Download Samsung Android USB drivers here

Tool I used to identify the package - FX file browser
Folders I looked in to locate the packages/apps
\system\app
\system\priv-app
In these folders I looked at the the files and saw that they were ENABLED. After block command they were no longer ENABLED. I also saw active applications disappear from the Application manager.
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU DAMANGE YOUR PHONE. THIS WORKED FOR ME AND IS CURRENTLY WORKING, BUT DOES NOT GURANTEE THAT IT WILL WORK FOR EVERYONE'S SETUP.
ATTEMPT THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
My PC is windows 7 pro.
1. PC: download and install Samsung Android USB Drivers
2. NOTE4 : go to developer settings and turn on usb debugging
3. PC/NOTE4: connect phone to PC and unlock (screen lock). Set to MTP for USB connection settings
4. download and install 15sec ADB/FASTBOOT
5. Open command prompt as administrator
6. type "ADB devices" enter
7. you should see response "List of devices attached" and next line with ID and device
8. If you see the device listed then copy and past the commands from the excel spread sheet. You can do this individually for confirmation or you can copy the whole column and let it do it's thing.
Every item on the spreadsheet I did on my phone and confirmed that it's off. I've been using it for couple of days and had no errors or force close of any apps.
Feel free to post your findings if you think others can be disabled.

duplicate thread.. mods please close.. thanks

But you can disable most bloat anyways without disabling. I'm confused as to what this is actually accomplishing.

Some apps you cannot disable from the phone. With this method you can disable those too, namely Knox and 'AT&T Software update'.

Nice work. I just rolled back from the newest update to the one that came with my phone. I had issues after my phone auto updated. Blocked everything you had listed on your spreadsheet. I'll follow up if anything is amiss. Thanks again OP.

Did anyone try this on a Note Edge?

if you're using fx file explorer, you'll see "ENABLED" in green by the bottom when you go to info of the APK or package before BLOCKING.
after blocking the package, go back in to info and you'll see the "ENABLED" gone.
to test, you can take the app Evernote. disable the package and you'll see the app dissapear from the app drawer, and when you unblock it it'll come back.

to elaborate, and using evernote as the example, take a look at these two screenshots. if you are confused, they will help clear things up.
in FX explorer, long press on the package name for the app you want to inquire about, in this case we want to inquire about evernote, so in the system/app folder find the evernote apk, Evernote_ATT.apk in this case. long press on it and press "details" you should see a screen like:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
now when you run the adb command to block, you should see something like:
this particular case, as insang-droid mentioned, you can check the app drawer, but not in all cases does the app show in the app drawer, so use this method to check in those instances.

One problem tho, i followed OPs app list and disabled them successfully but now my smart select action isnt working properly. Im guessing one of the packages handles it butbim unable to pinpoint it. Still checking packages but im not so hot at this. Any ideas would help!

I just went over the batch file op provided and i dont see that service in there so i dont believe i blocked it. I also checked the list of services added on the excel spreadsheet and its not on there as well so im assuming another service is disrupting it

Thanks.. I work in architecture.. I'm frequently writing all over plans.. part of the reason I got this phone. Thinking I could do minor markups if the situation arises.. and when we take pics for field surveys.. I can now make notes or other markups on the pics so when I am back in the office 2 weeks later I know why I took a specific picture for example.

Can't buy an app on market after purchasing it on amazon and uninstalling?

I've decided to uninstall the Osmos app I've recently purchased from the amazon app store to buy it today on the android market from the sell they are having. Problem is, the android market is stating that the app has been purchased when in reality it hasn't. so I can't purchase it/install it from the market. I've tried going online to the web site market and found no solution. Has anyone experienced this and tried/know a fix to this problem? I really want to purchase this app before today to get it on sell and continue getting updates rather than waiting on amazon.
Download "Mybackup Root", go to my toolbox and select the app your having issue with and then click "Break Market Link"
When you go back it should ask you to buy it.
Since you deleted it you might have to reinstall the app and then follow these steps

