i have been using the p3300 for a month now an it was working fine but all of a sudden i couldn't use my stylus. i tried the screen allignment but the screen didnt respond so i restarted the device. this also didnt work. i also tried a soft reset. no results so i did a hard reset now i am stuck at the screen where it says " Tap to start your device "
Plz Help....
Hi
It sounds then like the touch function of the screen has stopped working.
If you have only had it a month depending on where you got it you may be able to return it.
Sorry about this
Cheers Dave
maybe
seems like that to me too
still i hope i wont need to
anyway thanks
no problem
Anytime
If you have not yet returned it, try taking the screen protector off if you have one on.
My screen stopped responding to touch a while back. When I took the protector off all was fine.
could be it
may be but i am not sure about it i will try it nonetheless
Thanks
screen needs rest ??
nope no use the screens gone crazy i guess
it recognises a few strokes when left for a few hours the goes dead again
maybe it need some rest
On the screen, round the edges make sure there’s no gunk under the gap between the case and screen. You will be surprised what can get under there. Flat Plastic tooth picks are good for clearing it
i am nooob
cant try it
dont really know how to remove the screen guard
cant find the seam
Hi
You might not be a Noob. You can only remove a Screen Guard/Protector if you have actually put one one.
Also i still dont think there is much you can do.
If it does work after a while it is possible that the screen calibration has gone haywire If you get chance to use it try doing that it may help
Cheers Dave
mine to same problem please help

[Q]Xperia Pro - Screen Issues

Hey guys,
My Xperia Pro has been running into some problems with the display as of late. What happens is after a short period of keeping the phone idle, it doesn't wake up. When the power button or the home button is pressed, it just shows a blueish-black screen and the lights between the physical buttons light up. Same thing happens when the keyboard is slid out. The backlight of the keys work but the screen still shows a blueish-black color. After trying again and again, the screen finally works, just to run into the same problem after locking the screen.
I tried changing the ROM and flashing a different kernel to no use. Then I finally flashed a stock Gingerbread firmware. Now the screen doesn't show any blueish-black shade or anything else at all!!!! I have currently just left my phone to charge because I don't want the battery to run out during this crisis. I have also re-booted many, many times by pulling out and re-inserting the battery.
Any suggestions and tips would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!
My Xperia Pro have the same issue . Like when unlock , no screen (black) ,
The issue I found out is having something to do with my back cover
ie. If I remove the cover and reboot , and then unlock /lock , no problem, As soon as i put the back cover , it unlocks with black screen , I was sure no kernel or fw was the reason , as i have been through diff kernels and fws /roms without an issue like this , and as soon as the black screen shows and you try to restart it wont even show the logo , so i was damn sure ,its no kernel issue , Please check this method , i will try to find the exact issue why the back cover is making this.
Update: Found out that the push made by back cover with the battery (which basically may be jamming the strip or something inside) is making the problem , It may have more to it than this ,anyway this is my phone's problem
Screen on but no display

That actually worked for me initially..removing the back cover and rebooting. But its not now, what ever I do I only see the dim lit LCD screen.
But yeah, I am able to unlock the phone in the blind and also hear the increase/ decrease in the volume by pressing the volume rocker and also touch and hold on the home screen to feel the vibration (guess for removing the widget or something that's already there).
So is there any solution for this, or any first aid before I get my Xperia Pro to the service centre ??

Screen issues! Semi-bricked?

Hi, my One X is misbehaving and I'm not sure how to fix it. Factory reset, root and installing a new ROM didn't fix it, but seemed to help it wake up. Basically the issue is that it doesn't wake up 100% of the time from sleep, although it does some times. Video link below is the same issue although not my video. Anyone know if there's any cures for this? Seems to be fine for about 30 minutes maybe then the screen messes up. It's still responsive but if I turn the screen off then it won't turn back on! Halp! Thanks if anyone knows if this is fixable or not. If you need any more info please ask and I'll try and provide it.

BFD(black screen of dead) the only one solution is to repleace mainboard if you have warranty go and send for repear if no warranty again you must to repear but they will charge you. And one more thing turn on the dysplay and do pressure between the down right site on the main camera and display and see what will happend! It is not dysplay problem I have the same and they changed the phone with new one. SORRY MAN.

Tab S (T-705) Problem

Hey guys. Need some help. So i bought this tab last year about oct. Then at first it was good then a flashing green/yellow lines flicker everytime it goes 30% below and battery drops randomly and rising. I did a factory reset and nothin happened. The problem still persist. Then what i did is tried to contact samsung about it and about the warranty and stuffs. So yes i need to surrender my tab to them in order for them to repair. So after a day or two they texted me.my tab is now okay and ready to be picked up. After that yes everything seems to go normal. But again. After a few months later. The problem returned. Everytime it got lowbat about 15% below now. The line flickers of doom reappears and reboot the tab by its own. So the only solution i got now is turn on the power saving feature of the tab. Whenever i activate it the flickers won't appear even my tab is lowbat. So any help guys? Is this hardware or another bug or whatsoever by the tab? Please help me.
It sound like your battery is faulty, you need to get it replaced.
Tablets with 4g can use a type a Samsung code into the keypad and bring up a list of diagnostic information, one of them is supposedly for the battery and can calibrate it, see what it says, you can get the in this thread.
