Hi guys!
As some of you are experiencing problems from region locked carrier from the EMUI3 KitKat 4.4 rom, I have found the solution here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p6/general/p6-u06-emui-3-0-b706-european-google-t2953515
The problem is that the model number is still wrong and we can simply wipe the custom storage to get rid of it to get the correct model number. Anyways, we can also try the new twrp with additional features by @gold-concert to backup the partitions before doing a wipe!
Feel free to ask me any questions!
Thanks and all the best!

Just like the title says.
I have the n900w8 variant of the note 3 which works in canada and mexico. not sure about other countries. So I installed the hyperdrive rom that is for the n900t model.
It works awesome i had to flash some fixes now when i try to flash one of the s5 ports for the n900t or n9005 which both of them are compatible I get the unknown baseband and no imei issue. I hope someone in here can help me.
i have to mention that i made a nandroid backup and after the rom is flashed I flash the back up but only restoring Modem and Efs. still same issue.

There's a few guys that can (or rather willing to) do bling builds. But the problem with blind builds is, you cannot test them. Not too many dev's from Canada. Sorry. As I get time, i will work with Allen on W9008 buids if there's enough people to warrant the time and effort.

The only way you can solve the imei and baseband
issue is to Odin flash the original STOCK firmware.
After Odin flashing you can root the phone
and flash a custom recovery if you like.
You can also flash a custom rom which was
created for your specific phone's model.
Then just be careful of what you flash in
the future.
You can find the original STOCK ODIN (TAR) firmware
at http://sammobile.com
Good luck!
working now

Hi there,
Mind helping me? I ended up having unknown Baseband and IMEI null during lollipop upgrade. I tried flashing back to original stock rom both kitkat and lollipop but I still got same issues. I ended up rooting the phone and currently running twrp. I'm just at lost right now on what else to do. I'm thinking of putting custom ROM but I"m not sure with one will work. I have SM-N900W8 Canadian version.

I have a M919N, and I have flashed this rom, and everything seems to be ok. When I enable wifi, I see turning on, but that is it. My baseband is M919NUVUEMK5. What do I need to do to get Wifi to work?
Thanks for any help.

For the MetroPCS variant (M919N), you need to update your bootloader and modem/HLOS to the latest, Lollipop compatible version. Currently, NK3 is the latest, compatible bootloader/modem combination for M919N on sammobile: www sammobile com/firmwares/download/39987/M919NUVUFNK3_M919NTMBFNK3_TMB.zip
Unable to install on SGH-M919
I have the sgh-m919 and we trying to install a custom rom I get:
unmount of /system failed; no such volume
script succeeded: result was [0.200000]
Install from sdcard complete.
press any key to continue.
I am using PhilZ Touch Recovery 6.15.4 for jfltetmo. I was on stock 4.4.4 when I started

Benstalk jfltetmo on jfltexx
Hello, could you please tell me how you managed to install the Benstalk jftetmo on your S975L from Straigh Talk ? I have the same version of trwp 2.8.3 and when I try to flash that ROM i get this error: This package is for device: jfltetmo, jflte; this device is jfltexx.
Is there a way to transform this device from jfltexx to jfltetmo before flashing Benstalk ROM ? or is it any Benstalk jfltexx version available.
Thanks !

Any chance y'all can work your magic and crank out one of these sweet Beanstalk 5.0s for the AT&T S4 (SGH-i337) jflte?
Low voice recorder volume
hey thanks for providing us with a nice lollipop rom, love the boot animation too its different but i want to report an issue that i find common to many roms ive tried, voice notes on whatsapp and voice recorder apps have an extremely low volume. i barely see anyone reporting or even making note of this issue its as if they ignore it, never tried it, or never cared enough to speak on it or try to fix it. this issue is veerrrrry common to jflte and jfltetmo roms, i own a SGH-M919, i have seen it on this rom, Dirty Unicorns, Paranoid android, cm11 (worked in snapshot m9 but went bad in m10 and was never fixed), cm12, android ice cold project, and a bunch of others that im sitting here to try but cant remember, i must say tho that i am on a 4.4.4 nightly of omnirom that is great, best in terms of stability and support but no disrespect when i say that not trying to compare your work although i might have just did im just trying to share my experiences with you, maybe it could help.
also if you dont have this problem could you also let me know, im starting to get a feeling im the only one with this issue since literally NO THREAD has made note of this issue EXCEPT for danvdh GPE 5.0 rom which is bitter sweet because the voice recorder works but foldermount doesnt.
I cannot view content on my SD card, can anybody please share how to view SD card. Thanks in advance.

