Jst saying what up too all the Devs, Themers, Testers etc....I'll be joining y'all soon. Finally said f-it and decided to give up my OG Epic for sumn a little newer...didn't really want to but I hear nothing but good things about this phone so. Welcome to our forum man, check out calkulins el29 2.9.2 rom after you get rooted. It is imho the smoothest rom and the best to start out with. Stay away from ics builds at least until you are more experienced with how things work on this phone.

Unfortunately there aren't many kernel devs for our phone. I have made a GB kernel with some added governors / IO's but haven't released it because I don't even use GB anymore.
Waiting for final build of ICS so we can get source.

But I have been asked to flash my sister in laws phone tomorrow and I would like to set her up with the most stable and best battery life ics rom you guys have. If you could suggest a few to look at, that would be awesome. Thanks fellow gs2 owners.

Blu Kuban is a really good ROM.
You'll get different answers from everyone, many swear by blue kuban as the person above me. I had a bad experience on it. I'd check out AOSP ics, it's relatively new here but well developed. The jelly bean alphas are more stable than many of the ics roms to be honest

I suggest AOSP ROMs.
For TW I think Blu Kuban and the goodness are pretty good. Definitely flash agats kernel if on TW. As for AOSP roms they didn't give me very good battery life but every phones different. Good luck.

Your correct,this is strictly a biased based answer.Shadows Gods latest build is giving great battery life.Worse part is you could find her something,flash it,and she not like it.Hope you reach you objective.

The point is, I want to build a ROM for you guys. I want to build a touchwiz and also AOSP based Rom..
For my first ROM, I am inspired by Jovy's xtremeperria but want to implement the xperia feel on the AOKP ICS 4.0.4 7/15 ROM as I feel that is one of the most stable and smooth ROMs.. but would like to tweak it..
For my touchwiz ROM i already contacted ptmr3.. he went on vacation so i dont wanna bug him hehe
I know you guys know me as the guy who talks like borat and trolls threads and yall cant understand sh** but after my experience of that damn HTC phone i am happy to have Samsung and want to give back.. I want to introduce new things in these ROMs.. so ....
My first request, can someone help me on how to implement the sony launcher in the AOKP rom, and how to make all the widgets and such work..?

For this, simply take the .apk out of ExtremePeria and place it in system/app in your ROM and delete the other launchers.

That rom is perfect and alot of it has to do with cm9. You should make it better by using CM10.

and its a bit slow for me but when i browse youtube see some awesome features of this phone
i found so many awesome things about costum ROM
what i want is im really hard gamer in phone ^_^
So i will be so happy if someone will guide or teach me what
is the best Costum ROM and kernel also its settings would be the best in gaming
im more happy if u can give me some links

you might want to try cm9 rom, or other cm9 based rom optmised for gaming there are a lot actually.
