Hello,
I bought my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 two days ago and yesterday i noticed that the little plasic stripe where the speaker grill is is slightly raised in a curved shape. I was wondering if this was normal? And if not where can i fix it? Do i have to go back to my provider (KPN) or just go to the samsung store?

Not damaged, have that too
This is normal mate...
The bump on speaker grill is not only to ur handset. This is in order to avoid blockage of holes of grill when u place it on any flat surface and the sound can be listened better through the gap.

Same Issue
I'm Also Facing the Same Dust Issue. But I Found a Solution to it (Kind Of Temporary)
You Can Open the Plastic Cover By Using A Sharp Plastic Tool.
It is Hold onto Place by Clips,Now Remove That Back Cover.
You Find Another Cover Below it. There About 10-12 Philips head (2.0) Screw. (not Sure How many Screws are present. Didn't Count )
Just Unscrew it. Clean the Lens By using Anti-Fiber Cloth
Or using Ear Cleaning Buds With Isopropyl Alcohol.
TADA ! The Dust Is Gone Temporarily.
PS: Try not To Scratch The Screws. Just In case it Goes For Service

Warranty
if your device is covered with warranty(although not one year has passed from it's release) give it in service center.
\if you don't care about warranty, DIY... :good:
Hi,
Past few days at high volumes the top speaker voice is shattering. I removed the top grill and cleaned.Even after cleaning the problem persist. So i tried removing the black dust cover over the speaker and speakers were working perfect .
It seems the paste the culprit is the lose black dust cover over speakers.Any idea how I can stick it back properly or which adhesive to use
thanks

Are you sure there's not small metal fragments in that black screen? Metal fragments will do that.
A small issue thats bugging me is that the top speaker grill gets easily clogged up when using the phone. as they are so small to even clean correctly and already mines looking horrible and dirty but no way to get into the grills to pick it clean or blow it out.
a fine needed however slow and sometimes painful as the needle needs to be so small you end up hurting your thumb.
tape over the grill doesnt seem to be collecting it
ive read compressed air may not work if it cant blow it up due to the size.
The only thing i can think of would be something like cyber clean putty so has anyone got some and does it work?

Worth trying a Dyson vacuum or the likes
I have a normal Dyson but and tried it but doesnt seem strong enough to get it out the gril. hair products probally didnt help the grill
I have an Axon 7 and I heard using a clean toothbrush to clean the speakers helps. Maybe the same can be done on the Razer phone
I have used a strong magnet to get metal and a kneaded eraser to get some of the rest. I would not use compressed air, blowing into the speakers may ruin it.
Flicking the holes with a needle a few times and then a very soft tooth brush has worked good enough nice to have a pair of awesome speakers again
Try getting a small bristles paint brush guys, I've had front firing speakers on phones since the HTC One M7 and it works so well

Thanks for the tip, got it looking a lot cleaner now with a normal tooth brush but had to apply a little more pressure and cover screen just to prevent any damage
Another method i found useful is using those sticky gel to pick up the dirt, works for me, call Gulu cleaner gel, pick them up from amazon real cheapie
How do you prevent it from happening in the first place
