As many people flash nightly roms fairly often, do you use CyanDelta so that you can expedite the process?
As with every flash you need to re-install all apps, do you use ZIPme to create a zip of all apps and flash them together with the new rom?
I am thinking of using ZIPme to create a zip of all apps and use CyanDelta to flash nightly roms daily and add the apps zip to be flashed what do you think?
I am asking as I am not sure if these 2 apps work well, especially together.
Any feedback/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I have a quick question, right now im in recovery awaiting to install OMGB-6, and I've heard that after you install if you flash both GAPPS from CM7 and the new market there are no market glitches (causing some apps to be not found on the market).
My question is how do I flash two things together in ClockworkMod? I know how to flash a single zip at one time, how do I flash two things? Thank you!
There is no way I know of to flash two files at the same time. The standard way of doing it is to flash them one after the other without rebooting.
Thank you, thought so
First let me say that I know I'll probably get blasted for asking...but anyway. I just downloaded the Destroyer AOSP ROM. I've tried to research and find out how to load the Market..with no success. So can someone please tell me how to load google apps...specifically the market? Thanks.
I'm not familiar with this rom, but always like to lend a hand when I can...
I know some AOSP roms don't come with the google apps you are referring to. I flashed cyanogen a while back and it had a separate zip file for google apps that needed to be flashed after flashing the rom itself. I believe it was just called gapps.zip. I've been using MIUI for the past 5 weeks and have zero intention of ever flashing another rom again. (Yeah, its THAT good)
It may or may not work, (nand before you do anything!!!), but you could search the cyanogen threads for this gapps.zip that will give you the market, maps, places, etc...
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck though!

Hi guys. Thinking of installing the Leedroid ROM on my phone. Currently have Android Revolution HD and as you might know a few hours ago I went through some troubleshooting that had me praying to God Almighty because I'm a bit of a noob and I got really worried. Lol
Anyway, I know how to flash ROM's and Radios but how do I flash kernels and ROM "Extras"?
It was flashing an "Extra" that got me in the problem into the mess in the first place so I just wanted to confirm how to do it properly. Also, is flashing the kernel as simple as flashing a ROM? ie:
-Boot into CWM
-Nandroid Backup
-Wipe All
-Install new ROM
-Make sure it all works
-Back into CWM
-Install kernel zip from SD card
?
Thanks very much guys.
When I installed leedroid I installed rom then straight after the kernal without even rebooting. Worked fine for me.
I'll give it a shot later. But still how do I flash extras? Like a Sense 3.0 lockscreen for Leedroid?
Put it on your ssd and open it up in a file explorer (think leedroid has astro) and just run it and it will install.
If that doesn't work for an extra then boot into CMW and install it via zip, but if I recall correctly that won't work for the lock screen and has to be done via opening it up in a file explorer.
If the addon or kernel you've downloaded is a zip file, the easiest way to be sure it's flashable in CWM is to open it up in 7zip, WinRar, etc. and see what's inside. If there is a folder called "META-INF" then you know it can be flashed by CWM.
Most zips are CWM flashable, but some won't be, especially fonts, bootanimations or splash screens. There are usually instructions in the threads for these, though.
Kernels are often built in to the ROM zip, but if you want to change your kernel I recommend jkoljo's tool:

I'd also suggest doing a nandroid backup after flashing the ROM and making sure it all works, before flashing anything else, especially with some of the addons that are still in development. It just gives you a bit more security if you need to roll back.
I have been installing updates to aerovan's CM9 rom, which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1561816. In the thread he states that it may be helpful to update to a CM9 based CWM and he gives a link to the .img file. I have found methods of updating CWM on other devices, but i'm not sure if it works the same for Dinc2 or if the methods are too old. What is the correct method for updating CWM on the Dinc2?
Also, I am curious as to if there is a way to install new versions of aerovan's CM9 when they come out without having to install apps over again and lose data. I have used appextractor before when changing ROMs, but I would like to know if there is a better way to keep apps and data.
I appreciate any help. Thanks!

First of all, which apps do you mean? System or user? Second, do you wipe /data with every update? Because I don't recall reinstalling my apps when updating from a nightly...
I only use CyanDelta if there are mods that do not have backup scripts that restores the mod with every update.
