Hi, I just installed MyMobiler on both the HTC One M8 and on my PC.
I can connect both via USB and via IP, but in neither case do I get to see my screen on my computer.
I have tried all 4 display options.
What does work: if I click the home icon on my PC, the phone switches to the home screen. Back and menu button don't seem to work.
I can use my PC keyboard.
Has anyone managed to get the phone display to work with the HTC One M8?
Thanks
at the beggining it is hard but then you are going to get used to it

If you have figured this out, I would love to know. I cannot get my PC to connect to the phone through USB or WiFi. EDIT: Gave up. Used a Google Chrome extension called VYSOR that works almost as good as MyMobiler
Well, I have it ALMOST figured out. I can now run the software on my desktop and my mobile device. I do get "a" screen appearing on my desktop. Unfortunately, it is just a black screen and NOT what is actually shown on the mobile device. I can type text onto the desktop image of the black screen. That text does show up on the mobile device if I am in a text msg input mode, for example. But, the mobile device image is not transferring to the desktop. Where is the help I need???
EDIT: Problem solved. Using VYSOR, a Google Chrome extension instead. Works almost identically to MyMobiler

You can use your Touch HD (and any other winmo phone) as a webcam with microphone!!!!
through activesync you can get about 7fps and the vid lags a bit, but if you dont have a webcam and a microphone then it will do!!!!
http://www.brothersoft.com/webcamera-plus-87319.html
install on PC & phone - connect phone through activesync - launch client on PC - and it launches automatically on phone!!!!
its a trial version, and you have to restart the app on phone after few minutes, if you want a full version of it, use www.google.com
Is there some special trick to get this to work?
The PC recognises Webcamera plus as a webcam, and the program fires up on my phone when I try to use it, but I cant get the picture to show up on my PC.
Ofc I'm using WM 6.5 and Windows 7 RC1 on the computer so might be that it simply wont work but it would be really cool if it would
Edit: Never mind, I got it to work. The trick was to go into Tools - Settings in the program on the PC and hit connect, seems like it won't auto connect properly.

when the program opens on Touch HD- in left bottom corner - it shows stop (means that its sending video to PC through activesync)!!!! you should see the video in wbcameraplus program on PC!!!! -- im on WM6.1 and WinXP
check if you have equal ports in webcameraplus->settings on PC and PPC.
I also had some problems when launching the program but I got it to work, dont remember how, cuz I have all the big exams at school now and my head is full with them!!!
Great, will try it later !

Hi
I have a big issue whereby when I connect my desire to my laptop as a disk drive I am unable to copy any files across.
My computer recognises the phone and opens up windows explorer (albeit very slowly) but when I try to navigate around the folders it just hangs until i get a notification telling me that windows explorer is not responding.
I have tried 3 different cards, all with the same results. In addition I have had my phone replaced and both the old phone and the replacement are the same. Have also tried 2 different cables.
Cards have no problem connecting in a card reader.
I am using windows 7 64 bit. I am also unable to connect to HTC sync.
I am convinced that this is a windows 7 issue. I am aware that others on the same OS have no issues but I can't see what else the problem could be.
Anyone else had this issue and found a fix?
This is now driving me insane so any help would be most appreciated.

have you checked you have the latest drivers installed on your computer for your phone?
also make sure your usb cable is connected to the main usb ports on your computer not any hubs or anything
First of all you have to install the "windows mobile device center"
When you connect the HTC to your computer, there pops a window up, where you can choose, between sync and fast data travel. have you tried this out?
if the window is not there go to settings-->connections-->USB to Pc and change it there. (not in the touch flo settings. there you have to go to MORE and there are this settings)
maybe this helps
Cheers, stephan1
sorry cgrec92 ... I was writing this while you posted your answer
Thanks for the response guys.
Have tried connecting via all 4 of the usb ports so this doesn't seem to be the issue. Have also uninstalled the drivers and then plugged the device back in to reinstall drivers but with no luck. Have also downloaded the adb driver from the net but with no joy.
Is mobile device centre not exclusively for windows phones?!
Keep the ideas coming!

Erhhh.... are you aware that this is the Desire forum, which is an Android device and not Windows Mobile?
To the OP: seems to me that you've tried everything connected to the phone/cables, but haven't tried connecting to a different PC. I've no problems with Windows 7 x64, but I would suggest that you plugging your device into a different PC.

