using stock rom 2.3.3,i tried factory reset and try to update it,still it stuck in the middle of the way,the exclamation mark comed out
That's not a BlackBerry update. That is an HTC update, probably the 2.3.5 you want.

The update Is just 16 mb so I don't think it Is the 2.3.5 update. Probably just bug fixes....go to about phone > software update And then unttick the automático lock for updates....that should fix it.

You don't Get OTA updates when running a custom ROM. Apps have nothing to do with it either

there is no option for automatic look for updates but i have untick the schedule check but the same update notification come out when i check it,i just want the ota 2.3.5 update,
Rather thn waiting n trying to get an OTA why don't u just download the 2.3.5 RUU (I think 3.12 or 3.13 is latest) flash it on your phone and save urself from this annoying notification. And the above update is a patch for data transfer not for 2.3.5 firmware. Wht country and network r u using u phone on n is it network locked.

Ya.. Ya.. How to get stock recovery is also given in that article..
N unrooting the device is as easy as just deleting su binaries and the supersu.apk from the /system/ and then reboot.
This is followed by getting stock recovery using some fastboot.
This gets followed by Relocking BL, which is required to get OTA(JB).
Its just a reversal of all the process done for rooting a Tegra 3 One x.
If you are using a RUU you only need to :
Relock the bootloader and put the phone in fastboot USB mode and run the RUU from pc with admin rights !
If you are using a stock rom you need :
Stock rom (without root)
Stock boot.img (kernel)
Stock recovery
A rooted rom will never update official OTA files !
same problem here.I did everything to unroot my device.I even relocked the bootloader, the problem is that I couldn't find a suitable RUU for my device.I downloaded the original stock RUU(something like 1.29.xx)but when I run the RUU as administrator it shows my device has a newer version than it us going to upgrade.
Is there any other way to do it.I'm asking this because Im not getting the jellybean update notification.but I get the new system update notification which is 12.15 mb.
Sorry for the noob questions asked earlier.please help!

You need stock recovery to install an OTA update.
Well you are not on full stock that's why it get stuck !
Stock not rooted rom (original nandroid)
Stock boot.img (kernel)
Stock recovery
Or use the right RUU
Is what you need
Search for getting back to stock ! Q&A is full with these posts......
I'm not the one who's gonna spoonfead you ! It's damn easy to use a search button

Then you made a change somewhere. Or are you still rooted ? Or running a custom cwm ? Something is NOT original
Download the 4.03 ruu for your device and run it which will make sure everything is stock then do the OTA update to 4.04 then to 4.1.1 jb.

You have to unroot your rom, there is an app that can turn on and off the root function. I saw someone mention it in another thread ...don't know if it's in the playstore !
And you should have taken a nandroid backup from the official rom before you applied root !
The app is called ota root keeper ....

Well, technically not... You could get your hboot version and the CID using getcid from the store and figure it out, but a PC is needed to relock and flash the RUU, or flash the boot.img.

You can still update, just not through ota unless your custom rom supports it. You can update when your ROM developer releases an update, check his forum

I still don't think that it's a problem with you being rooted. It is most likely that you have edited/removed system files that are required for the update to install.
Try updating by using a full firmware, downloaded from the Huawei website, and doing a local update with that file. You shouldn't have any problems with updating then.
And also put the update in the internal storage instead of the sdcard, i know alot of ppl had problem updating from sdcard.

Can you give more information? What firmware do you currently have on your phone? And what are you updating to?
I can't understand that all updates are failing. There must be something that is preventing this. Either you have the wrong firmware downloaded, or the download is corrupt, or something isn't right.
