Is anyone having issues flashing Aroma ROMs on 4.4.2 Rooted?

This is my device at this point:
1. Rooted 4.4.2
2. Stock T-Mobile ROM
3. I can flash SinLess ROM v2.1.2 with no issues after reboot
ANY Aroma ROM I try to flash (for example, DARTHSTALKER_NOTE3_V6), after reboot after installing results in a bootloop at the Samsung screen.
Are NONE of the Aroma ROMs not working on the T-Mobile Note 3?
I would really like to flash the DARTHSTALKER_NOTE3_V6 but can't if I can't get past the Samsung screen on a bootloop.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Darthstalker is a 4.3 base ROM. It won't work on a 4.4 bootloader, which is what you have if you took the OTA or flashed the Odin 4.4 package. It's not Aroma, it's just that most of the Aroma installer ROMs haven't been updated to 4.4 yet. And Samsung made the bootloader incompatible, so once you are on 4.4, you can't boot a 4.3 ROM.
Same with recovery. Make sure you flash 4.4 bootloader versions of TWRP/CWM or it won't boot.

so what IS a 4.4.2 with Aroma and NOT AOSP?

Thank you for the insight, I was seriously under the (wrong) impression that DeathStalker was a 4.4.2 ROM. I really didn't know.
IS there a list of 4.4.2 stock rooted ROMs with Aroma? You wrote "most of the Aroma installers haven't been updated to 4.4 yet." Which have? It's very confusing because honestly, i was looking and didn't see that DeathStalker was a 4.3 ROM. I went back and looked and noticed a bunch of JB stuff in the list of enhancements which gave it away.
Well, if anyone can suggest a good stable 4.4.2 ROM with Aroma and not AOSP, I want to keep the SPEN functionality that is still missing in CM. Although I do LOVE CM. Used it religiously on my S3.

I honestly don't know of any that have. Any reason you want an Aroma installer? It's not like you see it after the install is done. Most modded stock ROMs will list the "base" ROM they started from in the OP. Check that, and if it's a 4.4 base, it will likely work fine on your 4.4 bootloader phone. There's going to be a bit of a rough patch for a while as the ROMs get updated and users get updated. You just have to read up on each one to verify before installing. Just do a thread search for "bootloader" or "4.4" and read some of the posts. Chances are, it's been asked and answered in the thread if you look.
I'm just running a rooted stock build without Knox/CIQ, the stock ZIP that teshxx posted in the dev forum. Then just used Titanium Backup to un-install any bloatware I didn't want. Add a few Xposed modules, and it's a quite good ROM.
If you like CM, the SPEN does work. It acts a bit like a mouse. It's the built-in apps that don't work. You can replace the functionality of many of them. But if you really like some of them, that's not a great option. I ran CM/AOSP builds for a while, but decided the stability of a stock ROM was more important to me right now. I'll probably be back on CM after a while. I like the speed boost from the slimmer ROM.

Honestly, I wanted Aroma because it seemed so much more customizable upon installation rather than taking the vision that a dev had for the ROM they created. I may well be wrong and thank you for the update on CM and SPEN, good to know. I just didn't check out the official CM thread as I had heard no SPEN support yet.

It's that one. N look at there questions&answers thread has how to flash it basically download wifi nfc blue tooth fix and wootevers kernel. Wipe of course. Flash rom(CSC is default and also choose NO kernel) one done go on and flash wootevers kernel then the wifi fix. Zip should be a go I did it reverse and wifi was bad flashed it again all gravy

Oh also the side effect I had. It deleted everything in my internal so make sure you put the kernel and wifi fix on ext SD so you'll hace it available. You'll eventually get your pictures back and music too but not 3rd downloads from the net or apps like wallpapers of screen shots. Be aware

S3Rx S5 Experience Rom for T999
I had a question...I tried to post this in the actual rom section, but since I have too less of posts, it wouldn't let me....so it shown up here...My question is that it says once you flash this rom, you should flash "T-Mo Addon.zip" that is included in the same section you download the rom from, if you use T-Mobile. Well, I do have a T-Mobile T999L phone, but I am currently on Walmarts Family Mobile service. I do believe that they use T-Mobiles towers for cell service, but the service itself doesn't go through T-Mobile. Should I flash the T-Mobile Addon zip or not? I haven't yet, and it seems the rom is working just fine, but wondering what the difference is if I do flash that add-on? Will it help any service speeds or anything? Just curious what the add-on really does....