Dave
I've got exactly the same problem, it's rather annoying now.
It used to work fine up until now
Hi Guys,
I have a huge problem with my HTC Touch Pro 2, the display is broken but still working partly. But I can´t activate the Active Sync mode while connecting by USB cable.
So the problem is that i need the contacts, sms and calling history.
The only thing I can connect to, is the device as a hard disk so i have access to the SD card.
Is it some how possible to activate Active Sync without activiation through the display?
May be it could boot together with the device or something like that.
Actually I need the active sync connection for using the Mymobiler Software so that i could run PIMBackup and backup everything.
Or is it somehow possible to backup those things without using active sync.
Please help I really don´t know how to deal with this pitty situation...
tuch screen still works?
Before you broke display when you connect usb on display show popup with device connection options? May be better buy new display. I buy new display and tuch screen and pay for repair totall less than 50 usd.Display, touch screen.
The Touchscreen works only partly, well when i try to connect the device with USB, I see the screen where i can decide which type of connection I´d like to choose but its only partly and the part which is needed for connecting the phone by active sync is still in the part which is broken.
You don't need your screen for setting up a connection do you?
Are you really using active sync of windows mobile centrum. You could try that, it is available on windows vista / 7 if you connect your phone, and then search for an windows update, it should show windows mobile...
Can you get into the start menu, into settings and change the USB connection type to always default to ActiveSync?

I have installed SideSync in my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE and in my Windows 7 computer but it doesn't work properly.
They connect successfully but in the PC I see a window with the proportion of the phone screen in portrait mode and then the image of the phone screen appears appears rotated 90 degrees, occupying all the width of the window in the middle and the rest is black. Also, the blue circle that you move with the mouse and represents the finger doesn't act properly, as if the coordinates were messed up.
I tried with another Note 2 (this one not LTE) with same results. I also installed the app in my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 tablet and the same happens here. The image appears rotated and the phone can't be controlled with the tablet app.
Hi:
Did you ever figure this out. It just started happening with me as well.
Thanks.
Same here with rooted stock ROM 4.4. 2 N7100XXUFND3 on Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
SideSync 3.0 version shows 3.2.7.1215 and works via USB connection under Windows 7
me too.... was ok the last time.. really hope there is a fix for this.
same here
hi, i have the same issue. I have Windows 8.1 and two phones. Note 2 has the same issue as described by jedikalimero .
Second phone is galaxy S4 and that works just fine on the same computer (with the same cable).
I have found an article about enabling USB debugging, but that did not help.
Any fix to this yet?? funny enough I installed a custom rom on my Note 3 which was a port of a Note 4 and it finally started working but I left that ROM for another flavor and it's back to this stupid issue.. Such a shame..
Same problem here!
Did anyone find a fix for this?
Thanks!
still ni fix
for real? no fix?
what are other Mirror cast that I can Use on my PC??

You can use TeamViewer. It works great and it comes in different flavours, depending on what you want to do. There is a host app and a server app. The server app lets you control your Android/IOS/Windows Phone or tablet with your Windows/Linux/MacOS PC and the host app lets you control your Windows/Linux/MacOS PC with your Android/IOS/Windows Phone or tablet. And with the desktop app you can also control another PC.
Sometimes I have left my Windows PC turned on in London and have controlled it with my Note Pro tablet or my Note 4 phone from Tenerife, even downloading files from the PC to my phone.
I just want to see the phone screen on the PC, to play some games
team viewer I already try but there is not this option

There wasn't. It is a new feature. you have to install Teamviewer in your PC and create an account.
Then install TeamViewer Host in your Note: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamviewer.host.market
You have to log in in your TeamViewer account when you run it so your phone can be associated with your account and appear in the devices list of your PC TeamViewer.
The app will also ask you to install an add-on, so allow it and you are ready to go.

There is now also a TeamViewer Host app for Samsung that allows not only screen mirroring but also control from the PC (or Mac). But if you installed the original Teamviewer Host, it probably has already asked you to install this special version and remove the regular one so chances are you already know this
SideSync works but I can't control the note 2 from my PC when you click on Phone Screen, I use my mouse to swipe and try to unlock the phone and it don't work, the drop down menu works only if you click on the the button at the top in the middle ,the button thats hidden with 2 lines in it and can't click on anything, the back and menu buttons at the bottom don't work too.,any ideas..?
Hello,
My HTC Desire 820 screen died, but the phone still works, the screen is black, I receive calls fine but now I'm trying to get my files from the phone and the problem that I must confirm the USB configuration settings to MTP which by default is set to charging.
What is the solutions I can do?
I think to connect the phone to the TV through MHL cable, install file transfer APP (send anywhere) and transfer the files to another device, will this solution work?
