Hi i have a Samsung Galaxy Wonder GT-I8150 and i rooted and tried various Custom roms to find a stable one to run Jelly Bean. One of these Roms has corrupted my wifi drivers( i think it was Monster Energy Rom) then i tried alot of things to get it to work again. i shifted to stock rom :
[Baseband verion- I8150XXLM6
kernel version-2.6.35.7-perf-I8150DXLM3-CL1103265 [email protected] #3
Build Number- GINGERBREAD.DXLM3]
but still it was showing "error" when i tried to turn on wifi
I read alot of stuff and tried Wifix app, tried deleting wpa_supplicant , it worked for a day but again it started showing error and after that even deleting wasnt helping.
now after deleting that file and rebooting the phone, that file doesnt get created in data/misc/wifi.
I read that its a kernel issue and that the kernel that that custom Rom put has changed something and it can only be solved when i flash a Kernel that can revert my settings back to what it were.
I dont know which Kernel will do that...
P.S. - I read another thread in which a person was having same problem with his i9505 after flashing rom and a person recommended :
"Open root explorer > System > Build.prop change this in the build.prop:
ro.securestorage.support=true TO ro.securestorage.support=false Save , Reboot"
but i couldnt find ro.securestorage.support=true in that file when i opened in RB Editor in root explorer.
P.S. - Also tried dialing *#*#526#*#* but it was showing me "NotSet Driver loaded[NG]" Dont know what that means :silly:
I'm only 18 years old so im not very familiar with these software stuff.
Please help me .. tell me other things i can try .i will try and reply you with the results :silly:

I rooted mt desire with lee driod but I am facing problem in flash contents on websites , they are not getting displayed and I am unable to uninstall and install flash player again , even if I install flash 10.1 file nothing happens
all the buttons are disabled on application management screen for that and its not working fine also ....
I want to restore to original software (HTC Original) how can I do that ...???

flash works fine for me with leedroid, please respect the developers and there hard work, dont call there roms useless because you are too much off a noob to remove installflashplayer.apk from /system/app/ and install it manually.....

I tried removing the file thru file manager but as it is write protected cannot be removed .... is thr ne other process to remove

Seems like the root didn`t work properly. Maybe try getting Root Browser for example and see if you can access the system files. What recovery do you use ? And how did you root it ? What you`re saying sounds weird .. it worked the first time for me. I remember the process was just taking an update.zip , going to recovery mode and flashing it and that`s all

I already rooted my devide like, half year ago just to use app2sd , but now when any app tries to get root acces, superuser sudently closes .. I don't use any recovery . I rooted just like you, but with another tutorial and it worked just in the first time .
Its like, I have my device rooted but at the same time unrooted .
EDIT : I've instaled Root Browser and i can access to system files, but just for some seconds, because superuser crashes .
Hm maybe somewhere in these 6 months something just happened i don`t know what to say if you use the stock rom . Me , if something bad happens i just wipe and flash my rom again or do an advanced restore in CWM. Sorry for not being able to help you.

I got the problem solved !!
i used SuperOneClick and removed my root , then restarted my device and still got root (dont know how :laugh but without Superuser . Then i instaled Superuser from market and now works perfectly !!

If you're phone was rooted It never gave u that error, for rooting you're phone there are some ways but I recommend u to flash a stock ROM (Maybe U ruined some file in system or something like that, so It's better to flash a new ROM) then turn on you're phone after that again go to recovery and flash CWM and reboot you're phone and go to CWM and mount system, data and flash a "Update.zip" which Is available in Android Development topics.
Or U can just simply flash one of those Gingerbread's ROMs (Crane fusion, Enhanced 2.3.6 etc...)

hey everybody ,i tried to update my note 2 n7100 from 4.3 phoenix rom to dr Ketans latest rom.
something happened during the process and my imei was lost,so no network.
i had an efs backup ,i manually replaced the existing efs file with my backed up one.
since then ,my phone seems to be working fine,imei normal, but i got the damn "factory mode on " overlay.
i installed with odin the official stock 4.4.2 rom but ofcourse that didn't help .
my device is now stock rom ,rooted .
i tried to manually edit the efs files (factorymode,keystr)
i tried to edit it through android terminal emulator
tried with pc and adb terminal,nothing .
the efs files(factorymode,keystr) say "ON " ,but i still have the overlay...\
it's driving me NUTS

Alright, the full tutorial:
Install rom as said on the first page, then get the build.prop from the stock rom or the one I attached, then get something like Es File Manager or root manager, it doesn't matter, mount the /system as writable, delete the build.prop that's there, paste the STOCK build.prop there, change permissions if needed, reboot, that's it. "
After the reboot it gave me bootloop and when i tried to repair by using flashtool my phone hasn't been recognized and i don't know what do do to recovery it. I tried to flash the ftf for t2 ultra and the one for the dual variant.
I've installed flashtool and the drivers that came in it, but it keeps telling me it could not find them.
Another problem is that i couldn't set the usb debbugging options if i remember...
Can somebody please help me?

I've been able to enter in trwp recovery mode from the device and to flash the rom zip once again, then i restored to a previous backup did before installing the rom and the phone back to life.
The sms bug in the decepticon roms still remains despite i tried the tutorial linked above. Still needing another solution for this.

I'm trying to install LineageOS 14.1 into my Samsung A5 17 but I'm running into some problems... I hope that someone around here can help me out
So right now I’m on Android 8.0 with the stock Samsung experience, bootloader ecc… I’ve tried to install TWRP and lineageOS 14.1, and it runs fine but it can’t recognize the SIM card! I did some research and turns out that I’ve to install first the stock Samsung ROM with 7.0 nougat and then install lineage in order to make the SIM show up. So I’ve tried to do so but when I try to flash the original stock ROM with Odin it returns this problem:
The flash fails after it tries to insert the param.bin file
The device in download mode return this error:
sw rev. check fail(bootloader) device: 7, binary: 4

Why would you want to downgrade?
Make sure you have the proper ROM, as well as CS file.
Download said files again.
For some reason my brothers windows 10 partition hates downloading the files properly, on my Linux partition I never had said issues.
Because the I've read in other topics that if downgrade my phone to 7.0 it would be able to read the SIM card after install LineageOS 14.1, but I'm not sure about that. Am I right?
Don't worry I've tried to download the stock ROM multiple times but in every case it returns me this error.
I think that the ROM files aren't the problem.

And about the Binary on the device , you have to download a rom with a higher binary that you already have , since you have 7 you can only update to a 7 binary or higher , to know which is the binary on the rom ill Tell you how to realize the binary
The rom's file name is like this FXX5UIR7XVBR that seven in the last characters is the binary number of this rom. It was just an example.
Sorry about my english.
