install that over twrp. The problem lies in the version of twrp, before 3(not 100% sure which version) twrp can't update through an .img file, but can update though a .zip file. A zip file usually is a modified repack of the original firmware. However if you are determined to install a stock 708(which to my understanding there's none, cause 708 was ported backwards) you should switch to a stock recovery and then update through that by following the procedure you followed .
About rooting 708 not sure but i rooted 709 by oxalis with root genius.
