Hey fellas,
i gave my father my old HTC ONE X rooted with the ARHD Rom. But the volume during calls is pretty low. It is increased on max level.
Is there any Audio Call booster or something like that?
Thanks!

Same thing here, only I gave it to my father-in-law. He's says he can barely hear it and he's asking when I'm going to give him my m8.
I think i fixed it.. You just have to clean the speaker holes with a toothbrush, but try not to push the dust inside. My father said there is a difference

Hi,
I received my tp2 a fews days ago and i begin to play with it.
My previous phone was a TyTN2 (that i use every day too)
I find that up front speaker have a very low volume and it's very hard to ear the caller (no pb with TyTN2) even using max volume level.
Does some notice this problem ? Is there a registry tweak or a special config to unlock phone volume ?
Does SRS WOW HD works on tp2 ?
Thanks in advance
Moo
I, as well as some other people noticed this too. Let me ask you this question first: do you still have the factory screen protector on? If so, take a real close look at it. Took me a day of thinking the same way you did before I figured it out.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes I have removed original screen protector because on my first test I see that speker was behind the plastic protection. I have actually the screen protector which is given with tp2 package. I will try to install SRS WOW HD which give good improvement with my TyTN2.
Moo
Ok, it was worth a try. Don't know what to say, I find that the volume is more than adequate. The SRS WOW might overboost the wrong frequencies, unless you can adjust the midrange to compensate.
Good luck to you.
haha i was having the same problem till i realized the original protector that came with it was covering the speaker...
my top speaker/the one use for making calls sounds like a cheap pair of headphones when the volume is above 8, is anyone else experiencing this?
Yes......... I was hoping I was the only one, but it seems it's not so.
It cracks alot, including ringing. I'd like to know how other phones are, as I am going to return it and go with the Titan 2 if it's common (vs exchanging).
It happens only with volume at 9 and 10 for me also.
does anybody else have this problem? its starting to get on my nerves
The one you put next to your ear during call? No mine is fine.
Did either of you do a wet "skin" install?
get a can of compressed air and blow in it.. gets rid of any potential moisture

Let your speaker dry and do not use it till it dryied, else the moving parts that are glued together may loose their connection and the distortion will stay permament.

open ur phone case n try to make it dry with fan, maybe
I have experienced that problem as well. You just need to dry your phone, until it completely dry, using hair dryer is expected. Just expose with it, wait until you sure, and it'll be work

Put it into the rice!!! It saved my touchscreen, and it was COMPLETELY wet!!

Hi TiTAN-O-One,
I hope, your problem is gone for now, but perhaps it would be helpful to know what you can do, when such unfortunate happens.
This phone is really easy to disassemble and reassemble. Replacement parts are not expensive and almost everywhere easy reachable.
I had to replace my internal speaker because it sounded distorted. I bought the part and with some tools i replaced the internal speaker with the proximity sensor earphone jack and upper michrophone (these are all on one unit). You will find an accurate guide on youtube on how to disassemble and reassemble your wonder without damaging it. It's quite easy.
In case it gets wet it is the same, you can safely disassemble it, dry and carefully clean parts and thats it. All you need is patience, some time, and the tools described in the youtube guide.
I did that and my device is still up and running. If you decide try, thats the way...
Hope that this little guidance helped! :fingers-crossed:

You're welcome!
That's good luck for you that your speaker did not take a major damage.:good:
But watch out, because these electronic parts can be easily be damaged without any other option than replacing them.
I use my phone with silicon case and above that i have a carrying bag too.
Wolud be nice for this phone to (at least) be waterproof. There are some casings that can make our wonder waterproof, but they are way too expensive by sametime not allowing a confortable use of the device.
I have a bone stock un-rooted T315 with poor volume levels. I sure would like it louder..
Any suggestions?
Thanks alot for your responses and comments.

Have you uh, tried increasing the volume? Because I'm not having this problem at all. Or It could be that your earpiece is defective.
You could try Voodoo Sound, but since you're un-rooted you'll have to get the pro version. And I can't comment on how effective it is since I haven't tried it.

Has to be your phone! I have the same device and when I push the extra volume button its so loud its like having it on speaker phone!!!!
Damm, I guess I have to contact Negri about sending it back.
Thanks
Ok. I have the T315..
And I went to Best Buy in St Louis and bought a Zagg screen protector and they installed it.
Little did I notice that there is no earpiece speaker on the model they sell.
The zagg was covering my ear piece.
I went back yesterday and the nice Samsung lady pulled back the Zagg....snipped out a hole with tiny scissors.
Then reinstalled it..
BAM!!! I got volume now..
Thanks to all who tried to help.

Ah, the old plug-it-in-the-power-socket trick!
The speaker grills are misaligned. The bottom one is slightly right of the center.

That's good because my left eye is 1/16 of an inch higher than my right eye.
Wonder if its specific to the color of which One you go. Ran my phone through a CMM at work and I'm seeing only a -.005 difference on the left compared to the right. Which should be a tolerance.
Our Q/A would accept this.
Not nearly as annoying as the fact that one speaker is louder than the other.

This can be caused by kernels just so you know. Also, it can be a factory defect cause both of mine output an equal amount of sound.
