I have a problem with my HTC Desire 816, whenever I try to search for network, I have error: "Error while searching Network". I have error on any builds nightly cm12. Latest build 09022015 have error. I used internal roaming in Polish network Play. I set T-Mobile, Plus or Orange manually.
I did always wipe data, cache etc. On cm11 nightly and stock 4.4.2 function works correctly.

I just bought a new unlocked HTC Desire running Android 2.2.
Everything seems to work fine but when I scan for Wifi networks I get the message "Unable to Scan for networks" when I choose to Add Wi-Fi network, I get the message "Unable to Save Network".
I tried the restore factory settings but still I get the same message.
Please tell me how I can fix this issue. Will updating the radio to the latest one help? I am running the 32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.20
Thanks.

Hi,
I flashed my ROM with CM7 Nightly recently and now I am unable to scan any WIFI networks. When I switch on Wifi it says scanning and then it drops and the scanning re-appears within a few seconds This is happening continuously.
Note - flashed the radio too to the latest but didn't work

Try Re-Booting
Try Re-Booting the HTC-Wildfire and then trying your WiFi Settings again, if this does not work you can then try Re-Booting your rooter/hub by removing the AC Plug from the wall for 30 seconds and then Plugging back in and wait 5 minutes then try again to connect otherwise please try a different radio or Re-Flash a different ROM to your HTC Wildfire (Buzz).
Hope I helped

Run an RUU and S-ON, using the guide in my sig. If it still doesn't work, send it to HTC as this is obviously not the ROMs fault.

i am new to custom roms and etc...
i have installed the cm10 beta successfully but i had no network/signal, i went to system settings-more...-mobile networks-netwirk operators and tried both search networks (mine is Vodafone contract) and select automatically but it comes up with "error while searching for networks"
i reverted to the cm9 stable version and installed it successfully hoping that this would resolve my problem but it hasn't, i done the same process stated above and the same thing happened.
are there any patches or updates etc that i could use to fix this problem.
i have searched the web and found many devices have had similar problems.
i would really like this fixed asap cause i like the cm9/10 but this problem has stopped me from using them, please help!!!
Hi folks,
I have a problem with my HOX, whenever I try to search for any network it just says "searching" for like 2 minutes and then there appears an error saying "Error while searching for network".
I'm currently running on CM 10.2 stable build. Unlike other threads that I read related to the same problem, I have everything working. Phone automatically selects the best network available, Internet works fine, IMEI number and everything shows fine.
The only major problem is I'm not able to explicitly switch between network operators, and it has cost me a couple of hundred bucks extra in the phone bill when I could have easily saved them.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Piyush

The boot.img file is in the ROM's zip only. Just open the zip file in 7zip, winRAR, winzip or whatever and you should see the file right there.

Hi,
After flashing one of the CM11 nighties I started getting the message "error while searching for networks" when as msg says searching for networks, I found out too I can't use any USSD code I get the message "Connection problem or invalid MMI code" however I am connected to my local network and able to use LTE.
Flashed the latest modem version and for some time it works but now again it doesn't work, attempted flashing again and issue persists.
Attempted a newer version and switching to Paranoid and issue also persists.
Help?
My device is a SGH-i747m from Telcel (Mexico).
Does this happen with a completely stock ROM?
Sorry for late reply, my phone got bricked
Anyway, I was able to use USSD codes again after going back to 4.1.1 stock, therefore the problem is either 4.3 or the modem upgrade which disabled USSD codes.
