Try flashing back to stock rom through LG support tool and then try to root it and unlock the bootloader once again. Because it should work if you do it the right way

If you tried to install a custom ROM, you must have a recovery installed (TWRP ou CWM). Try to restart your phone with Volume Up + Power, when you sense a little vibration release the two buttons and press then again (keep pressed). In the screen, you can select Recovery with the volume keys, and power to select.

[Q] Can't boot into recovery but can boot normally-xperia S

Hello there, I'm a bit new to this, but I wanted to try flashing a custom rom. I was using So I chose Carbonn 4.4.4 rom. Prior to that I installed doomslord CMW recovery 6.0.30 and did a backup of my Rom. Then I booted into recovery, wiped the data and flashed the carbonn Rom. Everything went fine, then I realized I hadn't flashed the gapps. So I rebooted my phone into recovery (Pressing the volume up button at the 'sony' logo). However it doesn't boot into recovery. The led light turns blue and it's stuck on the Sony logo. The only way to get out of it is the power down the device manually by pressing the power button and volume up button.
Rebooting into recovery only causes this problem. Otherwise it boots normally into the carbon Rom. How do I restore my backup? Since I can't boot into recovery?

The latest Carbon ROM has recovery which doesn't work on Our phone. Follow the procedure here to flash a working recovery.
Tried that but cant seem to work. Besides it requires busy box to be installed which I cant seem to install. Any apk for that matter cant be installed. It shows "Cant open file"

if You are on latest version of carbon, You wouldn't need to root as the ROM is pre rooted. Are You sure Your apk file are good? Because in any case, You must be able to install at least an apk file. Did You try messing with the ROM before?

[Q] Assistance required (boot looped T800)

Hey guys,
I recently rooted my T800 10.5 Galaxy tab with CFAutoroot and flashed TWRP with hopes to be able to flash custom Roms.
Last night I attempted to flash a 5.1.1 ROM which went off without any issues, but the ROm was a bit too buggy for my liking so I went to flash my nandroid backup which had the stock ROM on it, since then I have been boot looped, been stuck on the "Galaxy Tab S powered by Android screen for over 12 hours.
Can someone please direct me to the correct way to hard reset the tab as no combination of buttons will allow me to turn it off to get into download mode.
Also, if someone could link me a Odin flashable stock ROM for KitKat or lollipop That would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
To restart hold POWER + VOL DOWN.
For download POWER + VOL DOWN + HOME.
Hold the buttons until the desired mode is reached.
Your backup should work. First wipe system, data and cache then flash your nandroid backup.
Make sure your nandroid has the boot partition backed up. If you don't then you can flash either a stock kernel or one of the custom ones from the development section.

Can't wipe data on CWM

I am running android 4.2.2 on my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duo
I have recently rooted my phone with superSU
And I am trying to install an unofficial version of lollipop 5.1.1
When I press Volume Up + Home + Power to get into CWM it says "Unknown Command" and takes me to the default recovery menu.
I can get into CWM by putting my phone in download mode and flashing it with ODIN temponarly.
And when i go to wipe data on CWM, it doesn't say yes anywhere, it just shows 5 no's
I have tried scrolling up and down with the volume keys but had no luck.
What im looking for is just how do i get the no's to say yes
Can anyone please help me quickly?
I have rooted many phones but never worked with CWM or custom ROMS
Thanks
-Niko
Flash custom recovery using odin and when the phone is done and restarts IMMEDIATELY press vol up+home to enter recovery. Otherwise custom recovery wont be installed
use TWRP, way better than CWM.

That is recovery. It is the stock recovery. You can only make images with custom recovery like twrp. You have to install twrp recovery with odin.
Are you trying to make a backup of your system? You can only do any of that in custom recovery. I don't understand what you mean by "make a recovery image". It doesn't mean the same thing as it does in Windows. Making a recovery image in Android is making a copy of the recovery system itself in image form, or creating one.
Those options you see on screen, that IS Android stock recovery. It's options are limited.
I think when you say you want to make a recovery image, you really mean you want to create a nandroid backup of your system. Which is a sort of " snapshot" of your system right now that can be restored later to go back to that point.
yes, you are correct. i am trying to make a nandroid back up. I have installed clockwork rom manager and twrp from the android market, maybe i need to install it using odin. I will look for a tutorial on that. I want to try marshmallow and a couple of other roms, but i want to make sure i have a good backup ya know. Thank you for the reply

Rom manager and twrp manager are just apps. They can only install the actual recovery system on a rooted device. If not rooted, you must use odin.
Download odin on your PC. Then download a .tar of twrp recovery from their site twrp.me
Use odin to flash twrp onto your phone.

Help, Can't boot to recovery after installing Custom ROM (E6883)

Hello!
I need help, yesterday I was on stock ROM 32.4.A.0.160 rooted with TWRP installed, and then I tried installing Custom ROM which is Resurrection Remix 5.8.5. this is my step:
1. entering TWRP - Wipe Dalvik Cache, Data, System.
2. Format Data to make sure everything's clean.
3. Installing Custom ROM and GAPPS - wipe dalvik cache then reboot.
it successfully booting to desktop, the problem is, when i tried to go to Recovery, whether from power menu or combo button, it doesnt boot to recovery, it's only sony logo, then black screen, then sony logo and booting to system. No LED indicator, nothing.
weird things is when I flashed back to stock ROM and installed TWRP, it's all great. LED indicator is there. I've tried flashing another custom ROM (XZ2 Style, which the twrp is included). same method as i said above, same result. still can't boot to twrp. If anyone know where i did wrong, please help.
Thanks in advance!!
How are you going into Recovery? There are two approaches to this:
1. During Sony logo boot screen, and when LED light comes up you press volume button to go into recovery (Recovery is part of boot partition)
2. Pressing Power and low volume key to go to Recovery (Recovery is part of Recovery partition)
I suggest you go to fastboot mode and flash TWRP to recovery one more time.