Not working
Alright so I bought the toolbox app as it was necessary to try and fix the problem. Everytime I click on Osmos and do break market link it says "Osmos HD: Fail, error code 14: unable to open database file". So I can't break the market link. Any other way around this or other suggestions trying to fix this?
Edit: Actually tried multiple times and it worked. So after breaking the market link, i uninstalled the app right there on the toolbox app. Problem is, the app still shows as purchased on the market.
I have this problem with Root Explorer and a couple other apps. I want to buy them in the Market for faster updates, but even if I break the Market link through Titanium Backup, it still shows as purchased in the Market after uninstalling. I have tried everything including emailing Market Support, the dev, Amazon and every time I try to download the apps it says not purchased blah blah blah. Grrr!
If anyone figures this problem out. Please advise. Hoping this can be solved today for today's apps.
Edit: yeah I remember now that I got my games from the humble bundle, and installed the apks they sent me. So its not Amazon's fault in your cases, has everything to do with the market. I did see a fix somewhere installing an old market, freezing new one and using market version 2.3 or something but those don't work for ics

I have emailed the developer & there is nothing they can do. It is a problem with the Market & not the app & devs have no control over it. Only thing they can do is email market support just like you.

Nothing as far as updates are concerned. I emailed market CS and no reply yet. Sucks too since it looks like we will be missing out on today's sell.

There is no solution until Google updates it. The work-around I've thought of is to purchase it under a different google account. You then have to set up 2 google accounts on your phone (which isn't exactly great in my book).
My solution is calling Google. I went to the Google Market and used the help screen from there. I am dealing with this exact issue. Rep has another department handling it. They will email me and let me know when I can install it. Rep said the other department will go into my account, clear out that particular application I want and then I will be able to purchase. I should hear something within a few days.

Hi, i found a workaround to buy that apps over the WebMarket.
i'm not responsible for any damage
HTML knowledge required
Chrome explaination.
1. Uninstall the App on your Phone if installed
2. Right click on Purchased ("Gekauft") and choose last entry of the menu (German called:"Element untersuchen")
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3. Then in the Dev Tool there is selected:
"<span class="buy-button-price" id="bubble-com.adobe.flashplayer-offer-1">Installiert</span>"
over it, there is:
Code:
<a class="buy-link buy-button goog-inline-block" href="javascript:void(0)" data-c="3" data-a="3" data-docattribution="Adobe Systems" data-docconsumptionuri="" data-docid="com.adobe.flashplayer" data-doctitle="Adobe Flash Player 11" data-dociconurl="" data-doctype="1" data-parentdocid="" data-doccurrencycode="USD" data-docprice="Kostenlos" data-docpricemicros="0" data-isfree="true" data-ispurchased="true" data-offertype="1" data-rentalgrantperioddays="" data-rentalactiveperiodhours=""><span class="buy-button-price" id="bubble-com.adobe.flashplayer-offer-1">Installiert</span></a>
Search data-ispurchased="true" and change it to false.
(double click on true
, and write down false then press enter)
Switch to the Browser and click on the button, choose the device and CC.
This works for me, hope it help.

[HOW TO] Connect the GS3 to the PS3 as a media server.

This is a tutorial to connect direct streaming from the SGS3 to the PS3.
Note: I used Xillisoft to change the video format to MP4 standard (works better) Transfer to the phone (Do not convert, copy as is.)
First go to settings and set it up like this:
** For first time media server set up, PS3 Settings **
IN Settings/Network Settings
go through using
1. Settings method: custom
2. Connection method: wired connection
3. Operation mode: auto detect
4. IP address: automatic
5. DHCP: do not set
6. DNS: automatic
7. MTU: automatic
8. Proxy server: do not use
9. "UPNP: enable"
Then press X to save settings.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
EDIT: WIFI must be enabled, The network relies on this.
Path on device: (Settings/More Settings/ Nearby Devices)
------BEFORE YOU CHECK (File Sharing)-------
1.Shared Contents:/ check all
2.Device Name: (mine is SGH-T999/Orical)
3.Access Control: (Only Allowed Devices)
4.Allowed Device List: UPnP/1.0 (This is the GS3) and Windows-Media-Player ( if your connected to your computer as well)
5.Not Allowed Device List: (none)
6.Download to: (USB storage)
7.Upload to other devices: (Always Ask) *Important*
---Now to the PS3---
Go into settings and enable media server (Also See Below) then sync the device to the PS3 by checking Nearby Devices.
Depending on the amount of media you have on the Phone this can take a minute or two before it finishes.
Once it's connected you'll see the "SGH-T999/Your Name Here" within the columns labled Video, Pictures, Music.
If your looking for a video under the pictures column on the PS3 it's not going to display it and will tell you their not
there so make sure your under the correct column on the PS3 for what ever your going to stream.
Not sure if this is going to matter to some but my set up is ethernet between the router and the PS3 (Not wireless), the
connection works better and transfers information quicker if your directly connected. I have all of the parental set to off.
***Here's a few other settings you want to check if you have any problems.***

