Help me stuck in samsung logo on boot up. - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

So, I got bored yesterday and decided to put dirty unicorn on my phone. Did that no problem. I did do a back up and realized I put the back up on internal storage and erased it. After that I found a newer version of DU 4.4.2 and put that on. My phone had no data or call ability an in the about phone was not detecting the cell number. I panicked and tried to restore my phone back to the beginning of time unrooted. Stuck in samsung text logo now. Found out you can go back after you put Jelly Bean on. My phone has factory recovery and I can access the download screen(volume up screen for odin). I have read endless amounts of threads on fixing this. I think I am at the point where I need help.
Any ideas? I have done this numerous times. Just didn't realize my back up was not saved to the sdcard. Which is where I screwed myself. Sorry for not paying attention. Would really appreciate help with links.
Thanks in advance for all help. I am going to work and wont be home for 6 hours.

I'm stuck in a boot loop PLEASE HELP

I know there are other threads regarding this but I have a couple of different issues pertaining to it.
First of all I've been keeping up with nightlies for a while with cyanogenmod. I skipped them for about a month and updated to a new one two nights ago. It wasn't the best and i flashed back to an earlier version so that my gmail would work again. The bad news is that it is now in a boot loop. I have tried to boot it into recover to no avail. Now I have it stuck in ODIN MODE and I'm to scared to touch it any further.
I've used ODIN before but now I use a Macbook, so that makes things a little more difficult.
Any help would be awesome, I know there is a way to pull this back from the depths but after two and a half hours of searching has just left me scratching my head, and I know you guys are all pros at this.
I apologize if I put this in the wrong thread. I have been a frequent visitor of this site but have never had to post anything, hopefully I didn't mess anything up.
Thanks for the help in advance, I really appreciate it.
you have no choice but to use odin and flash back to stock FM. If you get boot look again, boot into stock recovery and clear cache and factory reset. You should be fine, i,m not sure how stable mac odin is but on windows it worked every time to kick me out of boot loop

Phone Not Booting - Very Weird Issue

I'm having a weird issue with the phone not booting up, and wanted to see if anyone could offer some insight.
Got the S3 the beginning of the month, the only thing I did was use this guide to root the phone - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426 Have not put any custom rom on the phone, just the rooted stock. It was running smoothly till last week. Put my phone in my pocket leaving a building and got in my car pulled it out and I was faced with the dreaded "Glowing Samsung Logo." Nothing I did would get it to boot. I tried restarting (Holding Volume Up and Power,) then taking the battery out and restarting. No luck, get the ATT logo (droplets) and music, then the glowing samsung logo and nothing. I then tried taking the battery out and letting it out for the drive home. Get home, nothing still does the same thing. I then thought maybe it's the battery, so with the phone off I let it charge for an hour, tried to start it up and same deal no go.
I then did all the reading I could. I could get into Download Mode and Recovery, so I first tried wiping cache. That didn't work, glowing logo again. Then I bite the bullet, do a factory wipe and get the phone back up and running.
My first assumption through problem solving was that I did something wrong. Putting it in my pocket maybe the buttons got pressed in a weird manner. Maybe it's an app. But after setting the phone back up, it was running smoothly again - til last night. I set my phone down last night and when I come back to it I see the glowing logo again. Repeated all my steps again, no luck booting up, just a glowing logo. I figured I would take it to an ATT store to see what they can diagnose, but they are closed. So I used Odin again and tried just re-applying the rooted stock back on. No luck, bite the bullet wipe the phone and it's up and running again.
Can anyone give me any insight into what is happening. I have looked at the Sudden Death threads and it would seem that I don't have the issue. Maybe a bad assumption, but the fact that I can always get into Download Mode and Recovery leads me to think I don't have the Sudden Death issue. I'm perplexed and can't think of why this issue is happening or what the cause is. I would like to find the root cause of what is going on.
Anyone have any suggestions or things to investigate that would help me find out why it is happening?

It's just a simple bootloop, do you have any recoveries installed? If yes then make a nandroid backup, do a factory reset, then restore data.

Actually no custom recovery installed, had no intention to install a custom rom so I heeded the warning on the thread - " flashing a custom recovery will trip your counter no matter the method used." My most important data is sitting on the external SD, so I had that precaution in place.
I did start looking at the custom recoveries (CWM/TWRP,) know how they work (had CWM on my HTC Inspire) but in this case something is causing the phone to bootloop. I see the benefit of getting up and running quick, but I want to find the source of the problem.
Thanks for the response and taking time to answer.

It could be your hardware. Of course this is not my area of expertise. You could try to install a custom recovery, wipe everything (system, data, cache, dalvik) and try reinstalling the rooted rom via ODIN. You can use Triangle Away later if needed. If you do not want to go through all of this, you can try going through warranty (just be sure you counter is not tripped and you have stock unrooted before you do).

