As far as I try, I can't make init.d support for enforcing samsung official LP OA7 to work by editing its ramdisk.
Even using term-init.sh for universal init.d enabler on official rooted OA7 enforcing and prism barebone enforcing, will not work.
Have u tried to enabled it but fail?
I think, maybe becoz your kernel boot at enforcing state.
If you completely remove enforcing and set permissive or disable selinux only, its different story
I'm sorry for my bad english.
If I disable selinux , the kernel would not boot ( I tried doing that ) so I'll see what I can do about booting in the permissive mode itself
And then maybe the code for init .d in the ram disk may work

Yeah i know it sir thanks to Andrei.. But 1 problem is with v19.1 alpha tethering not detected in other device.. I only hope it will fixed soon by Andrei or by other dev.. And Romswitcher v3.1 still need more features i think like zram so swap will work too..
OP updated with second release
changelog :
using LZO compression instead of XZ , kernel is heavier but execution is faster (eg; booting time is less) also this should fix the high battery drain
Kernel boots as permissive
PS:
1) The code in the init.rc does not get executed for init support ( ill work on it soon after my exam in a day or two )
2) Please test the battery life and performance on this one
Thank You
What are the two frequencies available?
The min and max
BTW I found that on some apps the frequency can't be set
For example in aero control you can't set frequency but you can use memory tweaks like ksm on it
On the other hand in no frills you can use only min and max frequency
While on cpu tuner you get three frequencies min , max and 600Mhz
It's your call mate what you want

^ That is because I removed debugging stuff to make the kernel lighter If I add it ,size would grow (let's see)
What would be cause of reboot...may be ram issue..
Have Stweak support?
THANK YOU SO MUCH <3 I have been dying and searching for a good KERNEL since the stock drains battery just when the screen is turn on for even 5 mins
THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN REALLY APPRECIATE IT
OP updated ,
Minor Update , Not much of a changelog present ( just minor changes here and there )
Second post updated with Touchscreeen sensitivity tweak ( this is a must , it makes the whole interface buttery smooth )
and some battery saving defaults ( cause at the end of the day , battery is all that matters)
Introduction:
Presenting Lucid Kernel, built from LGE v30d sources. This project started as my personal builds and used daily on my device. Although the project status is beta, it is stable to be used as a daily driver. This is my first time sharing my kernel here at XDA. My main goal for this kernel is to improve what the stock kernel provides and more. I currently don't have any plans to add CPU and GPU overclocking, and tons of cpu governors. The kernel is still base on 3.4.0, but with useful patches from the mainline kernel.
Kernel Main Features:
rev_hotplug custom cpu hotplug driver - online cores based on system load and turn cores off when it is idle
Mpdecision off by default, but can still be activated
User voltage control - by @faux123
boeffla_sound by @Lord Boeffla - speaker and headphone volume control.
Tweaked Ondemand Governor with patches from @stratosk
Stock LG ondemand renamed to lg_ondemand
Motorola's Quickwakeup driver - drop the system back into suspend without fully resuming if the wake reason was a special quick wakeup event.
A lot of under the hood improvements
Advanced TCP congestion control
Loads of I/O Schedulers
Init.d support
Lucid Settings - Script to change hotplug, boeffla_sound, and selinux mode. -inspired by @imoseyon 's lkconfig
*This kernel is compatible only on stock LG lollipop rom(30a, 30b, etc.) with BUMPED recovery and KK Bootloader
Installation:
Backup rom or just boot partition if coming from stock
Download and flash via recovery
Reboot :good:
Downloads:
androidfilehost
**Use your favorite kernel apps to control some kernel settings, but I personally use Kernel Adiutor.
For the hotplug and boeffla sound control, run lucid from terminal emulator app.
Code:
1. Type "su"
2. Type "lucid"
3. Enter a number to select options.
eg. Type "2" if you want to change boeffla_sound settings.
4. All settings changed will be applied immediately and will stick on boot