Beanstalk on SGH-M919, any bug?
Im thinking on flash this rom on my mobile, based in old experiences of flashing custom roms, is any bug on this rom? I mean, Wifi works? 3G/4G? Calls? Audio in general (Music, bluetooth, etc), thanks in advance for your opinions.
I have been an owner of a P6 for little over a year now and had been very satisfied,I am for the last year mostly with the B132 firmware except a month during the launch of KK(international) that i found was overheating my phone a bit more compared to B132 and i rolled back to it(b132).With android moving to Lolipop and forward it might be the time to upgrade but it seems a bit complicated and i would like some help with some answers.
1)The latest firmware is 4.4.2?Did any further updates happen as to performance/heat/battery consuption?
2)Having skimmed through pages i found the update process too complicated and was puzzled about the following
a-Does the phone need to be to the CN versions of the firmware to upgrade to custom roms?
b-Is there a there a schematic of the possible update paths?
c-Does updating to the next version of the official Huawei firmware wipe the phone clean?
3)If you install a custom recovery and then backup your data install a custom rom or upgrade to another version if you reload your though a custom recovery would it restore it to its original state?
4)From user experience which of the custom roms is the most lightweight and stable one?
5)Is there any custom roms that can be applied to a 4.2.2 version?
Sorry for the long post I thought it best to keep all my questions to 1 thread rather creating small threads over time.
While some questions may seem badly worded or mandatory knowledge for any android user visiting these forums,i would greatly appreciated any answers so i can avoid any misshaps. Not all questions must be answered but any help will do

1. Yes the latest official chinese and international updates are 4.4.2 (B708 chinese and B520 international)
2.a Chinese firmwares were needed before kitkat to unlock the bootloader in order to be able to flash anything custom on the phone, but now there is a command in fastboot (bootloader mode) that you can use for the same result.
2.b There are alot of schemes about updating to wanted firmware on the forum if you choose to search a little bit.
2.c Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't.
3. It will restore the rom to original state but it will leave the custom recovery on.
4. All subject of personal experience.
5. Yes search the forum for jb roms.

Hi everyone, enjoying my awesome M9 like everyone else =D
and its time to move on to the custom rom goodness.
I can't seem to find an answer to the question. (maybe its too obvious? coming from s3)
Mine is a M9 (hong kong), with 1.32.708.15 (s-On) and all the custom roms are 1.32.401.17 based.
Is it safe to Flash it?
This is the only info i managed to find at the ARHD 5.0 OP with regards to the question.
"- If your current firmware version doesn't match ROM firmware version, wiping data inside AROMA is highly recommended!"
Would be nice if I can get some confirmation from you guys.
Yes it is fine right now since it is the same base. Get soff while you can so flashing firmware in the future is easy. Remember always backup first. Use twrp 2864

I did this on the M8 before, I had problems with the wifi and it took ages to boot until I found out that my firmware is old and different from the rom.
Anyway, I did what you are trying to do yesterday, (firmware 15/ rom 17) for a couple of minutes, didnt find any problems.
Before you flash any ROM, BACKUP your system and move it to your PC and use the latest TWRP
Thats good to hear! I'm gonna give it a try once i'm back in town! Thx!
Please Help me!

ONLY. use firmware for your phone. if you flash a gsm firmware on a cdma phone you are asking for trouble, big time.
Hey guys I just started playing around with ROMS and I have some questions. I'm running Cyanogenmod 11 (5.0.2) right now and I'm kind of confused about how to try out other mods. For example I'd like to flash a kit kat CyanogenMod. Is it possible to run different versions of OS from the recovery? Can I switch between Lollipop roms and KitKat roms with no problems? and when I do flash another rom, how do I keep my settings and apps for the rom I'm about leave? And one more question, what is the best recovery to use? I'm using TWRP right now. Sorry for all the noob questions guys. Thanks for reading and I hope to read your responses.

the only way you can downgrade to kitkat in order to flash other kitkat roms is if you did a backup of you old kitkat rom including the efs. If you didn't you're stuck on lollipop. When flashing a new rom you can't save your setting but you can back up all your apps + data with titanium backup. It's not advisable to restore data as well as it can cause problems, so just restore the apps.

Couldn't he do a flash of the stock rom with lg flash tool?
I know this is old, but where did you get cm11 for this phone. All I can find is cm12 and they're unofficial nightlies.
