[Q] Verizon VoLTE AKA Advanced Calling 1.0? - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone have any insight into if or when it will become available on the Note4. I know they support it on the GS5 but was unsure if our device is in the pipeline for it.

[Q] Moving from AT&T to TMobile. How to get TMo specific features?

Is there any way to get Wifi Calling to work?
Also, hotspot seems to not work because of some AT&T specific check. Is there any way to bypass?
Not sure about the hotspot stuff, but the WiFi calling is something that has to be built into the ROM, as such, if you purchased an AT&T G4, you will not be able to use WiFi calling. You'd need to buy the T-Mobile specific G4 in order to do that.

I think it can be done.
Well, we have the system dump from the H811 (TMOUS) version, and the system dump from the H815 (international) version. I'm sure someone can look at both of those as well as the other devices that have managed to do this (S4, M8, etc.) to see the differences and make a flashable "wificalling.zip" file. I might dig into it later. No promises.

VoLTE support in stock or Custom ROM

Hi,
I just got a sim that only supports LTE and VoLTE for calls and messages and basically any connectivity. So what I am looking for is a way to add VoLTE support to my LG G3 D855 32GB International Unlocked phone. It can be a stock ROM addition or a custom ROM, which supports it. Internet data connectivity works fine, just for the VoLTE part I have to use a custom app, which calls over the internet through LTE, but I'd like to have the VoLTE functionality integrated in the ROM. If someone has a solution then it'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
First of all check if your phone is capable of VoLTE.. Most of snapdragon and Mtk phones are capable of it.. Second if it is capable then change modem/baseband as per the requirements of service provider. And some minor build.prop addition.. Then you may use Volte. Anyhow cm13 can be made volte capable..

RCS Issues

Good afternoon,
I am wondering if anyone here has been able to get RCS going through Android Messages? I am with Rogers in Canada, who have enabled RCS however I cannot get the "enable enhanced messaging" options to show up on my phone in the latest version of Android Messages (2.1.163). If you have been successful, can you report what ROM you are using?
After contacting Rogers, all they can offer to tell me is they can only confirm it will work on Rogers branded phones. I figure maybe because this is an unbranded and unlocked device, my phone isn't getting flagged on their network to enable this feature. So I began exploring build.prop options and added the following line with no success (as of yet): persist.rcs.supported=1
Anyhow if anyone has advice they could share it would be really appreciated!
I have a feeling it has something to do with Roger's side. Rogers only enables VoLTE on certain phone models, I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with RCS.
I'm having the exact same issue, would be nice if somebody else could chime in on it. Been trying to get RCS for the past month with no avail.
I'm tempted to pop my sim card into a rogers branded phone and see if the banner comes up
EDIT: Just realized this post is almost 2 months old, to OP; Did you eventually get RCS yet or is it still not working?

$250 Bounty for getting HD Voice working on a Stock 5.0.1 OK2 S4 i337 on AT&T network

Hi,
(I did not know if I should use <DEV> or <MOD> in the title, so please update with appropriate tag)
AT&T is dropping 3G support soon, so my Samsung S4 (i337) will not longer work when they do.
But I have my S4 setup the way I want (rooted, Xprivacy, etc) and do not want to switch to a newer phone.
So, if any developer can figure out how to enable HD Voice on my phone, I offer $250 if you can get it working on AT&T network. The S4 Mini supports HD Voice, but for some reason the i337 doesn't.
With my research, I was able to get only so far to the setting to enable HD Voice, but it seems some system files need to be added/modified to enable this feature fully:
