[Q] Swype - add/modify microphone link - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Anybody know of a way that we can change the microphone button on the Swype keyboard to allow it to link to the Google voice typing which IMO is far superior to any other voice typing out there, including the one included in Swype.
There must be a way to do this. Should be simple. Just wanted to know if anybody found and easy/quick solution. Because it's kind of a pain to have to drag the notification shade down and use the IME switcher every time you want to voice type with Google..
I know this has been requested by others on the feature request for Swype beta, but it has not been made possible/implemented yet.
Thanks in advance.

BUMP nobody has figured this out yet?

[Q] Gesture keyboard import possibility?

Hello together,
I like the new gesture typing fuctionality of Android 4.2.
A little while ago I used Swype and SMS to Swype to import all the dialect words.
For me, the dialect words are very important and to input them manually would take ages.
Now I am wondering if there is something with the functionality of SMS to Swype (app, setting, mod,...) for the stock gesture typing?
I couldn't find an answer trough the search functionality.
Thanks

Jellybean Calendar colour and keyboard - horrible

I've just updated to 4.1.2, and there's no option I can find to change the colour of the calendar. I hate the light background, I'm used to black background with white text, easier to read. Is there anything out there I can use?
edit: sorry, keyboard isn't horrible, I've found the swype keyboard which is what I'm used to But there doesn't seem to be the single word delete function anymore with the click after deleting any words in a sentence? It just deletes the letters in succession so you can't delete complete words with one click.
edit2: well I can do it in 2 steps. swype key highlights word then backspace key deletes it.
Doing a quick google search gave me this:

I suggest doing a google search yourself as there are several different versions of dark gapps available around the internet.
As for your keyboard, perhaps try out TouchPal Keyboard:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cootek.smartinputv5&hl=en
It's a free app, and it has a slide left on the backspace key to delete a word feature.
Cheers.

Will check them out, thanks.
By the way, I just found a post of the exact same problem I'm trying to solve with word deleting.
http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...o-delete-the-entire-word-when-the-delete-butt
The solution given of swiping right to left over the home rows of the keyboard doesn't work. Has anyone else done this with any success? It really seems odd to me that they would have removed the ability to do this.
As far as I know, Swype didn't have a swipe to delete feature...perhaps what the user is talking about is TouchPal? I've never seen another keyboard have this feature, I could be wrong though. Have you tried it out?
I haven't tried touch pal yet but definitely will do.
Tbh, I'm not sure the word deletion function was specific to swype enabled keyboards, it probably did it on non swype enabled too. Although I used swype all the time, I used to just hold the delete button down for a bit longer and it would delete entire words one after the other with a click after each word. So I wasn't swyping to delete but just pressing the delete button, yet sadly that feature seems to have gone now apart from the first and last words. Imo there's a few features in jellybean that are a step backwards from previous android versions.

Missing 'Google Input Method'

I am using Samsung's default keyboard but there us voice input microphone icon in it and now its missing. Find some solutions but after that I noticed that my Google keyboard input method is missing. Any ideas how to get it back and why it is missing?

I couldn't understand what are you actually missing the google voice typing icon missing from the Samsung keyboard or google keyboard? cause you used both terms together and confused me .

in my experience the mic icon is gone if you disable google now...
I'm missing the whole Google Keyboard from my phone in "Language and input > Keyboards and input methods". There is only Samsung keyboard and as I remember there was Google keyboard before.

That's not Google keyboard but Google voice typing input and I understood your problem I'll look around for a solution and get back to you soon.

No need to bother I saw that I have disabled Google Now (don't know when) and when I enabled it, as paco8784 suggested, it came back. Thanks guys.

Swype tweaks, Dragon dictation

Does anyone know a mod that will make Swype keyboard use Google instead of dragon dictation. I used to use swype tweaks when xposed was available but since is not I'm looking for a workaround thank you.
if you're using the version of swype that comes with a
touchwiz rom, the microphone button Does open Google voice keyboard.
Yeah I know, was just hoping to use the one I paid for. Thanks though
Just use the google keyboard
Google keyboard. It's a ok keyboard but predictions aren't that good to me. I think swype does it better.
Does anyone know how to theme the included Swype application that already has the Google dictation?
And/or, does anyone know the code to change the dictation from Dragon to Google?
I've successfully added the top number row mod to make it more like the Samsung keyboard but the themes are locked out in smali somewhere.
Either would would be an improvement. I've learned to get by without the voice dictation and use paid version with the added number row. I miss Xposed but what I miss more is the developers sharing code that we could use to make our own mods. Those were some fun threads!
Of all the keyboards I've tried to learn, Swype is still the most accurate for me, by far.
