Synch music onto Moto360 stuck - Moto 360

I've enabled the synch of music between my Nexus 4 and Moto 360 so that I can listen to music from my watch but it seems to be stuck for the last 2 hours or so. It originally had 36 songs to do and its sitting on 18. Total space that all of these take up is just under 1GB so its not like its too much data.
Anyone else getting the same issue?

It happened to me when I was low on battery. Once I charged the watch then it finished syncing my songs.

Thanks for your comment. I'll stick it on charge and see what happens. I started synching when it was at 80% so would have thought it would finish in time before it got low. Maybe it was just protecting itself to not drain so much battery.

Seems to have fixed itself this morning. Just left it for long enough and it all synched.

wp7 unknown battery drain

For the past 2 nights i have been experiencing this
had 50% power left the night before...
after 6 hours sleep
phone is out of battery @@
Now that aint right, im guessing something is running under locked screen and iono what!!! but i always jump out of any program when im about to sleep too, so it cant be because of that
In the past, i could have standby time for a long period especially after one night. But the past two days when i woke up, it always ran out of battery!! Also when i charged my phone to full life, i sometimes come back after a hour or two to find it dead!!!
This has never happened before and im wondering what could be the cause of it.
In the past i could leave my wifi, bluetooth, location on and it would still last overnight and i wasnt running any program
It cant be because of alphajax right? I mean i did install that two nights ago :\
That is really weird, which phone do you have? I have the hd7 and get 2 days between charges most of the time. Have you tried uninstalling alphajax to see if that helps?
I use a HTC mozart 7
Im gonna try uninstalling a few apps to see if that helps or switch to my secondary battery pack
just to let you know i watch videos before i go to sleep and because its get so hot it drains battery faster, even though i had 50% after I finished watching it went all out in about 8 hours of sleep.
That sounds highly likely, i was playing a game before that, then left it alone for 1 hour, check still had 50% battery, and then went to sleep
woke up with a dead phone
I will confirm that when I have overworked my focus, ie several hours of video and games, the battery can get very hot and if I wait until I get the low power warning, plugging it into my laptop USB can't keep up with the drain.

ok this is ridiculous
in 3 hours i lost 30% power on standby
ITS ON BLOODY STANDBY!!! lol i cant figure out whats causing it. I didnt use the phone for anything at all then put it to charge till 100%. Started counting down time...
If I were you and you dont mind loodsing games aves etc, Id try a hard reset and if that doesnt solve the problem go to LG and ask them to fix it if there may be a fault.
Sorry I cant help further and Goodluck!

I've had this issue as well. This has been going on for months for me. Before NoDo and the pre-update.
Perhaps the battery isn't calibrated properly. Mine shoots down to 50% over the day but sometimes an hour or so after I hit fifty the battery goes critical then dies.
Battery Drain
I have the Samsung Focus. Pre NoDo I could get maybe 18 hrs in standby, and charging from USB on my computer was not happening. I had to plug it into the wall. If I actually used my phone for maps, calls, web or whatever I would get about 10 hr's depending how "how much I used it". This was with EVERYTHING turned off. Bluetooth, location services, feedback, anything and everthing I could disable. After NoDo, I get about 2 days, and now it will charge from my computers USB. Go figure.
All I can guess is there was some sort of corruption in the ROM.
Just a side note, does anybody know what "NoDo" stands for???
Answer: No Donuts
Before the February and March updates, I woke up one day to see my battery had drained from 100% to 0% in about 6 hours of sleep. After recovering from an angry awakening next morning, I paid a lot of attention to how the battery was draining. So I charged up to 100%, went to work on the tube as I always do, and noticed how after about 45 minutes, the battery was down to 50%. That was just some music playback and checking a few mobile websites.
In the end I remembered the day before I had installed two applications, one of them being Lyrics and the other one being a BPM (beats per minute) detector for getting the tempo of a music track. I decided to remove that application and, voilá, the battery drain stopped. I would have uninstalled the Lyrics app but this was already taking me to a decent power usage state, so I stopped there.
If I were you I would check recently installed apps to make sure you don't have a power drainer that's magically working in the background when you put the phone to sleep.
Did you disable feedback in settings. That extended my battery life considerably

I know what your going through, but i found the solution.
Your mobile data is constantly running to check for updates on the game and push notifications. Disable data connection whenever your not using it, and i swear you will see a massive improvement. I have a htc trophy and its notorious for its bad battery. I used to only get 4-6 hours out of it, and now i get 12-14, with WiFi.
That reminded me.... alphajax uses push (although i had disabled it) to notify the user if the other player had made a move...
It all seems LOGICAL that alphajax is the culprit here....
but i also have lyrics, how does that app affect the battery???

