http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2685932

but i already exclude the fota... because when im not going to exclude that it will be stuck like forever in flashing.... and i dont have the cwm now i cannot open it now...and i have a question does my bootloader is still unlock? because i unlock it... from the very beginning...
Well, if thats the problem you will need pc companion maybe...but the data is lost..
I dont know about that, sorry mate..

Hey guys, earlier I managed to sucessfully unlock the bootloaders and thought i might try to install one of DoomLords Kernals, the Kernal initially loaded and I went to install the wifi module zip. Afer I did that, I tried to reboot but the phone was not rebooting so I thought instead I would try to relock the bootloader anyway. I happened to have installed one img file from a video on Youtube regarding the Xperia S.
I think I might have installed the wrong img file and now I and now I can only enter the fastboot. Whatever I do i cannot get back into the system. I flashed a generic stock rom 2.3.4 just incase I had lost the system files, once I connect the phone to the computer the PC Companion seems to recognise the phone but I do not see anything?
What have I done wrong here and how do I fix this problem!!?!
Help will be well appriciated! Thanks!
PS: Sony Update Service says " The phone has modified software that cannot be updated ".
"What have I done wrong"??
U CAN'T randomly pick IMG files and flash like this buddy...you're lucky u don't have a brick.
Now I suggest you download the update manager from Sony and connect your phone go back to stock. Forget root, forget unlocked boot loaders..
Sent from my RaZr NeXus.
Flash an ftf file, tutorials are everywere, and to relock the bootloader for our device you have to flash another ftf file somewere.
The method hasnt worked.... the phone still does not switch on.... here is the log data from flashtool...
Have u tried Sony's update manager??

I just fixed!! Thanks guys so much! I really appriciate your help!!

omg im so noob.. its ok now.. please delete this thread.. thanks
I did lots of stupid things one of them was flashing a custom rom made for ics since i still got gb it got my phone boot loop. Then i searched about this, a guy said that he could reach to his recovery mode by spamming the back key while the phone loops. When i tried amazingly it worked then i immedieatly wiped dalvik cache and battery stats(or smth). Then i head in to the place where you can mount and unmount things i formatted /data and the other things with /. Now i have found the ultimate solution: flash the stock rom. But i cannot reach to my recovery mode. I have installed CWM to my device (and also rooted) before everything happened i remember i activated usb debugging mode(won't be a problem).
NOW I KNOW YOU ARE KNOWING SOMETHING ABOUT THAT PHONE BUT I DON'T PLEASE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO?
any help will be appreciated and btw sorry for bad english i hope you can understand what i am trying to say .

Actually I don't know what u mean
But if u want to use custom rom base on ics, u should power off ur phone(or pull the battery out and put it back) and flash stock ics firmware
And u will need to root ur phone again with a software called eroot
And install cwm again if u have a locked bootloader

Hello there,
I need Help from you all.
I've been searching and google for a long time for how to make my phone alive back T.T
I'm using Xperia Play.
recently, i'm trying to change my phone ROM.
But maybe of my mistake i end-up by my phone stuck after SONY ERICSSON logo.
It become Black screen after that ..
so many time i try to make it into cwm but it fail .. i even try pressing vol down , vol up . back , and many other ..
but it wont go to cwm again .
What i do?[when i in cwm to flash rom]
1. i have clear [dalvik, cache, data, and anything that must clear]
2. i mount /system
3. flash rom
4. flash g-apps
5. flash hotspot [fix]
6.reboot
and then . This What Happen.
The worst .
when i plug my phone to pc . The pc can't detect usb debugging [WHEN BLACK SCREEN]
i even not backup anything .. [That is the worst]
OK here the recent try that i done
->>> I try to make my phone into fastboot and it work [by pressing search key then connect to pc /flashtool]
then i pick that thunder image and take fastboot.
I'm trying to flash kernel by this LuPuS_zeus_Stock-gB+iCsv7-full and it said that my phone is UNROOT!!!
*I got some idea: is there some way to make debugging turn on [in fastboot, cmd command, application or anything when it stuck after the sony ericsson logo .coz flashtool said that i can connect but my debugging is off and it not in mass storage state ...
Is there is still hope to make it live back?
I really love That phone . I really love it .
pls help me
As i see it, your bootloader is locked, you have (had) recovery for locked bootloader and you tried to flash custom rom and custom kernel. "it won't work" is short description, long description is your entire first post.
You have two options:
A) Unlock your bootloader and try flash kernel and rom again (you didn't say what model you have, so it might not be even possible)
B) flash stock firmware (ftf) with flashtool or even better, use pc companion to get your phone back to life

You can find a ton of stuff here ^^
So find your stock ftf file (depending on what version of phone you have) and flash it via flashtool. Hopefully you still can. Give Google a shot if you need instructions.
Or go here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2054486
PLEASE USE THE PROPER FIRMWARE FOR YOUR PHONE. You may cause irreparable damage to your phone if you flash the wrong firmware.
Sorry for the all caps, but I just want to make sure that I helped and didn't cause any more issues. Best of luck for you.

