Hi,
According the instruction of aftvnews, I rooted my aftv. everything looks normal except the remote, since that, the remote gets sensitive. sometimes It will go forward quickly.
what about yours? How can I adjust the remote?
thanks
This happened to me a few weeks ago for a brief period randomly, but only in kodi/spmc. It seem to have corrected itself after a day or two.
Maybe try updating the remote control firmware if you haven't already. There's a guide on this at aftvnews.
Failing that, maybe also try to unpair then re-pair the remote. I know with bluetooth devices generally, this can sometrimes help fix odd issues.

Is anyone using the latest version of SixAxis Controller on their GNex with a Nightly of CM11 built in the last 2 or 3 months?
It was only after a long time after finally upgrading to CM11 that I noticed some weirdness that sort of makes SixAxis Controller unusable for me with a lot of things.
Basically, in Preferences, if I have either "Gamepad Settings > Enable Gamepad" or "Keyboard Emulation > Bypass IME" set, there is a -huge- delay between D-Pad/button presses, and them actually registering in anything...plus, the direction/button needs to actually be held down for a little over a second to actually register...or it needs to be rapidly tapped. If I just press and release something once, it never registers. The thing is, with Enable Gamepad checked, the analog sticks work as they should, with 0 delay or other weirdness.
If I leave both of those options unchecked (so it's just using the SixAxis IME to send keyboard keys and buttons), that works totally fine in everything I tried. The problem with that though is that there's no way to use the analog sticks that way to have them act like actual analog sticks...you can just have each direction mapped to send a key/button.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app...wiped the settings...reset the controller and re-paired it...tried a 2nd controller that I've used earlier with no problem...none of this has fixed it, and it still acts as described above
Well, after trying an X360 controller over OTG, and then serveral PC gamepads over OTG, I found out the problem wasn't just with the PS3 setup. I was getting the same weird button lag/need-to-hold behavior with -any- gamepad setup that wasn't piping keyboard keys through an IME.
So, I spent the day backing up, wiping, and flashing my Galaxy Nexus to see if the problem was ROM-level or what, and...the problem was gone...so I spent the rest of the day restoring, disabling, and tracking down just exactly what I had done to break it in the first place.
The problem ended up being: the 'Xposed Additions' module available for Xposed Framework. It has some hardware button-remapping functionality that seems to have been interfering with any sort of native gamepad button presses here, even though I wasn't using any of the remapping options.:silly:
Sometimes my Moto will recognize my voice as I'm saying it an execute the command quick, like I think it should all the time.
Sometimes I'll say something and it'll take forever, and sometimes completely fail. I can then open my phone and do a voice command with immediate results, so it's not my connection.
I removed commander and autovoice which seemed to help some at first, but I'm not sure it made a long term improvement. Removing some apps I didn't use from the watch also seemed to help some, freeing up RAM.
Is too much of the voice processing happening on the watch instead of the phone? Or is there a bluetooth issue? My S4 processes voice very quick almost always.
Anyone else experiencing this? I can't seem to find any time this does it more than others. Quit or loud room, doesn't seem to matter.
Any suggestions would be a great help. I use the moto for voice commands a lot and it defeats the purpose of not pulling my phone out when it takes so long.

That one.
My old, decrepit galaxy s2 has what you describe but worse, sometimes phone bluetooth just turns off and can't turn back on... but mine is probably broken and dying.
Try re-pairing, cycling bluetooth on phone, or changing roms to one with a better bluetooth stack
If your S4 processes it fine, then it certainly is the connection between it and the watch. If cycling the antenna doesn't work try resetting either device, and if you're running a custom ROM check its dev thread for any BT related issues.
Going to try flashing an updated ROM. Currently on GoldenEye NB1 and going to update. I will let you know if this fixes the issue. Thank you two for your help.
Problem fixed
So I deleted the 360 from my phone's bluetooth. Then reset the 360. Upon reconnecting this time it worked great and has been excellent in recognition for a couple days now. Not sure what the difference is now, but it kept me from flashing my phone.
I know a few people have had similar questions but mine is just enough different that I thought I'd ask.
I used to be able to cast from youtube on my macbook air to my first gen fire tv. I sold the mac and now have a Lenovo laptop running windows 10. If I go into youtube (in a chrome browser) and hit the "cast" button one of my three fire tvs doesn't show up & the other two don't work.
Has youtube casting been disabled? Is there a three sided battle going on between Google, Amazon & MS for control over the cast landscape?
Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance.

