I have an issue with my hox, I am running ARHD with the kernel included. The problem is about the battery % stat,it's not updating correctly, for example battery is 80%,I use the phone for 5 mins then suddenly its 72%,at 2% it lasted 1 hour on full brightness. Also it does not always update after sleep (for example I go to sleep, battery is 50%,when I wake up is still 50%,after I use it 1-2 mins is 45%). I've tried to do a full discharge, charged the phone to full while it was off, booted it then charged it some more, deleted the batterystat.bin . Problem still occurs and it happend on other roms (for example MIUI V5). Any ideas?

Installed Leedroid froyo over stock rom.
Replaced the radio with recommended one.
Installed the kernel.
SET CPU= Smartass
Problem: 8-9 hours standby time. No wifi. Phone on 3g network.
New problem: Phone's screen is not getting off automatically since i updated the kernel.
Please help. It is driving me nuts. If I use gtalk for about 2 hours, battery is drained off in 5 hours.
Its a brand new phone and battery had a days back up on stock rom with conservative usage.
Was your battery at 100% when you flashed the radio? I had to recalibrate my battery after flashing a radio on my standard Desire when the battery was at about 50% as I was only getting about 6 hours standby. See here for recal method: http://www.xda-developers.com/android/calibrate-your-htc-desire-battery/

Did that. The only problem am facing in this is when I achieve a green light and 100% with the phone switched on, the moment I shutdown/power off the phone to charge further, the CWM recovery console comes up with a backlight and the orange battery indicator never turns green (even after 1-2 hours).
So at orange indication only I wiped battery stats, and thereafter there was no improvement in battery life.
I would advice to wipe all (backup first of course), install the ROM again, monitor the drain with nothing installed (except battery monitor widget).
I usually do a test in flight mode (target=2mA)
then with phone ON (data ON/OFF doesn't change a lot for me) (target 3-4mA)
!!! disable all autosync !!!
If you have the same values I will say that it's ok.
Then add one by one your kernel, account sync, appli an monitor the drain (at each step).
You will find what is draining your phone.
Do not forget that the drain is subjectif. In GPS I have often more than 300mA drain!
Where do I download the battery monitor widget?
you can download it at HTC widgets for battery monitoring.
Current drain is at 250-300. That too in standby. Gps off. Wifi off. Don't know what is happening
Airplane mode it is 134
I have a problem with latest version of Android Revolution HD 6.1.0.
Yesterday afternoon I fully charged my phone and used it only a little bit until I went to bed and turned the phone off.
Today when I turned my phone on again (fastboot) I was shocked: Battery was at 25%.
How can the battery drain that fast over night while turned off?
I am using the correct Radio (12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19_M), Superwiped before flashing new version of ARHD and also cleaned battery stats when it was fully charged.
Can you please help me finding out what is causing this?
I´m not getting that much battery life out of my HTC Desire HD either when running ARHD 6.1.0 ... Is there any RADIO that could help?
Weird - I have similar problem with 6.1 Revolution.
Battery seems fine all day, put it on my bedside table last night at over 80% battery...woke up this morning with 2% battery left!!
really weird.
Matt
I'm gonna download Current Widget now and enable the log option and see what is happening in the log overnight.
Post the log up then and see if someone can take a look.
Any news about this? I feel that mine is dropping rather fast aswell..
Saturday i installed 6.1, installed applications and used the phone.. At a total screen was on for 4 hours... After a total of 5 hours, the phone was down to 15% battery...
Does application installation take that much or is something not quite right? I feel that i had more batterytime with 5.2.4..
Now i can basically see the battery values dropping while using the phone.. I have current widget and sometimes when i start the screen and go to home screen it says way above 500mA, is this right?
Well i don't have any issues, while using ARHD 6.1 with the recommended Radio

How have you managed to have Display use up so little battery?
Mine always has about 75% and up, at the least...
I use Autobrightness with no Mod for lower Autobrightness.
I have nothing changed.
Flashed recommended Radio.
Flashed ARHD 6.1.
Done.
As you can see some harder Battery drops, while i was playing some Games. All time WLAN on. But i used it als always and had a very nice Battery expand.
Hmm, How much time is your display turned on? as i said, this saturday after i had flashed i emptied the battery in about 5 hours with screen on 4 of those.. Feels like the screen is taking alot of battery but i guess.. I had full brightness, not auto..
I don't know exactly but i would say display was active vor 15h+.
Autosync runs every 3h.
If you freshly flashed, it will take some time to stabilize. So maybe drain it until its empty/almost empty(10%) then get a full charge. Try to reboot and watch again. If you still have problems you schould install current widget and let i generate log. where you can see how much it drain if display is off and/or phone is standby.
If I put on screen from standby and check current widget i have 3mA/5mA. So if display is off the drain is very low.
Hi today i've flashed the new 6.1.1 rom from android revolution i tried many times to wipe istall with no mods change kerner (franco r9) but the

Anyways, have you filled your sd card up by anychance?
i ask as i notice massive battery drains if i have less that 1gb left on the card, the phone becomes hot and sluggish.
it runs slower than android 1.5 on the g1, and is impossible to use. once i managed to delete the files it took my phone about a hour to stabilize again.
just a thought
Wipe all caches and then wipe your battery stats.
Then give your phone a few charge cycles for the battery to stabilize. Things will definitely improve.
i'm not filled the sd card and ok i can try to wipe all caches (already did about 10 times .. lol but why 2 days ago with 6.1.0 all worked fine and yesterday when i flashed the 6.1.1 battery drain is heavy and even if i go back to 6.1.0 battery drain still persist.. it's strange very strange..
you must have something running in the background which is keeping your phone awake even when your phone is screen off. go to the thread here download the app and fully charge your phone again and use it as normal and keep checking the app specially in the partial wakelocks and see what drains the battery the most..it will be the first thing on the list.
and then when you check the screenshots post them in that thread to get some more help and explanation on what is eating your battery
i'll try with the app but the thing is strange because i've the same apps installed than before this happening
hi,if your android rooted, try "One Power Guard" download from onexuan.com,It can help you extend battery life .

Hi all,
my battery life has gone wild somehow since I went back to Stock rom with Stock kernel (base 4.18.401.2) - I only used ROMCleaner to get rid off apks like facebook, twitter etc. Brightness is stock default and after 36 hours of usage and 04:50:59 hours of screen on I still have 44% of battery left I attach screenshots, but HTC Sense got only 1,8% of battery drain !? I guess I won't reboot this phone anymore ) I have absolutelly no idea what's going on.
And suddenly it drains from 40% to 4% .
So my TAB S is a few months old like 3 months now
I only installed few top rated APPS and everything is working fine, i use it to facebook and youtube and reading and some emails, i rarely game on it
2 days ago something very weird started to happen when battery reached 30% the device slowed down and froze up and rebooted on it's own, when it boots up , it forgets the wifi password, and the battery is like 15%
freezes up again after 30 seconds of using , and again reboots, forgets wifi password, battery level is 10% , a minute later same thing battery like 4% HOWEVER
IF I TURN IT OFF ,AND PLUGGED IN THE CHARGER IT SAYS 29% AND CHARGING.... so the battery level from within the OS is not true and it freezes and reboots and upon that forgets the password of the wifi
I DID NOT ROOT IT , I TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF IT
now i tried draining the battery all the to 1% and 0% then full charge , and it wroks untill it reaches 30% - 25% then problem all over
if i plug it in the charger and use it , it seems fine
what could be the problem and do i have to factory reset?