Hello guys... I'm new here... but I've already follow lots of your instructions to help me out
The problem is... I have a Xperia ZL that is 1 yo... actually, it's 1 year and 1 month old... (yep, here in Brazil Sony delayed to release thei products, now it's a little bit faster, we already have Z3 in stores )...
The phone was rooted with towelroot and working just fine... suddenly it didn't recognize my SIM Card no more... then it just started to act strangely... the band signal was blank and there was a red X on it... then the phone stopped responding at all and started a infinite loop of restarts... just bought a new blank SIM and transfered my number to it... NOTHING HAPPENED.... I started search into the net, the forum... some attempts and nothing... so I use the Sony PC Companion to repair my phone... nothing new... then I use flashtool and the newest firmware "C6503 10.5.1.A.0.292" for it.. the phone started to work again...
I was using it for 2 days and suddenly (again) the same symptoms happened... no signal at all... then ... no phone at all... it starts... the a black screen with the "back" button and the "no signal", battery and time... when I try to pull down the bar it's RUSSIAN! (and I got the brazilian firmware)... then the phone restart... SONY..XPERIA... same things... nothing new...
I've tried to repair with PC Companion... flashed and REFLASHED with the firmware... and NOTHING... I thought it could be the SIM... but it's working on other phones....
Guys, DUNNO what to do... but I'm desperate!!!
HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

Frnd, install Catlog-Lofcat Reader application from playstore and let it monitor your phone in the background for sometime. See if there is any 'error' in processes related to your problem. Error is indicated by red colour square box with 'E' inside it

My suggestion,
Steps
1) If your bootloader is unlocked, relock your bootloader
2) Now goto flashmode, use flashtool to install your firmware which previously worked fine for you.
From your previous post, i could understand that after a fresh firmware update it was working fine for 2 days before the same problem started to appear.
3) Once the OS loads and home screen appears, goto playstore and download catlog and let it monitor until the problem occurs again.
We will see from your log.....
I suspect this could be a software issue. Try using any older firmware....

What are the ftf files that you tried flashing using flashtools.give me the full version nos
You mean to say, after flashing your ftf file via flashtool this time it is going to bootloop
and it's not working for 2 days like it did before.
As previously said try download and flashing any old firmware(preferably jellybean) ftf files which has got good reviews that it worked.See if goes into bootloop without booting into homescreen
Don't worry if you have not done anything to unlock bootloader it will still be locked. Don't mess up with bootloader if you are not sure about what you are doing.
If it is unlocked it will ask to relock when you use BLU button in flashtool

I said that the when the problem appeared for the 1st time I flashed the phone and it worked for 2 days... then started looping again... but now I can't make it work anymore.. doing flash doens't change the loopings... I'll try an old version..

K once you install a older ftf firmware file, reply me back with the results.(Preferably any jellybean version Example-10.4.1.b.0.101(Be sure to download your country variant)). If you are able to goto flashmode, i am sure that you can revive your phone. What i meant by full version no is nothing but 10.5.A.0.230 or 10.5.1.A.0.283 etc. I guess your ftf file is not proper thats why you are going into a bootloop. Like i said download any old firmware file and flash it.
If you had already unlocked your bootloader using BLU button in flashtool, now when you click BLU button it will give you and option to 'relock' instead of 'unlock'. If it shows 'relock' it means your bootloader is unlocked.
See my replies in the below thread to understand more about what could cause bootloop problems....

Sorry to hear that frnd. Seems something is really messed up in your phone.
I guess since you tried flashing different firmwares it might be a hardware problem causing this issue. But to be sure about which part (SIM related issue, could even be issue related to TA partition ) caused the reboot issue, i need to see the logs which will be easy for you to collect if your device boots properly, which is not possible for your case .
There is another way to collect it but you should have already enabled 'USB Debugging mode' in your mobile the last time it worked. Anyway try and select if it works. Check below link to see how to access logs. Even if we get logs if it is hardware related issue you still need to get it to sony service center.

It is upto you. I could still further down on this issue but it is upto you. I suggest you, take your mobile to service center if they cannot do anything/if they say you should use it as a costly paperweight, get it here we will go on with advanced tracking methods/we will even try unlocking your bootloader and try flashing custom rom to see if it works. . But beware, i am NOT responsible for any further damage if it happens to your mobile...
If you further want to take the risk Private message me i will give you my skype id.