It replaces certain files that differentiate between different devices. It may also contain some network specific differences too, but I can't recall at the moment. It's perfectly safe to flash it though. If you feel it worked better before, just reflash the rom, no wipe needed.
The one I'm about to release has everything already incorporated, so there won't be a need for the second zip.
If you are using the LG keyboard, it may stop working. If so, it's easy enough to fix, so just let me know.

After I restored data from another ROM(4.3 touchwiz) , I lost some toggles like flashlight, and clor is dark blue in the toggles background, is there any way to get it bac to normal without reflashing

Themes for Likewise Rom
Ok this may seem like a stupid question, but I can't seem to figure it out and I have been racking my brain for a while now...so I'm just going to ask...I noticed in the installed apps for this rom (and I have the most recent S5Experience rom installed) there are themes included like Color OS, FunTouch OS, etc. But I cannot seem to find how to apply these themes. Saw some links for "theme chooser" but cannot seem to get it working. I saw the apk in the system apps, and it says it is already installed, but I cannot find it to use it to change themes and check out what these themes look like that are included in this rom. Can someone help me with this? What app do I use to try out these themes? Where is the app located? Like I said, this may seem like a stupid question, but I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance for helping me.

All ports and AOSP ROMs do not have Wi-Fi Calling. You'd have to stick to T-mobile produced ROMs, the latest based on Android 4.3.

Okay, so I am new to the forum, though I am a long time browser. I recently took the plunge and rooted my s3 and have been playing with some custom roms. I found this one, after using stockmod rom, and liquid smooth (Both really nice ROMS). I like this one the best so far. with that said, I also use Softcard (Tmobile won't allow tap and pay with google wallet). I got it to work using root cloak on the stockMod rom and just stock when rooted, but on this one, I can get it to recognize my device as not rooted, but it no longer recognizes my enhanced sim. it says i need one, but I already have one. I'm curious if it's a rom issue or something. Not sure what to do.
Also, is there a way to enable infinite scrolling on the home screen? I can get it to do it if I use go launcher or something, and looking elsewhere on the site it said to go into the system files (Im abbreviating the steps here) and find "screen rotation>disable> true " and set it to false... but mine is already set to false and I have Wanam exposed framework running with infinite scroll enabled....
Overall, Great ROM so far. my battery life is improved, and the phone is much smoother and faster. I love my S3 again.

Can anybody check to see if palm gesture screenshot works?

Yes, before flashing wipe /data, /system, /cache and Dalvik Cache. Same with every other ROM.

I have recently update my Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-T999L using kies.
Baseband version: T999LUVUBNF4
I wanted to install your ROM to my device but it says that the latest supported version is at T999UVUENC2. Is it possible to install it on UVUBNF4? Or if not, is it possible to revert back to NC2?

Best TMO S3 rom
I have to say ... this is the best TMO S3 rom without a doubt .. I've tried many KK, Lollipop , Cyaogenmod etc but not oTne comes close to the stability and battery life..

Soft bricked my device
So I followed your instructions to the best of my ability.
1. Make sure you are on your most current modem... T999 = MJC || T999L = MK4 DocHoliday77 modem thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1880987
(My rom is the latest which is UVUENC2)
2. Full Wipe
(Did that)
3. Install ROM.
(Did that) - then afterwards it prompted me to a white page install/menu section. Since I already installed the ROM through CWM I proceeded to select "Install Kernel Only" which is apparently step #4.
4.Make sure you choose KT747, DKP or MJ2 kernel during install.
(I chose DKP to install)
5. Profit... enjoy!
(I did not enjoy since my phone never booted, it was stuck on S3 logo, had to go back into recovery!)
Soooo what did I do wrong??

If I could add on to the other questions posted. I have T999L with NF4. When I install this rom, end up with Baseband of NF4, Build of NC2 and seem to lose LTE capability. Would love to get the proper steps when dealing with an NF4 phone.
EDIT: Seems to be missing: persist.radio.lteon - do you know how I can add/create this?

ok i have the 4.3 stock from tmobile i used a couple of cwn version but none of them are letting me flash it i keep getting an error that says (bad) Operation aboarded and it has the little android in a coma with no new room, i rooted the phone but still no luck any advice????

good day! i seem to have successfuly installed this rom, DN3 V5 (S5+N3) - More Ram Usage / http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2589715 / for a few days now, everything is perfect, one thing i noticed is that when i re installed Titanium backup, i was not rooted, i didnt see it coming until i can no longer find a resource on how i could get it back the root previledges.

