I just got an Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML 2GB version) and I read an article about how people can play Puzzle and Dragons on it. I downloaded it and when I try to open the app, the screen turns black then it goes to the home screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times but nothing seems to work. GungHo (the creator of Puzzle and Dragons) stated that this game is compatible on Android 2.3 - 5.0. Any suggestions or anyone that has this phone that plays PAD encounter this as well? Thanks!
Are you on the stock ROM? PaD seems to work fine for me on CM13, which is Android 6.0.1.

Hello everybody! In my first thread I already would like to ask if anyone have experienced similar things on Xperia Play. I have SonyCM 10 Final installed, as well as LuPuS_zeus_jBv13-full and after that I found out that some games that should work properly with my touchpad... well, they don't. I got Metal Slug X and 3 installed, Pocket RPG, N64 and SNES emulator, and they work flawlessly with my touchpad. But I installed games like Chaos Rings and Eternal Legacy and they do not recognize the touchpad. Well, those are Xperia Play optimized games, but I read that they had already problems when playing on android 2.3.3+. So is there anybody that experienced same problems? Or is there a fix of some kind?
Also I applied the O button fix, but the 'keypad-zeus.kl' reverse itself to default values (back instead of button B)... WTH?
And btw - is there any update for the things I have 'onboard'? I included screenshot (it's in Polish, but it's pretty clear) of the things I have.
Ask - if I missed something, I'll gladly answer! ^^

I recently got a play.... I couldn't get the touch pad to work at all in cm7 (shame coz im a fan of cm7)
Im now using gin2jellybean ROM and the touch pads work fine on all the games iv tried
I haven't tried Chaos Rings or Eternal Legacy tho
Still nothing... It's kind of sad that there's no workaround or solution for this problem... I can't play many games because when I press Square or Triangle, the X button is virtually pressed as well...

Yeah, and it was a no-go... I'm even thinking of reversing to original android 2.3.4... but is it worth it even? I'd love to have 4.1.2 and play game normally, without lag or multipress issues...
My phone Is a stock C6502 Xperia ZL,running 4.2.2 stock, unrooted bootloader locked.
When I try to run any of these three games (the only ones giving me any problems so far)
Final Fantasy 3
Final Fantasy 4
Ravensword Shadowlands
The games load and I get then black screen, and it stays there. Any ideas why this might be? Anything I can do to get them to work?
These are legit games I purchased from google play (I have then running fine on my Asus tf300t tablet, and they ran great on my previous galaxy nexus before I replaced it with this ZL beast).
I tried to uninstall and reinstall from google play, nothing
Tried rebooting phone, nothing
Even tried replacing the obb files with those from my tablet (it is not rooted either, so cannot extract apk or titanium backup), nothing
Fun games, I would like to be able to play them on this phone, anyone else have issues with these games? All other games I have thrown at it run great and smooth.

Well, Got them to work by extracting the apk from my tablet and installing that way. Weird that the download from the play store would fail to work, any ideas why? (only on the zl, the tablet downloads and plays these games from the store beautifully)

I have good news and bad news.
Good news is that you are not alone, I get the same gray tearing issue on some, not all, youtube videos when viewing via chrome.
Bad news is that I have no idea how to fix it or why it happens. I've noticed that some videos don't present this issue and other do.
Like you have been doing, I've simply been forcing those videos to full screen. Clearing the chrome and youtube app data to give the apps a "fresh start" doesn't seem to help.
My theory is that there is something slightly different about the encoding/compression of some videos and Chrome doesn't like it when they play embeded via HTML5. Strangely this does not happen on my phone.
I've also seen the gray tearing in the youtube app once, but can't reproduce the issue.

Hello guys! I have a problem with NBA games.. I have Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus (I9100P) and i have problem with NBA games...I start NBA, i press button for start the match and the screen turns black and i see message (The app stop working) and the app close. This problem exists in NBA 2K13, 2K14 , 2K15 and 2K16.. I have 6.0.1 android version.
I see some videos in Youtube with nba and s2 plus and working.. How can i fix it? Help me please

maybe you're using a CyanogenMod-based rom. From my experience, those roms are not suitable for power-demanding games. Still, I could be wrong, but if you've tried everything and still not working, then switching to another rom could be profitable.
I recently rooted my Galaxy Note 8.0 knowing I wouldn't use it anymore. I have been trying to connect my Xbox 360 wireless controller to play some games, but I have been having a lot of difficulties. I have downloaded older or different versions of the Joystick Center (demo/gold). Everytime it reads the controller and it is functional but the editing of other game layouts doesn't. When I try to turn on J>F it gives me a message saying '/dev/uinput'. I have downloaded SELinuxModeChanger and I have looked for the file with a root browser, which isn't there so I tried downloading Ktoonsez kernel. It brings me to XDA Developers and gives me several links that don't work anymore apparently. Any help would be appreciate.