Thanks for the reply. I have all my apps now backed up with Titanium Backup just in case. I also checked for Sudden Death Syndrome with the eMMC Check app and it says I don't have an affected phone. I'm going to give it another week and see if the same thing happens again. If it does I'm going to go through warranty to get a replacement.

Honestly I suggest going into stock recovery and doing a factory reset and wiping cache. When you flash back stock with Odin you usually have to do a factory reset anyway because it will bootloop.
About tripping the flash counter is almost a non issue as all you have to do is use triangle away and Odin flash back to stock and its gone.

I actually did that, sorry I wasn't clear in my original post. This last time, I wiped the cache and rebooted the phone, that didn't work. Then I tried Odin to see if I could save internal data, re-flashed and again couldn't boot. Last thing I did was do a factory reset through stock recovery and got the phone to boot.

[Q] Help please! I think i bricked my S3!

Hey guys, basically, i'm new-ish to flashing, but i was able to do it following all instructions. Yesterday i installed an s5 theme from this site that caused my phone to have problems such as the wifi not working. I was reading that flashing a custom kernel might help, it didn't.
So i woke up, entered my TWRP custom recovery and stupidly factory wiped everything, now my phone wont get past the 'Samsung galaxy s III' screen, it just stays there. I have no idea what to do, i'm dumb enough not to make a recovery file before i started all this so i've ****ed up there.
If anyone can help me get my phone back i'll be extremely happy, i just want it working again! I have work in a few hours and really hope to fix it before then! Any help is appreciated.
well i posted this for someone else who wiped their phone, maybe it would help you. OR i got it all wrong. lol (i know, not so funny).
can you take your ext.sd card , put in different phone, download a ROM and whatever else you need. then place ext.sd card back in your phone and flash away? IDK, might work.
good luck.
err on the side of kindness
What mrrocketdog said, and you can flash a ROM with S5 theme already built in.. If you just want it back to stock, flash newest firmware for your device with Odin

M8 is unable to restart, no USB debug on, S-On, please help

I Have the following issue:
Some days ago my phone started to act weirdly, was getting error messages of all my apps that stopped working. After some searching on the internet I thought the best would be to do a factory reset using the boot menu.
I tried recovery first but this only gave the red triangle with a red exclamation mark. Booted back up but error messages kept spamming.
So then I tried to do a factory reset in the same menu, this started out well but when the loading was done the phone was stuck on the htc-logo screen. I had it there for some hours, but without any results.
I tried this process agqin, but no other result.
I tried some things listed on forums here and there but since I have not ever put the phone in developer mode I cannot get the PC to recognize my phone.
I read somewhere to flash with my SD-card but I did not found a full tutorial on that (considering I am a noob on all this).
The phone just turned 1y old and I really need one for work and other stuff so I am also wondering if there even is a way, if there is not you can give me the hard truth and I will order a new one. But would be stupid to not have tried all the options and found out later it could be fixed easily.
Anyway thanks in advance look forward to your replies
Pieter
have you unlocked your bootloader with HTCDEV and are you able to get in to fastboot?
if so you could flash TWRP and restore with a stock backup.
if not and you aren't able to get the device to be dectected by a computer, you may have to contact HTC for a repair.
I had the exact same problem as you and I tried a million different things but then this man saved my life and came to my rescue!

Lg G3 Stuck in Recover Loop After Android Update Error

Okay, So let me start from the beginning so I'm certain I'm being descriptive enough.
The other night my G3's wifi stopped working. When I went to turn it on in settings it would turn itself back off. Which I thought was strange. So, I assumed it was a software issue so I backed up any important items and factory reset my phone last night. That went over fine. Wifi worked again, all was good. Until, it said it needed an Android Software Update. I hit "update" and allowed it to do its thing. About halfway through the update the phone said "error." With an icon of the Android bot with a hazard triangle sticking out from it. I let it be for a bit and nothing happened. So in my impatience I took the battery out and put it back in and tried to restart the phone. This is where the issue occurs. The phone keeps booting to recovery mode. I'm not savvy at all with Android so I don't know if these mean anything but it says "Android System Recovery <3e> LRX21Y" The phone has had zero modifications done to it. I would really appreciate any help or any tutorials that could save the phone until my g6 preorder comes in.
Thanks!
Kyle
Your phone failed the update for some weird reasons and is now stuck. I'm afraid you'll need to restore stock Android using LG Flash tools and KDZ files to your device. It will get your phone working, but you'll lose your data in the process.
You can try mounting the phone from recovery or download mode and see if you can access your data and backup the data. You can also try the recovery option without downloading wnloaing a KDZ first.
You can fins tutorials around the forum, in the general section usually.
