After doing some research I found a website that claims that it can root the note 4 Verizon.
Could somebody please confirm if this works?

Thanks
According to the comments below the article, it is only for the Dev edition. Bummer.

If it's just root your after then I would suggest this method. Kingo Android ROOT Google it :good:
Is it safe to use this one-click root?
Kingo app is great! I've used it for my i9192 few times now and for a quick test I've root'ed Defy Mini XT320 with one click

Hi guys, like all of you i have been waiting patiently for root on my VZW Note 4. Upon doing a little research i found that Chainfire has rooted the note 4. I went to his website to see if the SM N910V is compatible and according to the site...it is!!!!!.......
Can someone please verify if this will work on the retail version on the VZW SM N910V.
Thanks

IIRC thats for the dev ed.
Ah crap. I was afraid of that....
Thanks man. Just out of curiosity, what would happen if I was to attempt that?

You may brick your device. It is of course possible to bring your device back from such a disaster but you can avoid that by acknowledging that the Dev. Edition has an unlocked bootloader unlike the retail Verizon model which is why it was easier to root. I would wait for another method.

Sorry, you cannot root your retail version of the Note 4.
No. Developer edition note 4 only has root
I found this YouTube video claiming to be a tutorial to root ANY note 4 device. To my knowledge no root is available for non-DE versions. My device is the SM-N910V which the video claims to be able to root.
Is the devoloper edition the same model code or is it different?
Here is the video.

I downloaded it, afraid to trip Knox trying
Chainfire is legit tho..

I'm pretty sure this only will work with the dev edition device.

You are 100% correct. Without the file being signed by Samsung it will not flash on a locked bootloader.
