If the Bootloader unlock allowed is missing in the service menu is it still possible to unlock it? And if so what's the steps ti do so.
If this has all ready been covered, I may have missed the post while searching.

Try contacting Jinx13 http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4002805
He uses a remote method to unlock bootloaders and such for xperia phones. I've heard this method can also be used to unbrick phones, which is most likely what you've done.
PM him, or get his email off his profile. I may be wrong, but it's worth a shot.
thanks, Got it working though....I used S1tool with semc patch and did the ground to test point thingy. after a few tries... the network just showed up. I can now use the simcard.

My mom's Galaxy W has facial recognition unlock on stock 2.3.6. So is there a way to port that to our phone? D:
Edit: after setting up with my face, tried to unlock it with my handsome face but can't unlock it and goes to alternate unlock. Sucks much.

believe me when I say it, face lock is a dodgy novelty, but if you really want it, there's an app in play store called "FaceLock".

I know that app. Used it before and it isn't that good. And I thought Face Unlock is only for ICS?

It's just a feature. It's like creating folders on 2.3.3 on our Plays.
Like said before, it isn't very functional. My brother can unlock my phone if I have it on.

yes but then again if your doing PRL update or if in the future you change your phone number you gonna need that again, i just need to disable that code without effecting anything else, do you know how we can do that
As I said just rename it. If/when you need it it takes a rename and reboot and your back in business. The only ways I know of require same style changes.

Hi Everyone,
Need help. I've been trying so hard to access my Note 5's Service mode to try and test if my Fingerprint scanner is working (as I keep on getting the dreaded error whenever I try to access Fingerprints) but to no avail. I keep getting Connection problem or invalid MMI code error message no matter what code I try. Any suggestions? I'm using this phone in the Philippines by the way with a non AT&T sim card. My phone is not rooted.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes this is the one.
This is the correct keypad code and has worked since the release firmware and still does on marshmallow. You know you are supposed to enter this in the phone app dialer right? The fingerprint test is in Sensors on that codes page.

Hi ToxicDev,
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately tried that as well but also did not work. Do you think this is because I am not in the U.S. and I am not using an AT&T sim?
Thank you in advance for the help!

No clue, but that may be the case. This is my first Samsung let alone Android phone. Anyone else know if the *#0*# is only for AT&T?

I just noticed something. I Checked Application Maneger in Settings 》scrolled ro the right to the All tab and I have Phone Applications. All are version 1.0.0. 1 is 100kb and the 2 others are 8kb in size. All 3 are activated. I cleared cache on the 2 8kb sized Phone app and forced stop them both. Tried *#873636# on the dialer = same error, tried *#0*# = same error.
Can I ask help from you guys how many phone apps do you have in the All tab in Application Manager? If 3, which is the one activated?
Many thanks in advance guys!

I had to disable Package Disabler entirely (deactivate it from device admin rights) to get service mode (*#0*#) to work.

Hi Jack Man,
Where can I find Package Disabler? My Device Admin contains only:
Lookout > set to on or Activated
MobileIron > for my work email set to on or Activated
Android Device Manager > set to On or activated
Outlook Delivery Policy > set to off or Deactivated
Can it be found in any of those?
Thanks in advance!

It's just an app that can be purchased in the Google play Store that is used to disable things on the phone that can't be disabled through the phone's normal application manager. If you haven't installed it, it's not on your phone
Hi Jack Man,
I got Package Disabler now installed. Whats my next step?

You simply asked what Package Disabler is. I never said you needed it to get you service mode working. If *#0*# wasn't working before, installing that app isn't going to help.
I'm not sure I understand what your motive is. At the beginning of this thread you said you're trying to check if your fingerprint scanner is working. After looking at the options in my service mode menu, I don't even see anything regarding the scanner.
After re-examining the service menu (*#0*#), there is a fingerprint sensor test under the general sensor test area.
I don't know why you're not able to access it, though.
