Hi Wonder if anyone can help?
I downloaded mirror beta from the app store to mirror my Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T210 to my apple TV3g.
Once downloaded i was informed that the device had to be rooted, so I used Kingoroot and followed the instructions. Everything was fine during the rooting process and completed informing me that it was successful.
The problem is after this the Tab is stuck in a constant cycle mode of the Samsang GALAXYTAB 3 boot logo.
I have managed to power it off ( Black screen) but have been unsuccessful in getting the device into recovery mode to try an hard reset.
I have tried all the button combinations I could find on Google but it only just shows the galaxy screen. Any help would be much appreciated since it is my daughters tablet and ill be in a valley of it if I cant get it restored.
Thanks in advance
Have you tried to Boot your Tab into Download mode?
If this working , flash Stockrom with Odin.
I'm in a similar situation with the logo boot loop except I am unable to shut it down. I hold the power button for 10 seconds and it reboots right back to the logo again with no shut down. How can I shut this down?

I got in the same situation trying to root my Tab. I wound up holding the power button down a really long time and then gently releasing; then I booted it into recovery and there is an "unbricking your 10.1 " post on XDA that has a stock 4.2.2 link.
Once you get the thing into recovery, and it took several attempts (like for two days)- I had given up and was thinking I had finally truly bricked an android) I got it into recovery and then used Odin to flash the original stock rom and it worked. Then Samsung almost immediately downloaded the OTA and I was at 4.4.2 stock.
The sd card slot is broken, so I am still trying to get the tab rooted, but for now just having it functioning in stock form is better than that Galaxy emblem slowly flashing every 5 seconds until the battery dies (Itried that too, thinking it may somehow recharge and reboot and something would be different-no such luck)
But I found holding the button down persistently made the difference, at least it seemed to.
Good luck

Hi everyone,
I am new as a poster to the forums here. Have been a lerker as needed for a year and a half or so now. Anyways, I have run into an issue with my S3. I have not attempted to substitute a custom ROM in place of the stock ROM, nor have I rooted the phone (I know, shame on me right?). When I awoke this morning, after a night charging, my phone now is stuck in a boot loop. It reboots and shows the battery charging spinning wheel sequence but never passes to the green battery indicator (Tested the battery in a friend's S3 and it is recognized and shows as being fully charged). After a moment it vibrates the screen goes black and when it comes back on simply remains in that same location. When holding Vol Up + Home + Power it attempts to start Recovery Mode but immediately fails and restarts taking me back to the boot loop. When holding Vol Down + Home + Power download mode remains on and working without issue. However, I tried to restore the stock ROM with ODIN and though it passed it remains in the boot loop (likely due to the fact that I was unable to wipe the phone in Recovery Mode first). Also, attempted Heimdall but it crashes. KIES is all but useless as it does not recognize the model SPH-L710 according to the error message given after entering the IMEI ID. Also tried pulling the battery, waiting, and then replacing but to no avail. Swapping batteries also does not resolve the issue. Have also remove additional SD card to isolate that from being the cause. So I am now turning to the excellent and knowledgeable community here for assistance. Thank you in advance for the help. Hopefully you can point me in the right direction.
Sprint Galaxy S3 LTE 16 GB
Model : SPH-L710
Thanks everyone,
Merlen
Sounds like it might be power button failure. There have been many reports of it. It's referred to as SDS, or sudden death syndrome.
hello every one i have another gs3 with another boot loop issue. so on first sight the phone looks good. it will turn on and show the screen saying "samsung galaxy sIII" but after that it goes black and 3 seconds later it vibrates then another 3 seconds and it vibrates again and then 3 more seconds and the boot screen is back displaying "samsung galaxy sIII". it will not boot in to recovery mode, however i can get to odin mode or download mode. it has never bin rooted, and it has stock rom, but i did try rooting it throu odin mode and it failed multiple times as well as the phone would display "unsupported format"? i have seen this before and it ended up being a power button and well i tried replacing that with no effect. i also noticed that when you do try booting the phone into recovery mode it will say "recoverybooting" in blue letters at the top left hand corner but just keeps boot looping, i need to recover the data on the phone since i was going to back it up but could not do it in time lmao!!!! any help or suggestions would be appreciated, i have bin at this for days now and my chances are looking dim some one said reinstal the stock rom throu odin mode i guess my only question is will reinstalling stock rom wipe my data or no?

Hello, everyone. A couple of days ago, I dropped my tab s while I was sleeping. When I woke up, I found that it was stuck in a boot loop. Since, I've had this problem twice before, I wasn't worried since the problem solved itself by waiting it out. However, this time it is just stuck in this screen
imgur . com/a/sLA22(can't post links, sorry. Just delete that space after imgur. ) . I've tried to access the recovery mode to no avail, so I googled and tried to install TWRP. To do that, I've installed Odin and downloaded twrp tar file for my lte edition tablet. I believe that the installation went smoothly, imgur . com/a/JlVvz but no matter what I do, I just can't get into recovery using the volume up, home button, and power button combination. I have even flashed twrp multiple times. Please help me because I have no idea what to do.
P.S: My tablet runs stock marshmallow.
I solved it. I did more Googling and found someone who suggested to hit the area near the power button; I did just that in addition to taking off the SD card for no reason and let my tab charge to 100%. So, if you can't get into recovery, and your phone is stuck in the Samsung tab s screen, try what I did.
Hello everyone,
Yesterday when I was going to use my tablet I noticed it was off, but minutes before it was on, so I tried pressing the power button and nothing happened, plugged the charger in, nothing, no signs, it seemed bricked, so I tried to power through download mode and it worked, after that I pressed volume down to cancel it to start normally, the first samsung logo showed up (that one that says the model and stuff), but it was there for really long, i left it running and after 5 mins or so it changed to the pulsing blue samsung logo, left it there and about 30 mins later it was back to the 1st samsung logo again. I also tried a soft reset and booting to safe mode, didn't work either.
This tablet has no custom rom installed (I think it is on stock 4.4.2), the only thing different I installed is TWRP and root, years ago, but I cant boot to TWRP through the vol up+home+power, it doesnt work, tbh it never worked since back then, the only way I found to boot to twrp was thru "adb reboot recovery" using adb, which didnt work in download mode, I want to be able to backup some data before flashing it with Odin, so here are my questions:
1- Is there any other command I could try to force it to boot to recovery?
2- Is there any way to backup data via download mode on this device?
Thank you for your attention
Okay so I'm having a bit of trouble. I recently got a new, well used, but it's my second Tab S, and for the life of me I can't get it to Root or get my Rom's flashed.
I go through the same process I do everytime I redid my old Tab S, but for some reason every single time I get stuck on the opening boot screen, and it never ends and is impossible to turn off except by entering download mode. Which is when I reflash the stock firmware using odin and try again, but it just keeps happening.
It's been almost 2 years since I first did this on my old Tab S, and I remember going through a hard time then too.
Why is it that the first time is always so difficult? Is there something I'm doing wrong?? How do I fix this???
Someone delete this thread if at all possible please, only minutes after making this thread I successfully did it finally. lol
Hold POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN until the screen goes blank then immediately change to VOL UP whilst still holding the other buttons until recovery boots.