It's not an App this is actually built into the system so it should work no matter what, this allows you to direct transfer or stream information to another device, the PS3 see's it as a media server device because of the way the system is set up.
I would check to see if you can connect or even get to turn on wifi direct, maybe you removed a system file or something that you shouldn't have. You have to have WIFI enabled because this works through your router.
Is this better than using a upnp app like Twonky server that transcodes media on the fly? I don't do any streaming really to my PS3, but just wondering in case I ever do...

If it works for you that way sure but the purpose if that app is for people who dont have devices that can do what ours does normally. I saw a few people post that they had a hard time setting it up so I figured I would post it, the GS3 does an amazing job on its own and the clarity is all in what you use to convert the movies with.

I tried this out, and it's not working for me at all. Anything you might have left out?
EDIT: I believe that I found out why I can't get this to work. My network connection says "uPnP NOT ENABLED" After reading online a little, I guess that my ISP has my router locked down (it's their company provided one). So people, check this setting when you run "TEST CONNECTION" on your PS3. if it's not enabled, you will have to do it manually (if you can log into your router).

I edited the OP for those whom have never set up the network on their PS3's before with UPNP enabled, I just assumed that everyone set it up prior to this, my bad. (Thanks for pointing it out)
Side note I have it listed as wired connection, it doesn't have to be exactly the way I did for this setting, if your using wireless then choose wireless.

How did you get the usb mass storage mode working...? I tried on the PS3 and Vizio TV. On PS3 it just said "Unknown USB Device connected" One of the reasons I LOVE my HD2... real USB drive mode.. =D
Also thanks OP.. I forgot I had dlna mode on the S3 heh.. That would be one solution indeed.

The device is designed to work as if it is a media center itself so you have to think about connections used with that method, I had a tough time at first because all the devices I had were HTC variants in the past. Let the device work the way its meant to and it will get easier as you figure it out.

Sounds like you might have removed sharecast or another media app by Samsung, that's the only reason that would happen.

[TASKER] Make your QuickWindow Useful.

Hi, yesterday while i was spending my time in internet, trying to find something useful for my QuickWindow case i found this thread. http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=736141
Read ALL before complain.
The thread is in Spanish so, i will translate it and post some pics. Also i modified the files because Scenes have a weird error.
You DONT NEED ROOT. Im in Stock Rom and it works fine.
There is a "bug". If you close your Case in the HomeScreen, it wont show any notification, im working in it but i dont have time so dont expect an ETA or something. If you want it works, you can download a custom Launcher or let open any app.
Also, Notifications Go 0 even if you dont read it.
Im planning do something for facebook, tweeter, and maybe others Apps but i dont have time now.
You are COMPLETELY FREE TO MODIFY THIS. Please, share your creations if you want be nice.