I haven't tried the boeffla sound app. But to change the values you may use a terminal emulator and type this;
echo "value left value right" > /sys/class/misc/boeffla_sound/speaker_volume
echo "value left value right" > /sys/class/misc/boeffla_sound/headphone_volume
If you want the settings to stick on boot, edit the 07rev script located at /etc/init.d
first tnx...I love stratosk and his work on n4, so I must try your kernel.
You said in op
"Init.d support - creates init.d script upon installation" where is it?
And how to manage the sound and hotplug... I really have no idea.
tnx again

Use Kernel Adiutor to change voltage settings.
any relevant bugs we should know. I'm gonna give it a try asap
None so far, just don't enable zram.
I had a nexus 4 and I very love kernel by stratosk . Nice to know that you have a "Tweaked Ondemand Governor with patches from @stratosk" , i will test it now :good::good::good:
so far so good. charging is at 1610 with stock charger.
edit: it messed up my true stereo mod. channels are now unbalanced and no matter what I edit in mixer_paths it stays the same. also tried using the kernel script and lower speaker to balance stereo channels with no sucess.
maybe you can add a value for left/right channel speaker like you can with headphones
edit2: what I found so far. if I use default mixer_path with no mods the kernel scripts works to lower speaker volume. But when using stereo mod mixer_path it ignores kernel script and cant control speaker volume. wouldnt be such a pain if manually editing mixer_path worked like before I installed your kernel. wich also doesnt.
that beeing said Im left with two options. either use a completely unbalanced stereo mod and cant use boeffla settings. or forget about the mod and use boeffla. thing is I realy like this mod
edit3: multicore geelbench is way low, also notice mortal kombat x a bit slow compared to stock kernel.
@remorema could you try this https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952599326
I added back the control for dual channel speaker volume. Test it. If is still doesn't work, could you link me to this stereo mod you're using?
As for the low multi-core geekbench score, I think it may have something to do with how I allocate processes to each core. The tweak I made should give more power savings, but that could be the effect of it. Delete the 07rev script on your init.d before flashing.
I want to give a try to your kernel but first I want to ask you something if its possible, could be possible to add Samsung patch to wifi, etc like Bckernel explained here: https://github.com/simex31/BC_Kernel_LP_STOCK_D802/commit/bcc698ba11d3d55326d853bbc7abc36c4fcac47e and no audio mod?
I get the best wifi @5ghz and [email protected] with that driver, impossible to get with stock.
Thanks!
I will see what I can do about the wifi, but I personally don't have any problems with it. No sound mod is a no go. You can always disable it if you don't wanna use it.