[Q] About the battery life

I got my SW3 few days ago.
When I "unbox" this whist, I just did the init. installation (update) with the 5.0.1 version of Android Wear without fully charge it first.
After few days, I found that the battery lifetime can NEVER exceed 18 hrs from fully charged.
However the specification stated it can be up to 2 days, and some people in other forum posts said it can be more than 2 days.
I would like to ask if it is normal or not? Do I need to replace it? I am very confused.
What are your experiences? Please kindly share.
My watch was full on Wednesday, and I just plugged it in about 45 minutes ago with 5% left. Now, I did have it off overnight last night with about 32% before shutting it down. However, Wednesday night into Thursday I left it on and I only lost about 6%. So even I left it on last night, It would of still lasted me until 5pm today getting home from work. So I can go 3 days with my watch and getting a decent amount of notifications. Screen always on here as well.
I voted >60 because it does last me more than 2.5 days. I'm somewhat careful with it to get that amount, but it's certainly not hard to get that. But it should 100% absolutely be getting more than 18 hours. My suggestion would be to factory reset and only leave the essential apps on there that you need, if any. Just use the watch in it's bare minimal and see how your battery life is. If you still struggle for 18 hours, I'd say swap it out.
I charge mine every two days, however I could probably get another 5 to 10 hours out of it. I have GPS turned off, but everything else is on. I have Coffee, Mini Launcher, Facer, IFTTT, and a few other apps installed.
I charge every couple of days or so, and use it for reading notifications through the day, controlling spotify on the phone. Also running IFTTT, Facer, Mini Launcher, and using Sleep as Android at night (latest build worked wonders for this - before this I'd have to be charging every day.)

Hello,
How to disable GPS? Is it "localization services" in settings? Can you allways use "Google fit" correctly without it? Because without disable my SW3 last around 60h with : fit, notifications, ghostracer (gps for running around 45 minutes), watchmaker, wear mini launcher.
Thanks
My watch lasts me around 2 days when I sleep I put cinema mode on so the screen doesnt auto wake up
I've had mine for a week now today. I've had a couple very heavy use days where it lasted almost exactly 24 hours. However, yesterday was a moderate-to-heavy use day (worn and used for about 10 hours plus a little tinkering later in the night) and it still had 50% battery this morning. Resting much of the weekend when I got it, it had around 30% battery Monday morning. So it has varied with use, of course, but I'm pretty happy with the life. I knew a lesser battery wouldn't cut it on my heavy use days when I'm bored at work.
So, had my watch since Wed, and ben doing a good test since Sat morning:
Constantly paired with my S4
Screen off/Gesture off/Tap on
Non theater mode
Starting at 10:30Am Sat taking it off the charger, i have worn it since; checked a few emails, send a few voice texts, checked weather, etc. Currently (1:30 Mon), i am at 63%.
Frankly, i am more than happy with that battery life. If i can get away with charging it every few days casual use, without having to pair/unpair to conserve, i am sold. Now they just need to release the steel band for separate purchase (or a dedicated holder for band choice) so i can customize as much as my watch face.
So, here i am at 11:30 on Tuesday, and i am now at 10%; this included a GPS monitored walk, dozens of voice texts, emails received, time checked a bunch, and other misc fiddling with it. While the dreamer in me dreams of weeks of battery life, the realist in me is more than happy with 3.5 days of active life.
72 hour battery life 2% left
Edit: This is with display ON all the time. Tilt to wake OFF. No gps.

