Hey there,
some hours after regularly updating to 4.6-BETA6 build pa_mako_userdebug 4.4.4 KTU84P 153 test-keys both PIE and navigation bar stopped working.
When in immersive mode, PIE won't show up no matter where or how hard I try to swipe.
When switching to navigation bar, the navigation bar shows up, but seems frozen / does not react to touching.
So I have no working back / home / menu button.
Going to Google Now from navigation bar (swiping up) works, so currently this is my only way of exiting apps/going to home screen.
Is this a known bug? Is there a fix/workaround?
EDIT: I already tried reverting to the previous PA version 4.6-BETA5 build pa_mako_userdebug 4.4.4 KTU84P 151 test-keys and resetting pie settings in settings->"backung and restore" without success.
Clean flash and try again.

The shortcut to Google Now, where you swipe up from the nav bar for me stopped working as soon as I had a call after a reboot in 15.4.A.0.23. I couldn't wait for the 15.4.A.1.9 update, hoping it would fix the problem, but it's still there.
Anyone else has this problem?

That usually happens when you don't have Google Search (Now) Installed from Playstore. If it is installed and still the navbar shortcut is not working just clean app data and cache of Google Search (Now) and reboot. I guess that should fix the problem

But it came installed with the update, I didn't manually install it or anything. And I have tried deleting the app cache and data. Nothing worked. And it's really getting on my nerves, because it's a really handy shortcut and I search from my phone fairly often. Thanks for the reply, anyway
my downloads are not showing on the notification bar, but they do finish correctly, whenever I download an app from the play store or something from the web, the download progress is missing. what could it be? I'm running official 5.0.1
Hi there,
it seems that i have the same issue on my htc m8 after updating to lollipop 5.0.1
Anyone has an idea how to make progress of the download to be visible in the status bar?

I figured it out. What you need to do is just to go to settings > apps > all. find "download manager" and enable notifications. Hope this helps to others who have the same issue.
Solution to this
What can I see that you have disabled the download manager. You can enable it by going to Settings>Apps>Download Manager.
Or you can reset preferences in the app settings
Got it
Also can try Settings>Sound & Notification>Manage App Notifications>Chrome>and turn them on
I have the same problem on Samsung tab S2 9.7 after upgrading to android 7. I tried the solutions posted here but I still don't have the download icon on the status bar. Is there another fix?
After installing a brazilian stock rom 4.4.4 (i was using this rom without this problem in the past, i had to reinstall it for downgrade from lollipop) my quickmemo, quickremote and voice mate apps are always turned on the quicksettings panel when i reboot my device.
I already tried to reinstall these apps, downgrade them, upgrade them for the last version.
If i turn them off, they stay off until my next reboot, so is not that annoying, but i want a way to make it work like it should. Any tips for what is happening?

Hello,
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 GT-N5110, stock JB 4.1.2, TWRP+Root
Since now all worked fine. I have nandroid backup made and even after restoring location still not working.
Few days ago I tried to update to KitKat but didn't like it so I restored to JB again using TWRP as usual. Each time I restored backup all worked fine, now I have location issues. All set up properly, all wiped and nothing.
I don't really know if this is connected to upgrade or not, because I didn't use maps few weeks before update.
I also noticed that after update when i switch to Download Mode for Odin I have Knox Warranty Void not on the screen and downloading mode rus little different. Previously I had just three lines in upper left corner now there are 6 and each partitions is restored or cleared it gives additional lines saying what was cleared or restored. Previously It was just a blue bar running and nothing else appears. Now this!
I thought when I do nandroid restore it will revert everything back but I guess it is not.
Does Knox have anything to do with Location Issues or is it just information that I lost my warranty?
To be precise, any weather widget cannot locate, Google Maps (stock, not updated) have thic compass icon to go back to current location not working, and when i try to save some location settings it crashes and says "Maps app was forced to close".
Web browser finding location, but when opening Maps there should be that blue arrow in place where I am, but it isn't appear anymore. And no messages pop up until I tap compass icon.
All services seem to work bit no location available.
It works fine on my SGS2 running GB
I got CM 12.1 and I do not like the # icon that appears in the notification bar when a process is running with root privileges. Is there a way to hide it? There doesn't seem to be an option. I've read that flashing SU fixes it but in the CM Nightly thread, they claimed it resulted in bootloop. If someone knows, don't hesitate to say!
Download SuperSU TWRP installable ZIP and installing it from recovery should fix # icon showing in status bar.
