Does anyone know a mod that will make Swype keyboard use Google instead of dragon dictation. I used to use swype tweaks when xposed was available but since is not I'm looking for a workaround thank you.
if you're using the version of swype that comes with a
touchwiz rom, the microphone button Does open Google voice keyboard.
Yeah I know, was just hoping to use the one I paid for. Thanks though
Just use the google keyboard
Google keyboard. It's a ok keyboard but predictions aren't that good to me. I think swype does it better.
Does anyone know how to theme the included Swype application that already has the Google dictation?
And/or, does anyone know the code to change the dictation from Dragon to Google?
I've successfully added the top number row mod to make it more like the Samsung keyboard but the themes are locked out in smali somewhere.
Either would would be an improvement. I've learned to get by without the voice dictation and use paid version with the added number row. I miss Xposed but what I miss more is the developers sharing code that we could use to make our own mods. Those were some fun threads!
Of all the keyboards I've tried to learn, Swype is still the most accurate for me, by far.

Here's something that I think would really make many people's lives a lot easier!
CyanogenMod now supports many languages for the stock soft keyboard which is very nice. However when using the stock keyboard as the input method, when the keyboard is opened, it is only possible to type in English (as far as I'm aware). However using other input methods like AnySoftKeyboard it is possible to type in the currently used language (ASK even allows changing languages on the fly with Alt+Space)
But, many of these 3rd party keyboards are not thumb friendly and uncomfortable to use in On Screen Keyboard mode.
So a very useful thing would be a program that automatically sets the input method to a predefined option when the keyboard is opened/closed. So for example I open the keyboard and it auto changes to AnySoftKeyboard, then I close it and it changes back to stock keyboard.
Unfortunately I can't program but if anyone can make this I'm sure it'll be useful to many people.
Looks like I missed Keyboard Manager, very nice software that does this. Thank you ne0fhyk for making this.
Of course it would be nice if this was built-in into the CyanogenMod ROM for a more streamlined solution.
Mods can lock this if they wish

New Swype beta is out, brings 4-in-1 keyboard capabilities
The new Swype Beta for Android features a 4-in-1 keyboard and now supports voice as well as touch inputs . You can now draw letters one by one or just tap it, like on classic keyboard. The Dragon voice engine takes care of voice inputs.
Click thanks if its helps
MOD EDIT: Attachment removed
Posting Swype is illegal. You can only use Swype with ROMs (the same version, which was originally provided).

Anybody know of a way that we can change the microphone button on the Swype keyboard to allow it to link to the Google voice typing which IMO is far superior to any other voice typing out there, including the one included in Swype.
There must be a way to do this. Should be simple. Just wanted to know if anybody found and easy/quick solution. Because it's kind of a pain to have to drag the notification shade down and use the IME switcher every time you want to voice type with Google..
I know this has been requested by others on the feature request for Swype beta, but it has not been made possible/implemented yet.
Thanks in advance.
BUMP nobody has figured this out yet?
I've was talking to a friend of mines about keyboards without emojis and we remembered how BlackBerry's keyboard was awesome. We could make shortcuts for words and phrases. Emojis wasn't an issue. I was just wondered of anyone seen or know of a keyboard like that. I'm not sophisticated in making apps.
If you're reading this I'm in the beta
Not 100% certain this will do exactly what you want, but I've used it before and it was very customizable.

I prefer Google keyboard https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin
I use Google Keyboard and as far as I can tell it should show emoji amongst the predicted words. It seems from various guides I have seen I need to add the 'Emoji for English words' via an add-on dictionary from the language menu. I can't see the emoji dictionary in the list.
Is anyone else using the Google Keyboard seeing emoji word predictions?