[Q] High battery drain. Can't even last a day

I read some people got as high as 36 hours if ambient screen was off.
My moto 360 barely last a day. 10-11 hours max.
Anyone know the reason?
Thanks in advance
I do not have an answer, but I can confirm that I am easily getting through a day on one charge. I have had my Moto 360 for a couple weeks now. During the course of the day, I receive frequent emails from three different email accounts and receive frequent texts. I use it to reply to texts. I use it to control music playing on my phone. I also receive frequent Google cards. Yesterday morning, I took it off the charger at 8 a.m. When I put it back on the charger a little after midnight last night, it still had 60 percent.

As of last week, mine no longer lasts all day either. I don't know what has changed, except it seemed to come after the Android Wear app update that enabled Wi-Fi.

yeah, i'm losing ~10% an hour too . . .
not sure why. Ambient off.
Yup my battery used to be great now today it died at 6pm... hurry with the update Motorola!
Until your 360 gets the 5.1 update there is no WiFi communication between phone and watch. However, if you have the Cloud sync enabled in the settings in your Wear app on your phone it could be trying to sync with the 360 and draining its battery?

It's disabled. My battery is somewhat fine if not using the watch, but 2-3 min gaming on it drains like 10-15%.
I have 35-45% left after reaching home from my 9 hour shift.
I am happy with it as I am not using it at home.
I put it to charge on reaching home. Take it from the charger at 100%. Switch off and turn on by morning.
If I don't turn it off by night, the charge will be 85% by morning.
I have also noticed considerable drain lately. It is not every day, but increasing frequency. Cloud sync is off. took it off the charger at 11am w/ 100% and by 530 it was at 2%. Last night I had a timer going for my laundry and it was depleting rapidly too. Its really annoying.

[Q] Ghostracer, WearMedia and battery life

I'm looking for anyone who uses Ghostracer and WearMedia for running. I'm only getting about an hour run in before my battery dies (starting from at least 90%). Just wondering if that's all I should expect from my watch, or if I got a dud and should exchange it.
Thanks!
I got about 30% battery drain per hour when I tried using the SW3 as a running watch.

Thanks for the reply - were you using both of those apps? Or any GPS and music apps together?
I want to leave my phone at home when I run, that was the whole point of getting this watch, but an hour just isn't long enough.

I was using Ghostracer, but not Wear Media or any other music app.
Endomondo
I am using Endomondo on my watches to track my skating and bike riding and battery usage is 20-25% per hour.
I was only trying Wear Media yesterday but I don´t have bluetooth headphones...
My new Smartwatch 3 has just used 45% battery in 1 hour and 5 minutes using Ghostracer. No music or anything else. Low power screen option selected. That useage strikes me as a bit high.
I'm getting so frustrated - one day I can go on a run and I come back with 50% battery left, and the next day, it dies before I get an hour in (same route, same apps being used.) I'm ready to return this thing!

When I tested my new watch it was only 2 days old. The original results were low as the battery was settling. I am happy to say, with a full charge, using Ghostracer with the gps switched on on the watch, the battery failed after 4 hours and 10 minutes of riding. Screen on low power option in Ghostracer (so always on dim with Ghostracer stats displayed), no music or anything else, aeroplane mode switched ON on the watch first then the gps switched on, no phone with me.
I'm happy with that.
And, on this ride, the gps was accurate to within 0.5%

New MOTO 360 - 3 Full Cycle of Charging Battery is Approx 6hrs

I just got my MOTO 360 and the main problem I faced after the slow Update is Battery life.
Its very worst and goes with apps usage it drops 20% battery if used for 5 to 10 min. I was waiting for charge cycles so that the battery life gets stable but today it worked only for 6 Hrs max and the remaining time displayed is absurd like 100% charge 1 hr remaining.
I did reset for like 3 time didn't work.
I have noticed some apps with no name eating battery.
Please let me know if its normal or I need to get is replaced as I have just got it 2 days ago.
Thanks
This is somewhat normal. You have to remember every time you resent your watch everything from your phone will have to sync to your watch again. I find that after a reset battery life is not good for the first day. Also if you have Google Music and are syncing any music to the watch that KILLS the battery down to 50% until all the music is synced. Also if you have Google Fit make sure on your phone you don't have High Accuracy Mode enabled as I have found that will run the GPS more often on the watch and kill the battery much faster.
