Awesome Rom
Nice rom

Nice Rom Dude But i had one problem. I had no Root after flash your rom and i dont know why

problem mounting a 64gb sandisk sdxc
Anyone having issues mounting a sandisk 64gb sdxc? It appears I had trouble mounting it, but when I mounted my kingston 32gb version, it mounted perfectly ok and no issues. seems like a 64gb version has issues mounting. Also I clean wiped my system just to be clear. I think it perfectly mounts ok on 5.0.1 version and doesn't on 5.0.2

Process to flash the rom
Hi, I am on 4.4.2 stock sense rom and I just rooted and unlocked bootloader.
I saw earlier that with SkyDragon and other existig ROMs, I would need to flash some firmware. But for that I would need to be S-off which I am not.
Is there a procedure that I can follow without bricking my phone.

sound mod?
hey, how do you get and install that v4a sound mod. is it in the rom or...
im a bit skeptical about flashing this rom, as its not gpe and i don't know how stable it is... +it lacks boom sound :/

you can update your firmware without s-off. sunshine is too expensive
actualy the latest kitkat firmware is compatible with lollipop
go to ARHD blogspot and search for the firmware collection for the m8
you just need to relock your bootloader (make shure to save your data as it will wipe ur device)
then you can flash it, and you can unlock your bootloader again and flash your custom recovery

Sense Photo editing?
I've installed the rom and it's great, really smooth. Just wondering, can I edit photos like in sense, such as ufocus and dimension plus?

I've read that some Roms don't require S-OFF ,I didn't see any S-Off requirements on the main thread.
Will I be able to just flash from the latest Sense OTA with just an unlocked boot loader? (came from Moto to HTC )

if you want to do OTA updates, yiur bootloader needs to be relocked and you need to have your stock recovery. if you want to flash firmwares, you can do it without S-OFF but relock your bootloader for that

Eye experience?
Just wondering
1. Does this rom come with the latest HTC eye experience or any kinds of camera enhancement? I heard that the photos of GPE are worse off without the Sense software, can someone comment on this?
2. Is the next update for this rom around Dec i.e. until the Lollipop arrives on GPE M8?

Can someone answer the FIRST question? If the answer is no, can I flash eye experience over the rom?
Help! Strange issue root breaks when I try to flash update. Tried full wipe. Dirty from 3.6.0, everything I can think of. Your stock rooted version works fine. Tried flashing supersu manually. No love. Any ideas? I've tried everything I can think of.

Hi. Can you tell me if the Rom comes with eye experience? If not how's the camera compared to the sense base one?
I think it'd the same camera that has been with this rom for a while. It works fine for me.
Hey guys I am having some issues getting the latest version to install correctly:
A. I just recently did the RUU conversion to rooted-stock GPe (I was Sense before with unlocked bootloader and S-Off)
B. I installed TWRP for the one m8 through the TWRP manager app
C. When I try to install any of the 3 ROM versions here installation seems to end prematurely at the initial "preparing system" step...
D. The phone boots but randomly restarts during initial setup.
What could I be doing wrong???

Run SinLessROM without root
Hi Guys,
I would like to run the SinLessROM on my M8; however, I would like to know if it is possible to remove root access completely, because my banking app does not work on rooted devices.
I am also currently S-ON, which will not change until SunShine is updated to a future version (incompatible).
My bootloader is unlocked and I am able to gain root.
Any help appreciated!
Cheers,
Tolotos
Don't know about that but iirc there's a xposed mod that gets around that for some apps you might try that
Let me know if it works I'm interested
I will let you know. Unfortunatly the Barclays app is listed at http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.devadvance.rootcloak under "Apps with calls most likely can never be directly intercepted by Xposed". I will see!
Cheers,
Tolotos
Cant seem to to send mms with new messager app.. Any idea why this is happening? ?

WiFi Issue
Hi there,
I too am getting the WiFi issues with this. Same as kennonk on page two/three.
I installed SinLessROM_GPe_v4.0.1.
Please advise, thanks.
ROM is working very smooth, update to latest GPE Firmware yesterday fixed my Wifi issues. Only bug i have right now is my bluetooth connecting to my car, it doesn't hold a connection for more then 10 seconds. Kinda weird, happened yesterday all of the sudden. Anyone else experiencing issues with bluetooth?

Are you on the latest GPE firmware? That helped me out
Maybe the next version will be based off the official stock Lollipop GPE ROM coming anytime now ?
HTC planning to roll out Lollipop to Google Play edition devices this week

HTC's Mo Versi indicated on Twitter that the vendor is targeting Lollipop rollout to GPe devices this week.

[Q] Can custom rom's firmware base be different then what my phone came with?

