Hey everyone, I wanna unroot my phone and feel this is the easiest way. (Tmobile) The only thing i did while the phone was rooted was change xposed stuff to make the bars change colors and added a different kernel. I never put a new rom on it so its running the LG one still.
If i unroot with supersu will everything go smooth? I wanna factory wipe it so i can use my jump and trade it in. thanks in advance!

Why didn't you used the search function?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=322610576
https://www.google.com/search?q=back+to+stock+lg+g3
You will find this thread either way:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
The thread will tell you how to revert to stock. You don't first need to unroot in order to go back to stock. The thread I just mentioned will help you revert back to stock with no trace you ever had root or a custom recovery etc.

I had my phone rooted and decided to unroot to get the OTA update which I did, but I tried rooting the phone again and I can't no longer root the phone.
Has any one experience this before?
Can I use unrevoked?
i dont know about unrevoked. if you do the factory reset and reroot using toasts method, there is a stock rom you can flash that has the OTA update biult in that will allow you to keep the root. all of the info is on the first page where toast describes the rooting process. hope this helps.
I guess there is no way to revoked so I can root my phone again. I like to learn if this is possible I guess, I will miss the tether app that I enjoy so much.
Please any one
I am still trying to root my evo after installing the OTA and have not been able to root it again.
Can anyone help if possible?
I will appreciate any suggestions at this point
Thanks in advance
how to unroot

You can use the unrevoked method if you are just mainly using it for the tether app.
http://unrevoked.com/m/
then click the image to install it.
un root
i just would like to get my phone back to stock, i did the unrevoked root, then tried to do a ROM, and the rom part did take all the way. I still have the ROM Manager app still on my phone.. should i delete that

Hello,
I own a N5110 (Wifi) version of the Galaxy NOTE 8.0
The warranty is void since the first day... So I don't have a problem with rooting
I saw this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpMY1xqXBhU
But I've read the comments, ppl have problems!!
And I'm not sure if it works with N5110 or for N5100 variant only!
Another Q:
Will the UNROOTING Process be easy, or it'll require flashing?
Won't I receive updates from SAMSUNG while being rooted (Without custom ROM) ??

For the first question, I am not sure never rooted with that.
For the second question you do need to flash the stock. Usually people just do that to hide that it has been rooted. If it is for that purpose that you are asking, and you have flashed roms, I recommend using Triangle Away, because that erases the counter of how many ROMs you have installed.
If you are at the stock you will receive updates, and if you do the update you will lose root. I have done that in the past with my Droid Bionic. I do not recommend it though because it lagged the hell out of my phone

Well, what's the point in installing the STOCK ROM if I wanted to UNROOT in my case?? (I mean I've no warranty anyway)
Can I just unroot without flashing?
And Yes I know about Triangle Away, I've read about it recently.
For the first question>> what do you recommend for rooting NOTE 8.0 N5110 ?
Thanks

As far as I know(being doing this for 3 years) There is no way to unroot without flashing the Stock Rom. The only way to flash the stock is using odin.
Honestly I do not know the best easy way to do it. All depends on the version you are at. I was on the updated version(not sure the build number). That framework apk didn't work with the version I had. The way I rooted was by first unlocking, then installed the TWRP through odin, then flashed a zip that rooted my phone. I do not recall any of the links. For the files, I lost them all because I just got a new computer and I was dumb enough to not do the back up on the other computer. Also I dont remember if there was steps in between, so I dont recommend following what I mentioned .
the way that I did is very similar to this one:

Thanks for your big help :good:
You can just install a nandroid stock rom for your device which is non rooted...
Hey guys, what's the safest and easiest way to put my Sprint LG G3 phone back to a good warranty status so I can take it back to exchange for the Note 4? Since I didn't install any different ROMs or kernels or anything like that, is all I need to do is unroot? And I can do with stump root, right? They won't be able to easily see I rooted my device when I take in tomorrow?
EDIT: I just ran the Root Cleanup in SuperSu. Hope that does the trick.
EDIT 2: That didn't work. It simply froze during the uninstall :\
Why don't you just flash to stock via TOT or KDZ? It's easier that way and leaves no traces of Stump.
Sorry guys, I know there is a ton of info out there about this but I am about to sell my Note 3 and I'd like to unroot it and make it completely stock. I've seen stuff to flash the new firmware but I'm not sure if that makes it completely stock. I want whoever buys to be able to get OTA updates and such.
Any help would be appreciated.
I had Superuser on it and I went to full unroot but got stuck in something funky now SU doesn't show up and I fear I'll get myself into something a little more fuzzy if I keep messing with it.
Thanks
Make it completely stock? Easy, download stock ROM and flash.

Id suggest selling your rooted box on fleabay and buying an unrooted box from fleabay.
Your rooted box is worth alot more than an unrooted box. Make a little money from what you want.
