Hello,
I use a magnetic card "NFC" to access my work place and sometimes the card like to get lost. I've seen a guy using his samsung as a replacement for the card, but refused to tell me how!
Is there anyway to get this thing working using the LG G3 as I'll be getting one soon?
The card type is Mifare 14443-A3 as scanned using some phone
Can anyone help in this thing?

I put in my friends sd card in my phone and it read it immediately...so I know there is something wrong with my card...other than my phone, I don't have a reader...should I get one?..so I can either format and try to save the card or at least get the data from it's not too important of data but it would be useful.

Yes. You need a card reader and the sd mini chip adaptor.
Do you BONSAI?
Since I don't yet know what bonsai is...(was about to root phone finally ), no, I don't use it...also, can anyone recommend a good card reader?

Most are the same. If you have a local Walmart or Best Buy go there. You can always return it and order a cheaper one online. The speed is usually in the chip, not the card reader.
Oh and Bonsai is the most awesome, stable, bug free ROM I have ever used. On 4.0.1 now and been with them since 3.0.1.
class 10. Brand new micro sd card, brand new note 10.1 2014 edition. Tried formatting. What am i doing wrong?
The pc can read the card...
The PC can or can't read the card? Does your tablet read the card? If so go to settings and storage and try formatting it there first. Then try it in the PC.

It should have been formatted correctly from the factory as exFAT.
We need to have more information about the exact problem to help you.

i tried it first direct out of package into the tablet. I took a picture with the camera and I was greeted with "Cannot save to sd card, switching to internal memory" So i went to settings, the tablet seems to be reading the card, but not writing to it. So i formatted it in the tablet, still a no go. Put it in my pc and it works just fine. Back in the tablet, it reads, not writes. Back in the pc, formatted in pc, back to tablet, no go.

U sure you don't have the lock switched on the SD card? And are you properly ejecting it each time you remove it?

I've been having the exact same Issue! It's a brand new samsung 64 g class 10 micro sd. Formatted on my tablet. Works when I add files on my pc but in my tablet I can't write to it, only read.
And when I download new apps with the card mounted it has errors, I need to unmount the card just to install an app.........
What did you decide? I can't work out if it's a faulty note, faulty card, or if we just need to live with it?

Damn! Turns out i got a fake too! I messaged the seller and i received a whole refund. I went to radio shack today. $49.99 for a REAL (haha) Sandisk 64GB Ultra sd card. They were very nice about it too. Had to go in the back to look for it cause there werent any on the shelf. As i was pulling out of the parking lot a screaming employee was waving one in her arms haha. Made my day.
Now only if we can get google to allow play store content to save to sd like my phone does.....
So I can't find an answer to this particular problem, I have 128 gb SD card installed in my LG G3. Phone reads it, computer reads it. I put like 300 songs and a bunch of photos on it. Both the music player and gallery read them fine. The problem is as soon as I restart the phone it disappears, in the notification tray it will show SD card installed, but when I go into settings, then storage , it is no longer there, then I erase the SD card, it shows back up instantly, and I can use it like normal again, problem is I lose everything every time I restart the phone. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks
it is fake

What do you mean a fake? it works fine, all the songs play and the photos show up, but it all disappears if i restart my phone. I am not doubting your knowledge, I would just like to know, I mean, I was under the impression, if it was a fake, you wouldnt be able to store anything on it in the first place or it wouldnt read at all?

What brand is it and how much did it cost?
On most fakes you are able to write, only you can't actually store the advertized capacity...
Not sure of the brand, bough tit for $30, i knew it would be too good to be true, but i figured i would take the chance, oh well , i guess time to get a new one
Lol.yeah for 30 bugs 100% fake. There only real SanDisk 128gb and they are like over 100$
Dont buy microsd on ebay or Amazon. Buy from stores where you can return **** like microsd

Thanks for the info,So let me ask this, for being fake, how come before I put anything on it, it shows up and says 125GB free, then allows me to put songs on it and photos up until I restart it? I'm just confused, I thought it would either be labeled 128gb and only be like 32gb(but you would see that in the info) or not allow you to put anything on it at all?

Hey guys,
received my phone with replaced screen. All working fine now HOWEVER got a one silly question, is it possible that the company that did it inserted into the device some kind of tracking device or some tools that could hack my phone/sim card etc? I know its silly but just wondering, and please be serious
Thanks

Why would you send it off to them if you don't trust them....
In theory they could have done but the likelyhood is probably not.

Use a pin to open the tray, it comes all of the way out.