With Wifi is night and day (some people has the same issues like me, maybe is SEA variant the problem), I discovered it with BCkernel and finally I'm not planning to come back to KK because in KK I had problems at 5Ghz only with [email protected], now in LP my phone is ever connected at 433mhz without a single drop, amazing that driver, the only problem I have with BCkernel is the battery drain, now I'm monitoring it with battery widget pro to compare it with stock.
Last note, the issue with wifi is only at 5ghz, on 2.4 it works fine
Another nice plugin to have is screen calibration (kcal).
First things first.
***I AM NOT BY ANY MEANS an ANDROID or C DEV*** in fact I am a QA however I do have development experience in other languages.
That being said I do own and daily use a SM-G925W8 and this is currently very stable, now onto the details.
This is a port/merge of AndreiLux's Perseus7420 Kernel for the north american s6 Edge.
I did not write this Kernel, all I did was adapt the kernel from the G920F to the G925W8 version.
more specifically I merged the changes present from G920F -> G925F and applied them to the source code from G925W8
then merged that into AndreiLux's ref-3.10 branch https://github.com/AndreiLux/ref-3.10.
Built the kernel, applied the same ramdisk changes that AndreiLux's kernel has and repacked the boot.img
So here you go.
The Perseus7420 kernel that was previously only available for the non edge F variant is now available to use on the canadian variant.
I have tested it all day and this thing is very very stable.
What works:
Call Audio (w8/t have a secondary sound chip ES705 which needs to be explicitly enabled in the defconfig)
Everything else AndreiLux implemented, including full voltage control for all cpu cores, gpu, memory, internal busses please see his change log here: https://github.com/AndreiLux/ref-3.10/releases
What doesnt work:
-nothing?
-you tell me
-still testing
-****I have no idea if this actually works on SM-G925T but it verymuch should... I only have the W8 variant***
I will attempt to keep this up to date and merge in any new changes Andrei releases's as this phone is my dd and I like awesome battery life and stability.
Please note. DO NOT FLASH THIS zip!!!! YOU MUST EXTRACT IT
This image file must be flashed with either:
1) dd if=/path_to_image/boot.img of=/dev/block/sda# <- your boot sector
2) or in twrp you can flash an image instead of a zip by clicking images in the bottom right corner of twrp, then selecting boot.img then the boot radio box before hitting flash.
3) flashify
Updated kernel, can boot s6E+ rom, fixed call audio, now this is a flashable zip.
in all cases backup your current boot image first.
and of course im not liable for anything you break.
thanks for checking out my merge of AndreiLux's kick ass kernel
gundal
of course special thanks to AndreiLux for authoring a lot of these awesome changes and give us this wonderful kernel.

No I am saying this KERNEL is compatible with the s6E+ rom that was ported to the S6 Edge.
its a rom called SIXPERIENCE v2.0
it will run on Sm-G925T/W8 and this kernel will boot it or normal 5.1.1 for G925

Awesome! Downloading now. Any other changes?
Wow, I'm in love with this. For those who don't know, the kernel has an awesome 8-band EQ that can be independently configured for right/left channels as well as the capability to modify the voltage of the CPU, GPU, and various busses. It also allows for fine-grain color calibration. All of the settings are available via Synapse. Installed and working great on my g925t.
Forgot that system and cache are formatted to f2fs. i can't test until new rom comes out when I do clean wipe.
I have a 925T T-Mobile variation edge with S6 edge+ V2.0 Port ROM running with no call issues or any other issues. However I was wondering if your kernel will give me back WiFi Calling or is that not kernel related?

A 1.0 version?
What is LightningZap! kernel?
It is a lightweight, yet heavily tweaked and optimized kernel geared towards balancing performance and battery life.
Please read this ENTIRE post before downloading and flashing LightningZap! kernel.
Disclaimer: As with all custom kernels, you flash at your own risk. Always make a backup! I nor the associates of LightningZap! kernel, Teamfahq, or the testers group cannot and will not take responsibility for YOUR actions. I cannot always control what works and doesn't work with ROMs other than my own. If there is a bug, feel free to report it with logs, but note that the problem may be due to a conflict with coding int the ROM. If said condition exists, please discuss the concern with said ROM developer. If a bug condition does exist within the kernel and there is a known fix for said bug, please don't hesistate to link me to that fix. Make sure to give credit, thanks, and maybe even a cup of coffee to your developers. If you have a feature request, please feel free to share it as well.
Features:
Based off ElementalX kernel by flar
blue_schedul governor from blue_spark kernel thanks to eng.st
Ondemand gov Optimized for better performance while maintaining battery life
FIOPS ioscheduler by default (suggest leavving it that way)
My insane readahead tweak **** In HDK-Mod kernel manager, it reports "Not in range." This is normal DO NOT adjust. My tweaks optimizes readahead per demand usage.****
LZ4 compression
O3 Optimizations
zram
lz-sysctl tweaks
Sound control (speaker, earpiece and mic)
Backlight min setting
Adjust or disable vibration
Advanced Color Control and K-Lapse
Block wakelocks
NTFS r/w, CIFS and NFS support
WireGuard support
Option to disable fsync
Pass SafetyNet
LightningZap! kernel will work on oneplus 6 and oneplus 6T on stock OOs and most custom roms. There are 2 versions, PIE and NDP.
Diferences
PIE was built for custom roms
STOCK was modified for stock OOS (Does not include commits to fix fps that custom roms need)
NDP was slightly modified for SkyDragonOs by removing wake gestures. Wake gestures are natviely written into SkyDragonOs (and maybe more roms).
I have not tested all roms to see what works and what doesn't. So, I would suggest trying PIE first. If wake gestures (like dt2w) do not work, try NDP. Feel free to report what rom and LightningZap! kernel version you are using.
Bug reporting is HIGHLY encouraged, but please accompany your reports with logs. I cannot do much to fix things without them. Pruning of the logs is deeply appreciated as well.
I feel that if you are here, you already know how to flash a custom kernel. If not, close this page and do some research about it first. This will not erase recovery or root when flashing. But, I would like to quote @eng.stk
Warning: If you come from other kernel or have any issues, you should dirty flash your ROM before flashing LightningZap! zip to avoid problems.
Reflash ROM -> if you want root flash SuperSU or Magisk (default, no plugins/modules) -> flash LightningZap!.
If you are already rooted or upgrading between LightningZap! versions, just flash the kernel zip. Also uninstall or clean data of any kernel control app you're using.