Hi everyone, enjoying my awesome M9 like everyone else =D
and its time to move on to the custom rom goodness.
I can't seem to find an answer to the question. (maybe its too obvious? coming from s3)
Mine is a M9 (hong kong), with 1.32.708.15 (s-On) and all the custom roms are 1.32.401.17 based.
Is it safe to Flash it?
This is the only info i managed to find at the ARHD 5.0 OP with regards to the question.
"- If your current firmware version doesn't match ROM firmware version, wiping data inside AROMA is highly recommended!"
Would be nice if I can get some confirmation from you guys.
Yes it is fine right now since it is the same base. Get soff while you can so flashing firmware in the future is easy. Remember always backup first. Use twrp 2864

I did this on the M8 before, I had problems with the wifi and it took ages to boot until I found out that my firmware is old and different from the rom.
Anyway, I did what you are trying to do yesterday, (firmware 15/ rom 17) for a couple of minutes, didnt find any problems.
Before you flash any ROM, BACKUP your system and move it to your PC and use the latest TWRP
Thats good to hear! I'm gonna give it a try once i'm back in town! Thx!
Please Help me!
I have a HTC (M9) Verizon, and base is 1.33.605.15, it is advisable to downgrade the base to 1.32.401.17?? (for install customs roms with this base)

if i upgrade to the LP bootloader (then flash a LP TW-based, no-knox rom) and later decide to go back to KK, can i simply flash a KK bootloader then restore a KK backup/nandroid? or would odin prevent me from doing so?

You don't need to flash a kk boot loader, lp bootloader is backwards compatible with kk.
Just flash your nandroid.
I recently flashed the Swiss Lollipop Rom and I want to downgrade to KK because the wifi is very unstable.
I'm very new to Samsung world (including Kies, odin) so I would like to have a little clarification.
My tablet was a UK rom with CSC BTU, then I flashed swiss lollipop (CSC BOC).
Is it ok if I flash this file http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/43720/T700XXU1ANL1_T700BTU1ANL1_BTU/ with odin?
Do i need to flash something else? (bootloader?)
That will be fine. No need to mess with bootloader, though the Rom will already contain the bootloader.

Bootloader for Lollipop 5.x question.
Hello, I have a V500 and I'm still on stock factory Jellybean 4.2.2 ROM but am rooted. If I want to upgrade to the stock Lollipop 30A international ROM or one of the Lollipop 5.1.1 ROMs floating around which bootloader should I use? Thanks in advance!

Nevermind. I got bored and got the courage to flash the 30A Korean ROM. This is what I did.
- First I upgraded TWRP to 2.8.7.1 via Flashify.
- Then I rebooted into the new TWRP recovery and made a Nandroid backup of my 4.2.2 setup.
- Then from TWRP I flashed Skin1980's 30A Lollipop zip file and made sure I cleared cache and Dalvik after install.
- When prompted to install SuperSU, I installed it. Then it will reboot.
- Upon reboot the tablet will update ~141 Lollipop files and all my data was intact!
Basically, I followed the post here.
Hopefully LG will release a US version of the Lollipop ROM. Good luck!

Back to stock rom with S-ON

Hello guys,
i'm an owner of HTC one M8, with unlocked bootloader from htcdev but with S-ON.
I just want to go back to stock rom, because every custom rom i try has some issues (battery life mainly too short! I dont know if this is because of firmware, i
dont know how to update it or even how to see what is my one now).
But, the only guides i see are with S-OFF devices. Is this possible to to it with s-on?
Also, i would be s-off if there is a still working method, i've seen firewater one doesnt work anymore so there are no other solutions.
EDIT: at least guys, can you tell me how to check and/or update my firmware?
You post this on wrong section .. should be in Q&A ... I'm asking a mod to move this thread to Q&A
Read this thread, it is for both S-On and S-Off to get back to stock - http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
First thing to check is fastboot getvar all result (delete serial & imei no.) then we will know what you need to do
Try MIUI7 rom

listen you can try MIUI based rom for htc it have great battery backup compare to the other marshmallow based roms,
so you first try miui rom(4.4.4) for htc , it have some bugs like google text to speech isnt working but battery backup is awesome. rom is stable though. and you cannot rollback to stock using ruu when your device is S-ON , use sunshine for S-OFF, lol pay $25

Ok i would like to not pay lel.
THE PROBLEM in using custom roms is, i think, the firmware, because i just flashed trough fastboot the roms, without updating any firmware.
I tryed Android revolution HD and Skydragon but booth had battery problems, i mean the battery was going down too quickly also with screen off (from stats, in 6 hours i say 3 hours deep sleep, 3 hours 300 mhz cpu so it didnt "relax"!
I really want top say thanks to ckpv5 that helped me in PM's and linked me his own guide to restore to stock rom, it worked and it's all perfect! Thanks man!
Just a last question: now i have the stock htc one rom, so i'm doing OTA's. This means my firmware is automatically updated with them?
So if in future i want to install a custom rom MM based, i won't need to flash firmware?
Yes firmware is updated with the OTA .. after the latest OTA 6.12.401.4, you can install latest TWRP and install MM custom ROMs .. no need firmware update anymore
Very well, thanks mate.
for the moment i'll leave the stock rom.
I will use a MM custom rom when they will be based on official MM rom for htc one m8, and not porting from M9/A9

There have been MM based Sense custom ROMs since before the new year (Viper, Skydragon Sense, Wolla, ARHD).
S.ROM is the only A9 port.
