Hey
Since I got the FreeXperia Project ROM 127 and the Kernel, i got one Problem after a nother.
For now it is the W-LAN. It probably connects to my router but dont load anything.
Now i found on the official FreeXperia Project page in change log version 128 but on their page aren't any downloads and i can't find another one.
got you a source for 128 or a Wlan fix for 127 ?
if there is no fix or a 1.000.000 % working ROM of FXP, can you advice me a better, really working ROM ?
??
What do you mean probably connects? can't I check ?
If u looked a bit u'd know 128 ain't been released yet.
WiFi should work just fine for me in127 and as far as I know aside from occasional disconnects ours not an issue
It connects to my wifi Router but there is No data stream, there is no Download Or upload. BUT it is connected i dont get this issue with any other wlan device

I'm guessing you already tried wiping all and fishing anew?
also may wanna try setting up static IP or deleting WiFi/hdcp
for others Re following this thread i have to say that i given up with this rom dont trying it anymore, im switched to JJ's hybrid rom. its much better than fxp.
bravia engine supportet, hdmi supportet, xloud, sony smart extras supportet but all on pure nexus AOSP experience!
but the biggest benefit is the battery life. with this cm9 trash my battery was emty after only 4 hours, i mean completle empty. now with jjs it does a hole day by power using the phone !!! only a tipp from me:
switch to arcknight kernel 3.3 and jjs rom 3.1, best stuff for xperia who wants aosp feeling with full supportet sony features excluding trash apps like fun and more or stuff

I'm currently running CyanogenMod 10, but I tried 4.2.1 before and I noticed it had some delay when you pressed the power button to lock the screen, compared to 4.1's animation.
So I reverted to 4.1 (CM10 in my case), but I wanted to know, did someone make a ROM that actually had that lock delay fixed? Also I don't know exactly which ROMs I should go for, so if someone could give me some tips I'd be grateful.
4.2.1 has come a long way. Yes you should try it. Power button delay is kind of small to make you revert to 4.1.1 compared to the other problems 4.2.1 had.
Try all the roms to get feel for which ROM is best for your device and personal needs.
To point you in the right direction try sourcery or black bean roms
I also see that problem with delay on power off. Everything else is good! New clock app, lockscreen and switches (better with AOSP R8) are great! Give it a try
Take my word, don't , 4.2.1 introduces significant battery drain across all the nexuses and all the kernels , keep it tight and wait for next update or KLP .

mine too.
+1. The time I spent on CM10.1, I did not notice any difference in battery from CM10.
I just got my Galaxy Nexus today (toroplus).
If I take the OTA now will I have problems rooting it later?
Odp: Should I try 4.2.1 now?
No, why should you?

Nexus phones are open devices. No matter what, rooting will always be easy. Thats the beauty of the Nexus line.
Coming from a Motorola phone, I know where you are coming from though.
Go on 4.2.1 ...Try Xylon 18 + Purity 20 Kernel, the combination is amazig, super fast and extremely smooth, also the battery is doing great!
Yes try some of the 4.2 ROMs. The amazing developers have fixed most of googles issues. Come on in...the waters fine.

Ridiculous and totally invalid claim.
Try AOSPA + AK Purity v020 or AK Dummy v670 and your phone will be smooth as butter.
Agreed

Completely agree with you. AOSPA with AK or Air kernel is extremely smooth. Do give it a try.
Regd battery life, You can expect anywhere between 17-18 hours with 3-3.5 hrs screen on time.
4.2.1 camera sucks big time

I'm on maybe the 4th release of 4.2.1 on the XENON HD series (toro). Version Stable-4.0. Franco kernel. Also using the seeder app to effectively eliminate lag on my particular device, YMMV.
As a daily driver, this ROM, for me, keeps getting better and better. The phone feels new again, and I hate "feeling" in this context.
Regarding the lock delay, can you be more specific? I observe a delay of one to threes seconds some times, other times, the delay is less than a second -- effectively instantaneous. I haven't investigated it further, but on this ROM, its been a non-issue for me. Anecdotally, the delay seems related to cellular network congestion.