Hello, this probably is my last post about E250, since i’m selling the device.
As you may know ykkfive is bringing DN4 to N7105. Out of curious I installed it on my E250 just to see if it boots. Guess what! Yes it works ! So here are steps bring it to your E250 :
1. Flash DN4 + ykkfive’s addon according to his instructions - his topic is here
2. Do NOT reboot
3. Flash WIDzard kernel - here
4. Now reboot and enjoy it.
* DN4 v1 + WIDzard kernel v2.3 are used in the test.
* I used Philz Recovery customised by WIDward - here
* You may want to delete AGNi* apk since they don't work with Wizard kernel

A lot of the t0lte (N-7105) builds will work with the widzard (AOSP) kernel. I flashed an LP-LS 4.0 lollipop build (02.03.2015) onto an SHV-250K variant using Philz Touch Recovery, but I don't have a sim card to fully test it out. The wifi works though.

I flashed it on an SHV-E250K using Odin and it seemed to work (booted fine); however, I don't have an active sim card installed in the phone, so I can't speak to phone calls, data, or SMS services through KT. I was able to connect the wifi using my active device as a hot spot. The information displayed in the device indicated N-7105 with KitKat 4.4.2 OS. Odin recognized it as such as well. Heang put his winmack logo and info on the home screen. It won't brick your device. Be sure to back up your current ROM, apps, configurations, etc. before flashing it though.

Turning SHV-E250S into international - which route?
I have kind of the same problem as above posters, I have a Korean Note 2 (shv-e250s) which bothers me cos of the korean type in some situations, I'd like you to tell me which route to take to turn it into an international version or to, at least, get rid of the personalizations/unbrand.
Oh, one last bit, reading about either Ditto Note 4 or Cm12 (already downloading the former), which one would you go for and which would be easier to install (my first attempts...) and, true last bit, mobile is already booted and would like to use Odin rather than installing from the SD card.

Hi I recently flashed your 5.0.2 lollipop for the d2CRI version 1-31 coming from stock android and I am not getting any sound... not even through my headphones. is there any workaround for the problem because let me tell you that I LOVE YOUR ROM. :crying:

The d2cri is the s3 for Cricket. This forum is for the d2lte.

I flashed the 2/6 liquid theme with minimal L Gapps, spotty signal and dropping WiFi and no LTE!
Flashed NJ1 firmware, wipe and factory reset, flashed the ROM again and eureka!
LTE, Camera, strong signal and WiFi,
But! No video! (Who cares? Not me)

I have been gifted a friends i747 S3 which was used on At&t. I intend to use it on cricket, should I use the at&t or cricket version of this rom or does it matter? Am I mistaken to believe that the sim should configure the phone appropriately once activated?

Does anyone know if MLH HDMI works under this rom?

Just curious, has anyone even been able to figure out why the stock camera doesn't work? I know we all have our workarounds to using it, I just want to know if anyone actually knows enough to even attempt working on an actual fix.

That suggests that there are workarounds to be able to use the stock or Google Camera. So far I have been unsuccessful in using it, so I use either Open Camera, Camera FX or Camera MX, but I miss the panorama and PhotoSphere features.
Has anyone actually succeded in using Google Camera with Liquid Smooth 5.0?

The camera, in my minutes of exploring in the 2/27 build does work, but the video doesnt, is that just me, been playing around with it.

Having a couple of issues, other than that a great ROM!
Issues: after disconnecting from a PC in debug mode, debug and "connected" notification stay active, and certain operations (like mounting an SD card) are disabled because the phone is in MTP mode.

I just flashed this rom on my s3 and now it doesn't make sound at all. I tried both the speaker and the headphone jack and neither make a sound. It's also having trouble with media apps like google music, pandora, or youtube. I was wondering if anyone has this problem or knows a solution.

I recently posted a thread about a workaround for camera and video and I can officially add ls-lp to my CONFIRMED working list.

S3 d2cri no sound or video playback
I flashed this rom and its mostly working really well. Though there are a two big problems. Firstly there is no sound what so ever, neither from the speaker nor the headphone jack. Secondly the microphone also does not work. Finally it seems like media playback doesnt work at all. This includes media streaming sites such as youtube, google music, pandora, even facebook videos dont like to load.

I can't seem to even get the ROM to boot (build 2/27). I've tried installing from TWRP 2.8.5 and CWM 6.0.4.7. Both result in something about unable to mount system and flash SU and then an endless boot animation. I'm coming from an old Task650 AOKP build, but wiped everything on the phone first. It managed to boot once but I had no APN and it said I didn't have a SIM card inserted. Tried reflashing after that and it never booted again. I can flash KK ROMs. Any suggestions?
