Anyone use Chrome? Is there a way to go back to the previous webpage?
Slide up from bottom?!?

It takes too much effort to use bookmarks in Ice Cream Sandwich. The menu does not give an option to go to the bookmarks. Instead you must go to the open tabs selection screen first. That's far too much effort for something that is used often. As well as the menu, the bookmarks are not listed in the Quick Controls option either.
Please add them on the next update.

Good tip thanks
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Long-press the back button will default to the "History" tab.
You must swipe to the right to go to the "Bookmark" tab.
And you must do this every time you want to access the bookmark.
Every single time ... Long-press, swipe right, press bookmark ... repeat ...
That's not efficient, long pressing and swiping then press

Which one? The "Quick Control" ?
There is no option in the Quick Control to access the bookmark!

I don't have a GN, but I agree, that looks like an issue. I like having 1 touch access to my bookmarks. It might get kinda tedious doing what you described
I agree this is an issue, but as a work around, I put all of my commonly used ones as widgets in a single slot on my home screen. That way I can always just hit home, then hit the favorite link.
I do this on my iphone as well, so it's nothing new for me, and I would likely use it this way even if they were easier to get to.
Most of these issues will probably go away once we get all of the decent 3rd party browsers working for ICS (Dolphin, etc)
The Ics 4.0.3 browser has direct access to your Bookmarks via the quick controls. Finally.
Hopefully we'll end up being able to choose our own quick controls..
I agree with this thread, a button to get to the bookmarks with 1 click is necessary.
Yes this is very annoying oversight. Hopefully will be addressed promptly.
This problem is addressed in 4.0.3. This version adds a bookmarks selection in the quick controls.
You can see it in this video.

Here's a screenshot as well.
What can you do now with the Quick Controls? Can you list all of them?
Thanks.

Any way to get rid of the Google search bar at the bottom of the home screen? It is annoying and I never use it.
Thanks!

Your rooted so check out end of this thread post #565 from @Tulsadiver, he shared a couple files to remove search bar plus a couple features.

It's funny, because before I had no use for it. I'd always stick with opening chrome and typing in the search area there. For the last year now I've been using the search bar widget on my homescreen and seriously can't go without it. I barely even open Chrome anymore. And even when I do use a customer launcher time to time usually Nova...first thing I do upon setup is stick that search bar right at the bottom lol.
Goodmorning,
I'm very happy with my honor 20 view, but I can't find out how to close just 1 opened app. When I click the bin, all opened apps would be closed.
Someone knows a way for this?
Thanks in advance!
Just click on recent and instead of clicking om bin, just swipe that particular app up and it will close.

Wow... how simple can it be. With my older phone I had to swipe each app in the bin, so I tried to swipe down and no... that didn't work
Thanks!

If you swipe down on an app it will lock it in place and will not get rid of it from the background.
Hi, my problem is that everytime I exit an app from landscape mode using the swipe gesture the entire phone would momentarily be in landscape before reverting back to portrait mode. This is really annoying, is there a way Samsung could fix this and let me go back to my homescreen without having it rotated?

Would the GoodLock work? I use gestures but I dont like the back gesture that Samsung has baked in. I use the samsung goodlock app along with the module one hand operation to activate the android back gesture.
