Where is your AT&T Galaxy Note 4 Made in?
South Korean.
All our phones should have come from the same place Korea.
Is there a Samsung factory churning out high end devices anywhere else other than Korea....? (Samsung is a manufacturer)
Viet Nam has a big Samsung manufacturer there

Both of my Note4s were made in Vietnam according to the box.
pulling the battery, under it, the sticker says "made in korea"
revision 0.2
And Samsung planning to invest another 3 billion dollars for another manufacturer in Vietnam. Soon lots of Galaxy phones will be made in Vietnam

Those don't seem to be AT&T variants. All the AT&T Note 4's are Made in Korea. (Glacier White and Charcoal Black)

I just got this phone 2 days ago, it's t-mo branded, says Samsung galaxy S II Android 4g when it boots. Yet looking at some of the pics in this thread, my phone doesn't look like the ones depicted.
How do I tell which phone I have exactly?
Thanks.

This forum is for the international version which is different from the carrier versions, you can check in settings>about phone and it should tell you your exact model number, you can then google it to get more info about your specific device
Like the original Galaxy S, there's over 9000 different variations based on each carrier. This is the forum for the international S2

Well, instead of asking strangers, since it's a T-Mobile phone you could have gone here:
http://galaxy-s.t-mobile.com/samsun...zygt*VAygtzlw*VyBpAgf+mA55Byf*VyBpAgf+mA55Byf
Or, you could have put "Galaxy S II" in the nifty "find your device" box in the upper right hand corner of the forum. You'd have found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1329
Thank you all. I'm not new around here, but again thank you for the information.

Your Tapatalk says you have the T-Mobile T989, which is a Galaxy S2 in name only. (It's a Samsung, it has a sAMOLED+ screen, but nothing else in that phone has anything in common with any other S2.)
There's a T989-specific forum if you go to the main XDA forum page and search the page for T989.
I got my phone through T-Mobile. Came via UPS.

T989 is T-Mobile version of the Gs2 family. your screen should be 4.5' instead of 4.3' and more rounded shape

And the T989 is the one variant I know of that doesn't have an Exynos - it has a Snapdragon CPU instead.
Just wondering if it is. I live in Korea and I bought a GN through Korea Telecom. My GN and even its batteries are labelled as 'Made in Korea'. Nowadays, everything is 'Made in China', yet my GN....
Is this only because I bought through Korea Telecom, or are your GN also 'Made in Korea'?
Mine is made in china
Not fair. My previous GN was made in China too.

My original Nexus (bought through WireFly) was made in China, and had a nice looking sticker behind the battery, I had to get it replaced through Verizon, and now I have a "Made in Korea" one with a cheap looking sticker, the phone works fine now, but it's weird how it changed.
I think what happened was the first couple hundred phones were made in Korea to make sure they get the manufacturing done correctly and check for faults. With that complete they would get the rest manufactured in china to save on costs.

Yup that is very likely. What about S3? Are all models of S3 made in Korea? If that is the case then it is obvious Samsung is giving piority for their own models over Nexus.

Samsung teases Galaxy S3 mini for October 11 launch
An invite sent out by Samsung for an October 11 launch event touts a smaller product on the horizon with the headline "The size may be small" and the subheading "and so small can be big," according to Google Translate. The text from Samsung's German branch is also translated as "that's how big small can be," says TechRadar. However you translate it, Samsung is teasing a big announcement about a small product.
Am I the only one who wishes that the gs3 had a bigger screen? I'm alright with it now but I wouldn't want it to be smaller.

I was looking at this http://www.androidauthority.com/att-galaxy-s4-sgh-i337-spotted-user-agent-profile-151132/
and why are they saying its the s4 with i337 when the note 2 is i317 it should be i748 or i847
Obviously a fake. Why would Samsung regress to the older design styling (which they've been found guilty of ripping from Apple), when all of their newer handsets are implementing the "designed from nature," pebble chassis? Don't give credence to something that's obviously a waste of time.
ugly fat lg vu look a like

idk either way, it's going to be a great phone.
"As the days continue to go by, more and more is leaked or rumored about the Samsung S IV. Today it was ‘supposedly’ spotted in a document again. The below image shows a device named Samsung SGH-I747 for AT&T. The document shows a 1080×1920 full HD res display, and since much is not known about the display of the Samsung Galaxy S IV, this ‘COULD’ be the S IV, or it could be another phone or Samsung tablet."
Ummm what? We have the i747 lol
Looks like a picture of 1st gen note.

I am personally waiting. The only place the s2 could be better is screen resolution. At this point sprints wimax and lte aren't that different. But if I were to buy now it would be a note 2 (not on Sprint, so sick of network issues). Everyone says nexus, but what good are os upgrades of the battery doesn't let you use all the cool features. The note will battery will last all day and into the next on heavy usage. Plus being able to jot down a phone number or address while on the phone without looking for a paper comes in handy.

Just order my nexus 4 on the 29th and already got shipping confirm. I guess Google and lg got their supply in ordered. Most of the new phones coming out has the same spec as the N4. The N4,is Half the price of the new phones coming out with tons of custom ROMs.

Hmm... unless you can prove there is no LTE in CA when http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2906-sprint-lte-coverage-maps-via-sensorly/ and all information at s4gru says so otherwise, don't say things you don't know.
Current Est. NV upgrades in CA to my knowledge
San Francisco Bay Market -- ~44%
South Bay Market -- ~15%
LA Metro Market -- ~32%
Orange county -- 9%
San Diego -- 15%
North LA -- 16%
UCV -- ~ 0%
LCV -- ~0%
All markets except the Upper Central Valley market and Low Central Valley market has begun with those two remaining ones to begin in the coming months.
The note2 looks almost comical, until you get a chance to use it. It is just awesome at making the giant screen seem practical. It is also very fast, with great battery. The only thing preventing me from buying one, is that I want to see if the other OEMs can make an even better experience on a 5.5" screen (though, I dont see how).