Ok, lest go.
1-. Download the App " TASKER ".You can download it from Google Play. It cost 3$ ( or 3€ ) but is the best buy you can do in your life.
2-. Download This. The ZIP file contain all files that you need. I strongly recommend do a backup copy of this files.
3-. Now you will need a file explorer. Generally, your G2 should include it.
4-. Search the file Tasker. Open it and create the following 3 folders. " profiles ", " tasks ", " scenes "
5-. Now, Open the ZIP ( you can do it with an app in google play ). Copy the content of the ZIP in the 3 folders created. its obviously that " profiles " will go in " profiles ". " tasks" will go in " tasks " and " scenes " will go in " scenes ".
6-. Open Tasker. You will have again " Profiles " "Tasks" and "Scenes". Do a "click" in "Profiles" and "click" IMPORT. Search The TASKER folder and the profiles folder and IMPORT all the content.
http://imgur.com/O4rcQvE
7-. Repeat with Tasks and Scenes.
8-. If its the first time you install Tasker you will need to deactivate something.
9-. Go to preferences, Monitor and deactive the first tick. Im sorry but i dont have an english pic.
http://imgur.com/LSUmHPA
10-. Now, NEVER force close, freeze or stop TASKER. it MUST be running everytime.
11-. if you dont have the app greenify, go to TASKER, Tasks, QW and DELETE the option " hibernar ahora ".
P.S: Sorry for the bad formatting its late and im too tired.
P.S.2: Feel free to criticise, improve, or whatever you want but GIVE CREDITS to " alfcloud " user from http://www.htcmania.com/ because this guy changed your life.
Idk what I'm doing wrong? I put the 3 folders from the zip in to the tasked folder, imported all the stuff for each tab, unchecked the 1st tab in monitor, turned all the things on in profiles but nothing happens when I close or open my qw case? Any suggestions?
Kinda work.
Inconsistent though

I want to remake the entire Scene and include some extra notifications, but now i dont have time for anything that need more than 15 mins.
If you want some APP show a notif. You can copy the profile and task and adapt it for the app you want. If i have time this weekend, i'll try to do a mini guide for show your own app.
Im very sorry because i really want to do it, but my job and my family is more important. Try to understand it.
Thank you for your translation guide ! I will try to make my own notifications !!

can you share your notifications with us ?
Yes no problem, I just need a little time to set some task, all the notifications do not come up to date
[EDIT] OK I have finished, but I think you will a resolution problem.
Indeed I replaced my native résolution (480 dpi) by 400.
So I think you'll just need to resize the scene, I had already searched during some times, don't hesitate if you have any questions!
[EDIT2] I tested with original résolution there is no impact

Just got a Quickwindow case myself, and as this looks to be the most interesting thing you can do with it (at least on stock ROM), I decided to give it a go.
Apparently, the reason it's not working (at least for me in 4.4.2) is because the Quick Window Profile is looking for the application "com.lge.lockscreen.PouchLockScreen" which apparently isn't being found. I've tried to tinker myself, but I also seem to be unable to locate what the correct application should be to detect Quickwindow mode.

I managed to get this kinda working on KitKat. Stock rom. However, the issue that I have is when I open the case, the notifications stay on the screen, overlaid on everything else. The only way to clear it is to go open Tasker.

How to block YouTube ads on Lollipop ?

I really cant stand the YouTube ads. I used to be able to use YouTube adaway xposed module, but Xposed doesn't work with Lollipop...at least Samsung stock lollipop. How do you block YouTube ads on Lollipop?
Edit: If you are rooted and in 5.1.1 lollipop with TouchWiz, best way to get rid of YouTube ads is to use the YouTube Adaway xposed module.
Install xposed as instructed in this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
Then install and activate the YouTube Adaway xposed module.

His question literally ended "on lollipop"
Sent using XDA Free mobile app
I'm on stock rooted LP and adfree does NOT stop youtube ads from playing. Also tried adaway and that doesn't work either. So it seems like we're stuck with the ads for now.
I've been working at this with Adaway white lists and redirects before lollipop came because of the Xposed delays and also had it unravel in lollipop. My problem was the webserver stopped; it needs to be enabled and running, you can check by opening the app and see if it's still on. I had uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail until I got the latest one and restored my data to it.
Can't guarantee this works for all ads or redirects because the setup is complex and not thoroughly tested. Also includes redirects that may not apply to everyone but it's friendly with Hulu, Spotify, Tapatalk and YouTube.
7 simple steps; steps 2 and 3 are optional.
1) Get this Adaway version or latest from xda, credit/thanks to the OP, @mrRobinson, if it works for you.
Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39144524
Download as of April 9, 2015:
https://https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934553157
Note: because this app uses libraries, I don't recommend restoring this application fully with Titanium Backup. Always use the installer to install. Titanium Backup Pro is effective for restoring "data only".
2) I think browser url redirecting is also problem so I got this application by @julianjm. Follow the instructions for defaults.
Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49588372
Application in Google Play

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",

}
3) Again, browsers may also redirect. Dolphin for Android includes default applications in advanced mode with an option for YouTube as default. Try it if you fail; no promises.
4) {New link in post 14} Finally, there are redirects that have to be added to Adaway. To make it easy, I've uploaded my Adaway list as export to import into your Adaway as your list to edit as needed. It also includes some white lists that allow hulu to play.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952599772 once downloaded, remove the .txt extension and it should import using Adaway/Your lists/Import lists.
5) {New link in post 14} You'll also need to direct the Adaway to servers to download the the lists for the host file. I've included a link and snapshot of the two that I currently use.
Tap the plus sign and add this line{http://someonewhocares.org/hosts/zero/} (don't include the braces.) Thanks to Dan Pollock at someonewhocares.org for sharing a short host source that's effective.
6) Now just download and build your host file and apply from main screen. Turn on the webserver. If it works as planned, your browser YouTube linked playback should redirect to your YouTube.apk, full screen in landscape mode; use the back arrow to return to previous browser location.
7) Don't forget to reboot as the last step.
This is an ongoing effort using other available sources; if it works for you, thank the appropriate sources. I'll update links within xda if available. There is room for improvement. Please share what works or what worked better fit you.

Regarding post #10 of this thread, I've been working this Adaway export txt to be more friendly with general browsing and services without blocking vital services while maintaining privacy and annoying pop-ups.
Also tried to simplify process while adding security. You need Adaway and the txt file below plus the malware hosts site for updates. I actually uncheck all other hosts sites but the malware and use the export txt as the only other source. Why, because it's necessary to white list and edit hosts lists not to conflict with black lists.
adaway-export787.txt
Edit hosts source to add this source
Credit goes to hosts site: www.malwaredomainlist dot com
Opening Adaway occasionally will tell you when there's a malware update.
Just copy/paste the url in hosts sources using the + sign.
Please copy and share any url that gives any browsing issue. I particularly need Facebook users to test this as well as other external social media sites. I don't use many of those, myself. I usually give this a good test on vacation and tweak it accordingly.
Note: the import of txt list is rather long for sorting reasons. The build of hosts list is kind of long too. The webserver option in preferences should be enabled to allow the redirecting and white listing as well as block ads.
Enjoy.
Edit: for Chrome browser ads, suggest going into its settings and turn-off data saver and go-to Site settings/Storage and delete sites with excess data; could be ads stored to undermine ad blocking results. And don't forget to reboot to clear dns data; ads link there too. Also check your APN for proxies. I think the Note 4 is void of those but can't recall for sure.
Thank you so much for the very helpful tips!

I can't promise no ads but aim to reduce the annoying ones where possible.
I'm not sure where all the annoying ones are coming from or if Adaway is blocking access so help out with some url links. Recording dns requests is another method to self help. It's good to share those findings to keep this updated as well. Testers, feedback and input welcomed.

Sorry man, didn't realize you edited this post way back. Is your Adaway webserver enabled? The update may help; the original list was much smaller and also a bit crude, blocking some shopping ads.
I'm trying to make this a balanced experience to avoid having to disable frequently.