It's not going to work on OOS as he's got the FOD hacks required for functional fingerprint on custom ROMs. Doing this breaks fingerprint on OOS, and removing them will break it on custom ROMs. The only way to accommodate both currently is with two separate kernel variants.
Great work Thomas

Everything seems great so far except one thing. Has anyone else noticed that their fingerprint sensor stopped working on OOS stable? Or could this just be a coincidence for me?

For governor, use whatever fits your needs the most. I recommend trying all 3 to see which on egives you the most performance and battery life.

It's not going to work on OOS as he's got the FOD hacks required for functional fingerprint on custom ROMs. Doing this breaks fingerprint on OOS, and removing them will break it on custom ROMs. The only way to accommodate both currently is with two separate kernel variants.

Yep... Accidentally merged those commits to the PIE branch. Running new build now. oops...
PIE branch updated. Fingerprint should be fixed now.
The New Update Is Buttery Smooth Bro Great Work Fp Works Better Than Stock Oos the only thing is the gaming performance has came down can experiencing shutter lags, and fps drops any fixes over that rest is just amazing bro .

With your favorite kernel manager app, try using ondemand governor and lowering the up_threshold value adjust the sampling rate.
Using 3D benchmark app with Sling Shot Exteme setting up_threshold at 70 (default value) OpenGL ES 3.1 scored 4632 and Vulkan came in at 4272
Dropping it to 15 (lowest possible value)
OpenGL ES 3.1 scored 4857 and Vulkan came in at 4456
Setting it to 90
OpenGL ES 3.1 scored 4337 and Vulkan came in at 4068
These are overall scores and only an example. Results may very per device.
You can also try raising the sampling_rate as well. But I think the default value is best.
Be aware when adjusting these values, your perfomance vs battery life is effected.
lower up_threshuold will increase performance and decrease battery life whereas higher up_threshold decreases performance but raises battery life. Adjusting these values too high/low can cause the device to become unstable or overheat. Make your adjustments in small increments and if you notice a significant lag or your device is starting to get too hot, you can change them back and avoid complete device failure.
And by battery life, I mean the discharge rate, not the length of time until your battery takes a poop and you have to replace it or your phone.
New download link for pie branch. New branch added STOCK.
So, as pointed out by return.of.octobot , the PIE branch fp worked but became broken after reverting the commit for fp on custom roms. So, I made a new branch for OOS only and the PIE branch is for custom ROMs.
Tried flashing this stock version kernel on OOS 9.0.17 via FK manager app and got the abort message with error as unsupported device. Please see attached screenshot and let me know if there is something I need to change.

Flash in recovery. Since this is not a franko kernel, the franko kernel app won't work...