If it's working on your other fire tvs then logically casting wasnt disabled.
It's happened to me several times. Some fire devices are unavailable on the network and not sure why. I don't think I ever did anything to fix it--just moved on and now, in rare instances I try to cast, all my fire devices appear.
*You might want to try power cycling all them, including your router. See if that works.

it's NOT working on any of my fire tv's. Two of them show up on my laptop; one of them doesn't. But, I can't cast to any of them. So logically I asked the question.
Sorry you're having the same random happenings. I don't think random events are very logical.
Hopefully someone else will have resolved this issue or can confirm that Youtube casting is dead.
I had the exact same problem...and since im on the original firmware. (51.1.1.0) i did Nothing. I stopped using the fire tv. Im just now getting around to completely wiping, re--rooting, and going to install a newer firmware to try to fix it.

I wasn't trying to be snarky when I said "logically" but I did admittedly skim your post and saw devices were showing up (missed the part where you said the ones that did appear werent working.)
Im at work. And I only cast from my phone/tablet. Last time I tried (sometime in the past 2 weeks) it was working.
Still thinking network issue. Try reboot. Another observation--Fire TV casts fine, no lag but I find it's inconvenient for me. From the time I hit the cast button to the time it actually plays the video, for me, takes 30 seconds or more. There are scenarios where it's definitely more convenient but its that long start up time that made me sort of evolve to just opening the YouTube app on aftv.

And I appologize for over reacting and piling on the snark.
I don't think its a network thing since I can cast from my phone but I'll try rebooting everything.
Hello everyone! I have a basic, stock, NON-ROOTED FireTV. It is completely stock, and the FireTV box has already been replaced once for a new one for this exact problem...
So here's what's happening, anytime I watch something on my FireTV like Hulu or Netflix, the FireTV stops responding to any remote signals.
I think it's my FireTV's fault and NOT my remote's fault because I have brand new batteries in the remote.
This is incredibly irritating as you can tell because the only way to fix this is to complete unplug the entire FireTV, and that's difficult since it's hard to reach there.
Anyway, has anyone heard of this happening?
Thanks!

My 2nd gen fire tv does this every once in a great while. All I do is pull 1 battery and put it back in. That fixes it immediately. I'm not sure why they lose sync with each other.

mine used to be absolutely perfect the first year i had it, then i think around the time the homescreen layout changed that's when this non-responsive stuff started happening with that firmware update.
I’m not sure what exactly was “optimized,” but I (using mouse toggle) clicked the power optimizer and upon resetting my fire stick 2 automatically, I can’t pair my remote or WiFi to it. I’ve tried new batteries and I’ve tried holding down home for 60 seconds, select for 60 seconds, and even both for 60 seconds. I also tried 5-10 seconds, keeping them right next to the receiver. I apologize if there’s an easy fix for this but I’ve been looking possibl solutions up for a couple days and I’m out of ideas
Ditto...
I feel your pain — literally. I’ve spent 16+ hours since yesterday when my dreaded Kill All Apps ”clickedy-click” happened. I had an empathetic chuckle as I just came across your post during my umpteenth Google/XDA/Reddit search.. So, decided to join XDA [though been a fly for yrs here] just to say I’m afraid we’re outta luck & hardly alone. I can’t recall which app killer that did me in as I downloaded 3-4 of them from Aptoid to test out — though I think it was ATK? Thought I was “safe” since it’s not rooted and I’ve used similar apps without issue on several rooted phones over the yrs, but... hard lesson learned.
My issue is neither of my remotes (FS1 & 2) will pair, nor will any remote control apps for my droid, iPad, or Amazon Fire though this seems a fix for many, so might wanna give it a shot? I even dropped my Router (Xfinity- Arris) security — stick is still a no show, no ping.
Oh well, off to setup the ol’ 1st gen stick. Though I can’t blame Agenda 21/30, err, I mean Amazon, for this, after hrs of researching the “issues” I’m not so sure there’ll be a 3rd always-listening Alexa device in my collection...
Just a thought, have you tried connecting a OTG cable to the fire stick to add keyboard or mouse support?