Hey man, thanks for all this! I followed all the steps, everything was downloaded and applied successfully on Adaway, but after reboot, I can't access things like Facebook and YouTube. Facebook says error loading news feed and won't load anything and Youtube won't open past the loading screen, . Even facebook on chrome browser doesn't load properly, it's just all text with no graphics or photos. I still have Internet access just things aren't working normally. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Thanks for responding. I noticed this morning that I failed to save my last session. I knocked out for the night and didn't pick that up prior to uploading. It's unfinished regarding the browser getting to YouTube; my bad.
Regarding Facebook, can you please tell me the url in your browser when it's not loading? You can tap it then long press to copy paste it in a reply. I don't use it and I know a lot of Facebook urls get blocked. If you don't mind some testing, we could work this offline through PM if you like. I could give you some more links to export files to plug in. You need to clear data for Adaway in applications manager and import the new export files, set preferences and plug the malware host site back in.

Nope, nvm, wrong again sorry . It still isn't working. Youtube loads now but ads still come through. Could it be because of the recent Youtube update that came through today? Also I notice my webserver doesn't stay enabled on Adaway, maybe that has something to do with it as well? Here's the FB link that isnt working https://m.facebook.com/?hrc=1&refsrc=http://h.facebook.com/hr/r&_rdr

Well that's interesting. Thanks for sharing. I think I still owe you an export file update. Facebook is golden? What I seen this morning was https://m.youtube.com wasn't loading.

Wondering if there is a hotspot hack yet like for the M8.

Just curious. Looking to upgrade, but would like to still have my hotspot.

What kind of hack? My hotspot works fine. What are you looking for exactly? Unlimited tethering?
Yes. I guess that's what it is I'm asking for.

Who is your carrier? There are a lot of different tethering workarounds out there, maybe one will work for you. Get an Sqlite editor, and navigate to /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/telephony.db and click on "carriers" and "carriers_cache", screenshot each, and post them here. I found a way to make it work on T-Mobile, might work for you as well.

can you post your work around for tmobile please? just curious on how to do it
It has to do with hidden APN settings. I'd prefer to see the screenshots of those sqlite databases before I say anything further, because I don't want you to try to do something and fudge up your data connection and then blame me. Those screenshots should tell me if my method will work for you.

You said you're thinking about upgrading, so you don't actually have the phone yet, right? I didn't think about that. What carrier will you be using?

Okay, you're going to want 2 paid apps for this, and they're both worth it, they have other uses than just this. Root Explorer and Sqlite Editor, both by Speed Software. Use Root Explorer to navigate to the databases I mentioned earlier. In each one, search for "Tethering data" and "dun_required", and delete those records. Then, search for "IPV6", and change those fields to "IP". This is because T-Mobile tethering doesn't work with IPv6 yet. Then, navigate to /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db/global, and add a new record, "tether_dun_required" and set it to 0 (or if it already exists, make sure it's set to 0). Finally, navigate to /system, long press "build.prop", and select "Open in Text Editor". Add a line at the bottom, "net.tethering.noprovisioning=true" (or if that line is already in there somewhere, make sure it's set to true). Reboot, and you should be good.

Cool, thanks. If it works for y'all, I'll probably make a thread about it. I've only tried it on ViperOne so far, so I'm not sure how universal it is. If he's using a custom ROM, find out which one it is for me.

oh one thing though, i have used root explorer in the past, but when deleting Tethering data" and "dun_required will it be in the root directory? Because i am assuming sqlite i can just search for it by name

You'll start in root. When you get to the folder with the database, just tap on it and it'll open in Sqlite Editor. Then you tap on the record you want to edit, and it'll open the editor. I've attached some screenshots to show you how it'll go, from /data/data on. They should be in order, from first to last. Also, the last one shows that you'll need to scroll sideways to find the IP fields.
Has anyone done this for AT&T?
I myself don't have one yet. I'm actually waiting for the native hotspot to be working without the extra data plan before I do. Well, that and for SlipGrip to come out with the car mount for an Otterbox case.

I have done everything you mentioned. added the extra line into the build.prop (net.tethering.noprovisioning=true), deleted all tethering data fields, all dun required fields and changed everything to IP under protocol in the telephony.db, and added tether_dun_required with a value of 0 inside the settings.db. I noticed though after changing everything to IP. It reads as IPV4 if you check in the actual settings under the apn field in under data in the settings menu. I wanted to clarify if it reads as this to you too. If it helps i have tmobile branded m9 with all information umder my sig.
