Hey everybody
At first: i'm a noob in rooting, flashing and all the other stuff^^
so here's my problem: i rooted my kindle fire 2 and then wanted to install TWRP. got a red screen. bought a factory cable and do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2304584
now, when i turn on the device, at first there is the orange boot logo, then it switched to the blue one (i can get into the TWRP menu if i want to), but the it jumps back to the orange screen, then to the blue screen and so on.
so here's the question: want can i do to fix this?^^
thanks for your help buddies
Try to reflash the bootloader and all the other partitions (boot, system, ect.)
If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask! Me and the rest of the XDA community would be glad to answer them!

it just flashes then boots into the rom.
im currently using the cm9 build
ive tried every thing inc. flashinng interim recovery but does not work! what should i do please suggest!!!
i really don't know, but since i'm here i'll guess. if you did "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" or however and it still isn't working, then ask that tripping raver person what's going on.
You done a flashboot erase cache

im getting no response on modaco! everyone else on his rom seems to be able to boot into recovery!
yes that is the command i ran.....
if you mean rebooting into recovery from the power menu, then i think i read something about not being able to do that without true s-off. you have to go the manual way. i might be wrong, but you might be worrying about something nobody can actually do yet.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.. I've tried to install four ROMs and I get to the reboot screen and I reboot and it loads up and then twenty minutes later and still in the boot animation screen an hour later still on the boot animation screen.. two hours later still on the boot animation screen.. I'm no rookie at flashing if had iPhone, evo 4g, gs3 but this puzzles me I have used twrp on all my devices except the I phone so I'd like to think I know what I'm doing but I just can't get any ROM to boot up successfully on this thing I've tried paranoid Android, miui , a few jelly Bean ROMs and still none will go past the boot animation... Help please

So did you come from stock 6.3.1? What did you use to root your KF? what did you use to install your ROM? these would all be helpful answers. Thanks.

Don't know if ur being sarcastic or not but if all else fails.....go back to complete stock (no root, stock Amazon 6.3.1), re-root and try again. There have been a number of not so good issues with the newest TWRP. I have been using TWRP version 2.2.2.1 and have flashed many ROMs with no complication

Hi there,
I would like to ask if there is someone that could help me solve my problem.
I was going to install a custom ROM from Hashcode (OFFICIAL CM10.1), but before I had a chance to flash it I stumbled upon a problem when I tried to flash TWRP from TWEEZERMOD 1-CLICK cordless METHOD, I downloaded TWRP ran it and while it was installing
it rebooted my Kindle Fire 2 I could see Kindle Fire logo and after that flowed by RED SCREEN and no way out of there, I can turn it off when I
long press the power button for 20 seconds, but after I turn it on same thing happens Kindle Fire logo and followed by RED Screen.
I purchased a fastboot cable from Ebay
and after plugging it into my KF2 and then into my laptop, I'm stuck at Fastboot screen with a traffic light BLINKING GREEN.
Can anyone help me with the next steps, as I have no idea what to do, and I tried to google this with no luck.
Thank in advance
Screen
Actually I followed your instructions at the beggining of your thread and they worked like a charm, the KF First Aid didn't for some reason,
But anyway thank you lots.
For people who have the same problem just download this tool from mindmajick
Restoration tool link:
Once downloaded run the tool and in the options choose
1st Check fastboot status
2nd Erase cache and userdata
3rd Restore-Boot and recovery
4th then wait after your Kindle will be booting for a bit, at some point I thought I was stuck at the booting logo but it was just preparing your KF2
SUCCESS =D

I don't even know how to mount raw system image file nor what it is,
maybe if that is fine for you, could you send me a step by step guide please.

I have had a look at that one and for some reason the KF First Aide cannot find my device,
it keeps giving me this message whenever I try to Completly restore or Display the fastboot Status
"The system cannot find the path specified".
I would like to try it your way but as I don't understand the terms used it your instructions or procedures I'm unable to do so,
that is why I asked for you step by step guide.
So when I got to your post I went straight into last page number 4
Followed these steps

Hello there,
Yes I do know that, but as it didn't work for me to install TWRP which is quite important for flashing a new ROM
I will be doing a step by step guide that worked for me.
You see I was following the instruction for Hashcode CM 10.1 and when I tried to install TWRP on my KF2
I got stuck at the Red Screen, and then I had to unbrick my KF2, thanks to Mindmajick I unbricked.

Yes, you need a factory cable to get into fastboot so you can wipe data, or access custom recovery so you can reflash your ROM.

When I realized this I flashed back to the alpha 2 build and then booted my backup. I am now stuck at the android dancing dots. Can some one help me out please. Thanks for your time

Boot into bootloader, use the latest Google stock factory image and use the flashall.bat with the -w removed inside the file. Let the batch file run and boot the OS using fully stock firmware. If it boots fine, go ahead and fastboot boot TWRP rc1 and flash TWRP rc1 zip and supersu zip.

Fastboot. Use the latest version from Google.
Search for "Nexus factory image download," grab the latest factory image for our device, and flash all. The aforementioned will overwrite your internal memory, and there is a way to preserve your internal data. You can read about it in the Q&A section.
Check the thread from @bajasur for guidance.
For your reference, threads like this belong in that same section, not development (a moderator will move this soon enough). There's also a noob friendly thread, where you can post most anything and folks will help.
Good luck, and please keep us posted.
