Hey Guys,
i got since yesterday my Moto 360. Everything works fine, exept this Charging Problem.
I've made an short clip to explain it:
This problem goes on until the Battery is dead...
Ive tried:
- Reset
- Put on charge, then Power off (works sometimes, if the Device is not powering up)
- Developer Options (put on or off the Screen while loading)
System is Android Wear 4.4W2, no new Updates available.
Ive also got an Bug Report to download, dunno if anyone can see something interesting in there:

Thanks for Help!

Did a search in the forum and the other "dead desires" don't seem to be like mine, so here's going -
1) I flashed to latest MIUI rom and vorkkernel yesterday.
2) The phone worked for a few hours, then all of a suddenly the screen just went blank and the phone shut down.
3) I tried to switch on the phone in both normal and recovery mode by holding down vol down button, neither way works. The only thing that happens when I press power button is the notification LED blinks orange then green repeatedly.
4) I took out the battery for a few hours and replaced it, same thing
I don't really think it is the rom or the kernel, since I did the same thing a few months ago and there was no problem. But I can't even power on my phone now
Anybody can help?
Help ? Or did I post in the wrong forum
just hope it's not motherboard related ...
Hey !
I might know the problem, take out the battery and look if the things that go into the battery on the phone are right. My friend had the same problem, but we fixed it. Just use something to fix those small things so they are up, and not to the corners.
Hope this helped
I guess its a battery issue, try with *new* battery.
Crap, still won't work
Hey all,
This is the worst thing ever! My Samsung was working like a charm for the last 1-2 weeks. Then last night I put the Android sleep app on again, same as yesterday, and then it suddenly somewhere died in between then and 6 hours later when I woke up.
- Phone does not wake up anymore
- Phone does not charge anymore
- Connecting USB, wired adapter does not do anything
- Going to bootloader does not work
- Windows does not recognize my phone in my computer anymore
- Screen is black all the time, and no sound is there
What should I do? Can I revive it somehow? Or just send it back to Samsung?
Thnx a lot for ur help guys!
And it is alive again. Unbelievable, but true :/
Full battery etc.
???!!!??? Do not know what happened anyone an idea? ???!!!???
did you tried pull battery?
My phone is doing the same....just decided to break last night...
It unfortunately isn't just working.
This is the code I get in hardware manager:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Was there an update recently that might have caused this?
So taking out the SIM and booting seemed to fix it. (I had a mini panic attack for nothing )
I did also try disabling/enabling in the hardware manager; but I can't confirm if that did the trick. It didnt reboot until I pulled the sim out. Strange.
Same here ... my GN, bought in Germany 2 weeks ago, just stopped working and did not reboot until I removed/restored the SIM card and the battery and tried to boot again. Worked.
Thanks for the SIM card hint.
I had first pulled the battery, waited for 10 minutes ... no good
left it charging for 30 minutes ... no good
tried bootloader ... no good
SIM + battery ... switch on worked
I had the same this evening.
After a phone call,I heard a click and the screen was black.
Try to put it on again,no way.
He was not loading too.
Then I pull out the battery, and put it back in.
Then he did it again.
Strange
If this happens again,I bring the phone back, and ask for a new one.
Hey folk, there were many degrees C° when you have found the problem!
It was cold?
I have this problem for me is the cold......At temperatures below 10 ° C, the phone hangs with all the problems described in the first post
i had the same issue last night.
The Nexus worked really fine - 5 minutes later - dead/off.
Charging, removing the battery, removing the sim-card - nothing works.
Then i read this thread and 5 min. later i tried again to remove battery and sim at same time. This worked fine - good.
My Nexus was not cold and we had about 22°C.
I'm not very happy about this.
Hello,
sadly my Gnex isn´t working anymore. I´m going to sent it to repair but there is one big problem - i don´t want to loose all my vacation photos (i´m recently back from a two week trip to thailand).
This is what happened during my trip:
1. Charger problem
- the charging indicator was shown permanently. Even when the phone was switched off it showed the white charging-screen
-> i got that fixed by cleaning the usb-connector of the phone (there was some slightly humid fuss inside)
2. The real problem
- some days ago i plugged my phone to my charger and went to sleep, but at the next morning my phone doesnt react anymore
-> nothing is shown on the phones screen
-> when i connect my phone to a pc without battery nothing happens
-> when i connect my phone to a pc with battery the pc makes a "connection-error-sound", shows "OMAP4440" as a device for 2 seconds and then a "disconnect-sound" followed by the device disappearing
3. The question
- is there any way to get my phone back alife or at least recover my data in some way?
- may this behavior be caused by high humidity (compared to germany)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I can only assume your phone is having a hardware malfunction.
But if it is software; this should get you running.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1760787
You can then potentially use adb to pull /data/media/DCIM/ to get your camera pictures.
I followed the guide in the post and the procedure seems to work but a still can´t use the phone, the result is the same as before.
Two notes:
- i can only follow the guide with my battery inserted because otherwise the pc is not detecting my phone
- the included bat-file seems to be an infinite loop, isn´t it?
Any suggestions?
Hi guys,
Shortly after I got my screen replaced (and possibly the flex cable) I noticed my Play turning off when it was in my pocket.
I went to investigate and found out it turns off because it gets "tapped" on the top. I can't use my phone with this issue.
Opening and then closing the gamepad at normal speed turns it off completely too.
I'm running CM9 (FXP) and I've just done a wipe and still nothing...
Anything is appreciated,
- Shane

I think your flex cable wasn't attached properly. I had a similar problem earlier

Possibly the prawns that connect to the battery are damaged/loose. Therefore not connecting to where they should be, when u drop your phone into your pocket or slide open gamepad.

Hi guys,
I been experiencing some very annoying bugs with my Note 2 lately so I thought I would share them all with you. First, here is a presentation of the device :
- N7100, second hand one, it fell a few times but I don't think it broke anything on the phone.
- Currently rooted Android 4.1.2
- I have installed Perseus kernel in response to that SDS chip I have... (but my problems were already there before)
Alright, now let's see my problems :
- the BIG one : phone turns off during the night sometimes, it happens like once a week, happened last night. OK, this is very weird because I would say that it is "shut down" if this didn't happen once : the phone looked like it was off but the led was working (green tilting which is my Whatsapp notification). Tried everything usual to turn the screen on but I had to push the power button for some seconds as I do to turn it on, it turned on as usual... important precision I think : I never had to remove the battery, just pushing the power button is enough.
- along with that bug, something weird happened last night. I was happily using wifi at my brother's and decided to sleep so I put the airplane as usual and good night... woke up with phone off as I said, turned it on and I had only 14% battery left, I am SURE I went to sleep with more than 55%... what the heck is my phone doing while I sleep ?!
- some of my apps shortscut disappear... they usually are in the apps so I just have to put them back on the desktop, and here comes the one that disappeared making the one I just added useless -_-'
- I use Viber and when I get a call, the phone won't stop vibrating! I have to turned it off and back on for it to stop.
Alright, now I have to tell you one thing : I am using Automateit and I have this rule "reboot the phone every night at five" and it worked great with my former SG3. I have like ten other rules that shouldn't be responsible for anything with these bugs. Just uninstalled it to make sure it has nothing to do with it. Does all of this remind you of any known bug ?
Here is a screenshot of my battery stats

Massive thanks for any readers and helpers :good:
