[Q] how to fix this?

i have a desire hd 2.3.3,for months i have been getting blackberry's update on my phone,i tried to update it but it get stuck in middle of the way,i dont want this update,i just want a firmware update to 2.3.5,anyone knows to fet an update from htc?

Some more info is needed i think..
What rom are you using ?

using stock rom 2.3.3,i tried factory reset and try to update it,still it stuck in the middle of the way,the exclamation mark comed out

That's not a BlackBerry update. That is an HTC update, probably the 2.3.5 you want.

The update Is just 16 mb so I don't think it Is the 2.3.5 update. Probably just bug fixes....go to about phone > software update And then unttick the automático lock for updates....that should fix it.

You don't Get OTA updates when running a custom ROM. Apps have nothing to do with it either

there is no option for automatic look for updates but i have untick the schedule check but the same update notification come out when i check it,i just want the ota 2.3.5 update,

Rather thn waiting n trying to get an OTA why don't u just download the 2.3.5 RUU (I think 3.12 or 3.13 is latest) flash it on your phone and save urself from this annoying notification. And the above update is a patch for data transfer not for 2.3.5 firmware. Wht country and network r u using u phone on n is it network locked.

Turn on usb debugging on ur phone run the RUU as admin on ur computer follow the instructions and will have 2.3.5 with sense 3.0 but u will loose all u data. But before u will need to Install htc drivers which u will find on google

[Q] System not mounted on 4.3

Hello, guys, I have recently installed Hawkish 4.3 rom in wich you must re-root the phone after install. I had a little trouble rooting - su binaries couldnt install, but its done now, or it just says it is. The problem is, my system is not mounted and I cant use the multiwindow app manager or apps to delete system apps. Here's what Window app manager and SystemAppRemover says in the screenshot. Any help would be appreciated!

install via odin dr.Ketan prerooted rom and after back to hawkish..
did you install it from phil recovery???

that happened to me too and i also tried mounting it but nothing happened.

be careful with phil when reboot system...go back ..I forgot other options ...after click on reboot write another...be careful... go back...and system will rebooting....thats my fails...

I am now downloading Dr. Ketan rom and will tell you if the problem is solved.

Yup, that didn't work. System still not mounted. I have tried so many things, none of which work...

Hmm, no, I can't find odin flashable. I tried 4.1.2 with Superuser root and it worked, then I went back to 4.3 and I lost system mount again. When I flash the zip file for the root the final in the log is "unmounting system" and something else... When I try to manually mount it, it says that my root may have been lost or it doesn't do anything, it goes back to unmounted. Can you tell me where can I get the odin flashable and if it's possible to do it via Odin mobile?

insert in google odin download...you see odin1.85 xda developers...click and voila zip file download...that version is ok for me...odin3 v1.85

[Q] how to get root access to the 4.3 official UEMK4

i upgraded to 4.3 yesterday using odin. I am on the official India release version UEMK4.
I tried flashing SU but knox prevented it.
can anyone tell me how to get root access to the official version?

unlock the bootloader
download it from here http://www.mediafire.com/download/b...00XXUEMJ5_1903221_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5
use odin to flash it in PDA section this might help u
plus update the superSU by flashing zip file or by playstore

yes dude i used it to fix my wifi m using ditto note 3 rom n it hepld me

thnx man. I'll let you know of my progress.
BTW I need to clarify one more thing i have all my app settings in my TWRP backup which I just created yesterday. Now I want to flash my backup again and get a Titanium Backup of all apps. Then I am thinking of porting to Ditto v3 because 4.3 doesnot have anything worth the upgrade.
Can i do this after unlooking the bootloader or I just need to restore the TWRP backup?
Let me know your opinions.

Hello i want to know if there is error by root the f400 cause i can enter recovery mod but it seems that its not rooted cause i can not install any thing and it show me that the device need root .. I put some pictures if any body can see it and help me .. Thanks
note : I used the normal root like the way on this forum ( adb and bla bla .. ) and plus that i used toerlroot app and it works but still have some error in some thing in the recovery mod .

are you trying to boot into custom recovery if so you cant on your model twrp or cwm wont work

i can enter recoverymode but i can not install any mods from it , it says error or some thing.

Yeah you won't be able to because it's stock recovery and not custom

its worked i put the pictures from my phone
the file is in attachment and the steps are :
root then use this file (RecoveryInstaller-v1.0_AnZhi.apk)
press recovery ( it will show you its done )
then press reboot to recovery mode and it will be ok

Woke up this morning to notification of new software update from att. I'm already on the official KK update from couple of months ago. Anybody else get this? What is the update?

The update forced on my phone, crashed it because I had a custom recovery, so I had to flash back to. Jelly Bean and now I can't obtain root after re-updating.

Have you tried it on a device thats had the new ota update installed?
Also I thought there was a security concern with the kingo root method, something about it being from China and contains malwares that sends files back to its home server, supposedly these files are the ones necessary to clone the device.

download the freegee app from the play store and it'll install a recovery for you. Either clockworkmod or twrp
