To root or not to root??? - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So i just got my tablet. I am not new to rooting. I have a tab 3 t210 running 4.4.2. I have had s3s and s4s that i have rooted in the past. I'm just wandering if there is a lot of development for this device?

[Q] Can't Root Galaxy S3 running 4.3

Hello All-
I previously had a Galaxy S3 running Android 4.2. It is At&T and i am a Mac user. It was rooted and In ran Cyanogen 10.2. To make a long story short, it started dropping every call and AT&T finally replaced it .
They replaced it with another Galaxy S3 running jellybean 4.3 and it has knox. Have spent countless hours trying to root this phone if for no reason than to get the Samsung and AT&T bloatware off of it. It will not root and I can not find any articles on how to root S3 with Jellybean on a MAC. I have also tried to remove Knox and it won't go away. I am at the end of my rope. Remember that I am trying to do this on a MAC.
Thanks in advance for the help!

[Q] Rooting Verizon Note II i605 Kit Kat 4.4.2

I realize this forum is not for the i605 but I did not know where else to put this thread. I am trying to root my Verizon Note II i605 with the new Kit Kat 4.4.2 update. I tried towelroot but it did not work and I have read alot of the other methods do not work. Does anyone know a method that can root this build of the phone?
Or alternatively how can I help to make towelroot or another method a viable rooting method for my phone?
I'm pretty sure you have to use SafeStrap for that. I haven't had to with mine because it's a VRALJB original with no OTA updates. SafeStrap is the workaround though. Most of what you need to know should be in here I think: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024207

Tab SM-T700 (Samsung Tab S 8.4) can I use same root after OTA update?

So my Tab S 8.4 (SM-T700) recently just updated to Android Lollipop and it was rooted. After the update, my root access was gone.
I wanted to know if I can use the same kernel i used for rooting that i used previously that was for the tab S 4.2.2 version.
if i can't, how long till i can get root access.
THANK YOU!

I have a I9195 which I just rooted kind of new to the whole rooting scene, what good to get now I'm rooted? Including apps, Roms etc.. Never installed a ROM before so also wondering if its easy to do.. Thanks.
Do you have TWRP yet?

Rooting Samsung SM-T707A

I have been all over the forum looking for guidance on how to root my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE. I understand that the wizards at AT&T have locked the boot loader and that this is not an easy one. I have tried KingRoot, Kingo, and a few other less well-recommended root programs. Despite all these programs stating that they can work, none of them do. Did anyone find a program to root this old AT&T beast?

Android 6.01
You have to first downgrade to 5.01, then kingroot will work. There is also a thread on tab s forum about replacing kingroot with su. It's pretty easy to do, it just takes a little time.
