[Q] Assistance required (boot looped T800) - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I recently rooted my T800 10.5 Galaxy tab with CFAutoroot and flashed TWRP with hopes to be able to flash custom Roms.
Last night I attempted to flash a 5.1.1 ROM which went off without any issues, but the ROm was a bit too buggy for my liking so I went to flash my nandroid backup which had the stock ROM on it, since then I have been boot looped, been stuck on the "Galaxy Tab S powered by Android screen for over 12 hours.
Can someone please direct me to the correct way to hard reset the tab as no combination of buttons will allow me to turn it off to get into download mode.
Also, if someone could link me a Odin flashable stock ROM for KitKat or lollipop That would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

To restart hold POWER + VOL DOWN.
For download POWER + VOL DOWN + HOME.
Hold the buttons until the desired mode is reached.
Your backup should work. First wipe system, data and cache then flash your nandroid backup.
Make sure your nandroid has the boot partition backed up. If you don't then you can flash either a stock kernel or one of the custom ones from the development section.

[Q] Phone stuck at samsung boot animation

Hey guys!
So I accidentally flashed a rom meant for CM10 roms on my stock based rom and my phone wouldn't boot! So I tried to odin back to stock but that didn't work, so I found the pit file for the n7100 16gb and THAT didnt work, it is still stuck at the samsung boot animation! So what should I do now?
I go it, nevermind. Just had to boot into recovery using VOL UP + HOME + POWER then do a factory data reset and cache wipe.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

[Q] Having flashed a stock ROM via Odin, my N7105 will not boot

Hi, I'm fairly new to Rooting and ROM flashing but having successfully flashed a few ROMs to my N7105 (Note II International LTE), I decided to go back to the stock firmware.
Having flashed the stock ROM for my region, my phone now does not get past the Samsung logo. It appears as though everything went ok in Odin but the phone just won't boot!!
Having done a bit of searching, I think it might be that my data/dalvik cache needs to be wiped (if I've got that wrong, be nice - I'm new to this!). Thing is, I can't find a way to wipe this cache without loading in to CWM recovery or similar. The recovery that I can currently boot in to does not allow me to wipe cache, only to go in to download mode or to reboot.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Never mind, just discovered holding Volume Up, Home and Power boots in to the actual recovery mode from which I did a factory resst.
Told you I was a NOOB

Note 8.0 stays at Samsung splash and won't go in to recovery mode.

I rooted my phone with Odin and installed cyanogenmod 10.2 for the n5110. Everything went perfect and I then installed Google Apps and it all ran perfect. I had a backup I saved from twrp from before I installed cyanogenmod and when I used twrp to recover it I think I recovered the system too. Now it boots to the Samsung splash that glows and won't do anything else. I can get it to go to download mode and Odin sees it. I tried to flash twrp to make it pop up but it goes straight to the Samsung splash again(before I knew about being able being able to boot straight to recovery mode). I heard you can flash it back to stock? What should I do?
Well you shouldnt try to restore a backup from a different rom especially if the backup is from a samsung based rom onto a AOSP based rom.
As far as what you should do. Boot directly into recovery using volume up+power button+home button and then u can either flash back to cyanogenmod or go back to the rom that you used to make the recovery.
If your phone won't boot into recovery you can always flash back to stock and start over. This involved ODIN+stock rom for your particular device there is a list at http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N5110. Make sure you pick the correct one that came with your device originally ideally.
When you restore a backup, you have to restore everything including system and boot. Especially if you are switching between touchwiz and aosp. Try flashing a touchwiz kernel since the aosp kernel won't work with a touchwiz rom, and if you didn't restore the kernel or boot.img then that's why your boot failed.

[Q] Keyboard, power and camera button dead. How to install recovery.

So my S3 just died a day ago and the only other phone I have right now is the Epic 4g but unfortunately the Keyboard is dead. Only the Volume rockers are working, the power and the camera button is dead too.
I can still power on the device using a jig, it also helped me jump to download mode as the custom rom I had was stuck in boot loop. So I was able to flash stock FC09 using Odin.
Now since the phone isn't detecting the keyboard the only way to wake the device is to connect and disconnect the usb cable.
So, I was trying to install CM as CM has a option where we can set the volume rockers to wake the device up.
But unfortunately I haven't been successfully able to install any recovery. Since I can't stop the device before rebooting after flashing a recovery through odin, samsung replaces the recovery back to stock. Rom manager too have been unsuccessful. Framaroot is able to root the device but that too for some reason is just a temporary root, after a few restarts its gone. I tried flashing two or three kernels that were available which were prerooted and had recoveries inbuilt but unfortunately they too didn't work. The Shadow Kernel with the CM recovery was just messed up as it was unable to locate and mount any of the partitions.
I even tried looking for a custom rom or a prerooted rom which can be flashed through odin but I have been unable to find anything the whole day.
I thought the easiest thing to do was to replace the recovery image in the tar but that too requires ubuntu and some coding and than there is a format and queue and if the .img/.bin files aren't installed in that order then it will brick the device.
Can some one just direct me to a odin flashable .tar cm rom or a stock rom with built in cwm recovery which I can then use to install cm.
Please give solutions considering:
I can't jump to recovery after download mode as neither power nor camera button works. So any recovery flashed through Odin just gets overwritten back to stock.
Your help is highly appreciated.

Can't wipe data on CWM

I am running android 4.2.2 on my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duo
I have recently rooted my phone with superSU
And I am trying to install an unofficial version of lollipop 5.1.1
When I press Volume Up + Home + Power to get into CWM it says "Unknown Command" and takes me to the default recovery menu.
I can get into CWM by putting my phone in download mode and flashing it with ODIN temponarly.
And when i go to wipe data on CWM, it doesn't say yes anywhere, it just shows 5 no's
I have tried scrolling up and down with the volume keys but had no luck.
What im looking for is just how do i get the no's to say yes
Can anyone please help me quickly?
I have rooted many phones but never worked with CWM or custom ROMS
Thanks
-Niko
Flash custom recovery using odin and when the phone is done and restarts IMMEDIATELY press vol up+home to enter recovery. Otherwise custom recovery wont be installed
use TWRP, way better than CWM.