I've tried XenonHD and Muzzy's rom so far, and I think I'm sticking with the latter. I noticed on XenonHD some bugs, for example I want to deactivate the expanded desktop on the power toggles, I unchecked it on the settings but it still was there, even after rebooting.
And I also tend to press back to close the notification bar after using the toggles there, but for some it didn't work on that ROM. And I also hated the "moto style" navbar icons, I much prefer the stock ones, especially since whenever I put my phone on landscape mode the buttons were really small.
I also checked the Paranoid Android and the Purity ROMs, but the former lacked settings for the battery icons and the latter had the dark version of the AOSP theme, which I hate.
Is there any ROM that should be better than Muzzy's? I'm not sure yet, but I think I like things mostly stock, seems to me that it is the best way to avoid bugs. In the end, I need a ROM that's stable and as bugless as possible, as I don't have much time nowadays to be constantly changing ROMs...
There's still tethering issues, random reboots (wifi and usb) also with light on, sometimes I cannot free RAM with no running applications and need to reboot, still slower than GB with no animations Force GPU rendering and stock kernel no bloatware and very light amount off apps, so I get back to GB, and you can notice thats much much better all working and quick, hope sammy fix in next release, better old working than new with all these bugs.

Are u serious?
Im on mc8 and i will never go back to GB.
Also you can use GB forever its your choice.
Btw. Here no random reboot,so fluid, so happy.
Maybe you did anything bad in instalatio? I have this rom and works really really fine without lags, bugs...
tethering
Read carefull, the reboots are due to tethering, and I need tethering working, tried XXMB2 XXMB4 and XXMC8 last tether drivers for windows and always the same, also there's no way for making quick at least as GB, where is the power of JB? some new gadgets but that's all, I need a full working device not a nice one, all benchmarks are worse in JB, with GB no RAM matters, actually this stock seem to be a baddly custom one.
Keep on JB if you like Bye
AW: XXMC8 issues back to GB
Imo I agree, GB is faster and more stable.
But JB has so awesome features so I like it. But maybe someday I go back to GB, too...

You can try some app on play store.
Also best way to improve performance is use Nova Launcher instead Touchwiz.

Hey,
I'm running my custom rom based on the latest beta 7.1.2 and since couple of days I'm having troubles with wakelocks on almost every rom I could be running. I've tried on stock kernel (mid battery life when using, no doze, about 3% lose at night) and elementarx (ya I know it's for 7.1.1 not a 7.1.2 but it works, good battery life when using but drain while screen off)
I've just made a logcat running stock kernel. I have almost no Google apps installed cause I rid 'em. On every rom I had been running wakelock line is the same and related to the same source and I have no idea how to solve it.
Here's kernel logcat (everything over wifi):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0yHhFX-ynZqRVZ6a2FQeDhSQ2s/view?usp=drivesdk
For all the time I see qcom_rx_ wakelock
And here's all the log logcat
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0...
[url]https://goo.gl/photos/mKWth63Dq5t5SecAA
Here are detailed wakelocks from wakelock detector:
https://goo.gl/photos/xDTQ3vf4WVCbvnKU9
It seems that interface doesn't let it doze, but I haven't modified this. Have you got guys any ideas?
I've already reinstalled rom, I had been running another customs with similar effect, I was even fully stock with locked bootloader and there phone was dozing but battery sucked anyway.
So?
Bests

Hi to all XDA member before i start to explain my problem with my LG G3 i wanna say sorry if you see some grammatical english errors, so after selling my LG G2 i buy a Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 six months ago but a few days ago i broke it and one my good friend gifted me his old phone because now he use a LG G5, the gifted phone of course is an LG G3 the versione of 2GB ram and 16GB memory space, he told me that the battery is old and consumed and that it would be better to replace it with a new one, yesterday i ordered a new original one what i want to ask now, the phone was alredy updated to last firmware for G3 (V30N 6.0) the battery of course from first moment i try it i see that is bad but the phone is laggy i mean i have lags everywhere, example when i scroll pages in the homescreen when i scroll pages options in settings, when i navigate in play store, when i try to play games like Piano Tiles 2 etc i have lags everywhere the phone run fast but the problem i have i repet its only lags, i tryed to downgrade to V30B but same thing i didnt try to downgrade to lollipop or kitkat, i rooted the 30B and then i tryed a custom firmware the Fulmics rom 6.9 same thing same lags nothing changed, before i decide to write here i watched videos comments etc on web and i see in every single video that the G3 all models with the stock 6.0 or with a custom firmware runs perfectly, my opinion is that the battery causes this laggy problem because of not correct power that the phone need to run smooth, is this possible? my free ram is about 300/400MB, to finish i have to say this last thing i remembered now when i open the camera sometimes the front camera show some green vetical lines on display to slove this i just make some pressure with finger on the camera and then the camera works normally and sometimes when i enter in camera app the button to swith rear/front camera just disappear if i reboot the phone the button come back of course i still have sometimes that vertical green lines sometimes i just open the front camera and the camera work fine, thank you all for your comments and helps.
I SEE NOW THAT I WRONG THE SECTION TO POST THIS QUESTION IM SORRY.
Tbh I doubt its battery related problem.
